Summary: A heart-warming story, unique; one of a kind
Review: This book makes you a participant in the story. If you're looking for a heart-warming tale that gives hope of love lasting past the death of the physical body, this is it. This book is unique, in that the story is about the endless circle of love that transcends the earthly plane. John Edward fans will recognize John himself, in the fictional main character, as he describes his family, and his feelings about how we deal with life, death, family and God. A very easy read, with interesting plot devices. I recommend this book highly, and I look forward to more fictional tales from John Edward about the nature and importance of the spirit.

Summary: DEEPLY TOUCHED
Review: This book was one of the most emotional books I have ever read. Being of Italian descent I could picture myself throughout every scene that was being talked about in this book. This book definately delivers the message how important family is, and not to waste one moment while your together. If there is someone in your life you truly care about and maybe going through some tuff times, I would definately get them this book to read. It will lift your spirits.

Summary: This book is a must for the bereaved
Review: This work is amazing. You are taken on a poignant journey through Timothy Callahan's life and love. Little do you know the real gift you are given until the end, when everything comes together to surprise you and astonish you. My mother "graduated" two years ago, and I celebrated by reading this wonderful book. I laughed, I cried and I thanked God.

Summary: Excellent book!
Review: What if God Were The Sun by John Edward is a lovely story with a very positive message. Quick reading, and the only negative I could say about it: it didn't last long enough!!

Summary: A Treasure to Keep
Review: When I began reading "What If God Were The Sun"? I thought it was too simplistic and not particularly interesting, however, by the time I reached the end I was crying, unashamedly. The book was touching and enlightening, and although very simply written, is an enrichment for all of the family. It is a treasure to keep and a story to share with our children and grandchildren. God bless John Edward.

Summary: Great idea; execution could be better
Review: When I found out John Edward wrote a book of fiction, I immediately searched for a copy to read. I've always been fascinated by the spirit world and am myself trying to come to grips with how the soul abilities I have can be used to help others, like Edward does. Enter books like this, which I turn to in hopes of better understanding myself.

Just for the message and intent behind WHAT IF GOD WERE THE SUN? I give it three stars. Those alone make this little volume a pretty inspiring one. I think, though, that it could have been better written so it could be a more gripping and, thus, affecting read, especially for those whose interest in such matters could use a little perking up.

Technically of course there's nothing wrong with how the book was written. It's really more the "showing" instead of "telling" thing (that understandably plagues a lot of writers) that it could benefit from.

But kudos to you John Edward for your work in the field. I admire people like you who aren't afraid to come out in the open with your psychic abilities. I hope to learn how to handle mine better so I can begin doing what you and others have already begun.
