Rating: Summary: Totally Awesome! Couldn't put it down! Review: Just when I thought they couldn't do it again...The Indwelling was a GREAT addition to the continuing saga of the Trib Force during the last days. The writers did a much better job this time of not continually reviewing every time they mentioned a character. I blew through The Indwelling in the first day and can hardly wait for the next!
Rating: Summary: The Saga Continues Review: I absolutely loved every book in the series, even though the authors throw in some subtle "Catholic Bashing", especially in the first couple books. As a Catholic I try to overlook that and take the good out of the story. In addition to enhancing you spiritually, the story line is a real adventure with many thrilling moments. We must remember that they are novels and may not be 100 per cent accurate. Still and all many people, myself included, have found a deeper relationship with our Lord and are now reading The Bible daily.
Rating: Summary: Disappointed Review: As an avid reader of the series, I was disappointed that this book covered less than a week's worth of activity. With 3 and 1/2 years left to cover, the next four books will have to be pretty intense. I agree with the reviewer who said that this should have been condensed and made a few chapters in a more filled out book.
Rating: Summary: It was good but..... Review: As all the other books, I coulnd't put it down. All these books have helped me in becoming a better Christian and I think that no matter what others have said about these books, they served the main purpose for which they were written. I know Mr. LaHaye and Mr. Jenkins had our spiritual growth and improvement in mind when they wrote these books. I loved it. The only thing I didn't like was that it moved to slowly. I was hoping the story would get a lot farther than it got. I recommend it to anyone, but read the others first (if you have not).
Rating: Summary: InDwellling ok. Review: While I enjoyed The In Dwelling I don't think it met the standard of the first six books. Too much filler, not enough action or character development. 385 pages to cover less than a week is a bit much. A more streamlined approach could end the series in another couple of books. However, I avidly await number 8. This may not be the best series ever, but it's pretty darn good.
Rating: Summary: a very needed step in the series Review: Just as God used The Bible and other authors to bring me to salvation, he has used The Left Behind series to guide me to rededicating my life to Jesus. I will be honest, I had trepidation that a work of fiction would do justice to scripture. But I was very incorrect in that assumption. I didn't start reading the series until Feb, 2000 and I am up to date now, waiting for The Mark. The Indwelling was a great book! It was slow and only covered a few days but it dealt with the reality of being human during a time like the tribulation. Rayford's purposeful sin of pride and his subsequent return to trusting in God is probably one of the most important themes in the series. The middle of the series is a good time to deal with the characters personal struggles. I implore the series' fans to not give up! The authors have given us great paced action up to this point and I am sure this will resume with The Mark. To the unbeliever, please read The Bible along with this series. Make your decision for Jesus today! Yeshua Hamashaich!
Rating: Summary: The Best Review: I thought this was the best out of the seven. The book was filled with suspense the whole way through. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I have.
Rating: Summary: Not the best in the series Review: I am a fan of this series of books and just have to say that this is not one of the best. Long and drawn out, this book only covers three or four days. Rayford is out of character from the start of the book. Just do not believe that he would leave a member of the force behind. The killer came as a surprise to me, but not much else. I just hope that this is not the start of the falling off of this series of books.
Rating: Summary: a real let down Review: AFTER WAITING MONTHS FOR THE INDWELLING, I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED. ONLY THE LAST FEW CHAPTERS HAD ANYTHING TO REALLY DO WITH THE TITLE. I LOVE THESE BOOKS AND CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BUT I HOPE LAHAYE AND JENKINS ARE NOT GETTING GREEDY.
Rating: Summary: The Best So Far...Can't Wait Until The Next One Comes Out! Review: This has got to be THE BEST of the "Left Behind" series! Got it Friday night, finished it Saturday afternoon! This book is thrilling, happy, bubbling, scary, somewhat gory and full of sorrow...all in one! I absolutely loved the "dreams" that Tsion had visiting Michael & Gabriel. I felt that I too was there with him. I wept when Chaim became saved! Words cannot describe my feelings for this book! All of the books have given me a renewed thirst for God and His Word! All I can say is that Fall 2000 is just too far away to wait for the next one! LOL
