Summary: Think about time
Review: Well You have done it again Orson. Another great book I thought that the first 2 were unbeatable. Then you come out with a solem thinking book. This book has less action then Enders Game but on th other hand this book makes you think like in Speaker For the Dead. Xenocide has a way of always coming back with a new child "Gloriously Bright" Like Ender in mind but wont except that Jane is a, how you say, aaa yess. Living. She thinks she is a computer program. The book is full of conversations and mind blowing statements all the while holding you to the book. Its almost like your inside the book playing a person, and in the end a big suprise comes to hand with a box space ship and a newborn Ender mind. Dont miss this book or any of the Ender quadrant. I have ream them all ofer 3 times and it always excites me for the charectors lifes are strongly bonded to one another. An instant hit.

Summary: Card is still going and I still love it
Review: Well, Xenocide is so similar to Speaker for the Dead that it is almost just the 2nd half of that story. I love the development of Ender and Val. Also, Card continues to force me to reexamine my beliefs. He challenges me to open my mind and want to understand more and experience more of other ways of thought.

Summary: orson's best
Review: ender's game was great. speaker for the dead was even better. xenocide is surpassed them both.

true, it didn't have the almost strait conflict of ender's game, and it didn't have the strait politics of speaker for the dead. it was more of a middleground.

there were parts of the book with great intensity and suspense. there were also points of the book that were almost painful to read- not that i could have put the book down.

i wouldn't say it's an uplifting read- but its certainly one that changed my view on life at least a little, just as ender's game did, and speaker for the dead (to a lesser degree).

the only half complaint i can think of is that the extended dialogue is sometimes hard to follow.

if you've read ender's game, don't stop there. at least get this far.

Summary: Xenocide is good reading and well written.
Review: Xenocide by Orson Scott Card is an absolutely emotionally strong book. It is truly good reading from start to finish. It's good because the characters are described in such detail that you come to know them very well. I rate it a three star book, because though it was interesting some parts of the book were harder to get through than others. I liked the way the book was put together, but I didn't like the parts in the book where the family quarreled. It wasn't very positive and it didn't help the book any. This is the third book of the series, after Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead and is just as good as the other two. I had more fun reading Ender's Game the first book than the other three. I am looking forward to reading his fourth book of this series called Children of the Mind. If you want to read a book full of dread, anticipation, adventure, and conflict that is science fiction, Xenocide by Orson Scott Card is it.

Summary: Not to great but not to bad either
Review: I think this book isn't as good as the two previous books Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead. If it kinda boring to because it does not get right to the point it just drags on and on. Not like the other to books, but still a very nice book.

Summary: This' a thrilling book, and it includes parts of the series
Review: I like this book b/c it includes his siblings, and his new life on lusitania. It also brings in Wang Mu, and her friends, and bosses, and the starways congress reminds you of ender's time in the battle school.

Summary: Great book!!!
Review: This is a good book. It may not be as good as Ender's Game, but it still deserves 5 stars. It starts out a little slow, but has a good second half. I am looking forward to reading Children of the Mind after I finish Ender's Shadow.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A philosophical journey into the future
Review: Xenocide, although it does not have the shoot-em-up action of Ender's game, it a great sci-fi adventure. The characters all have realistic qualities, and the plot is rich and fascinating. I give this book five stars, because it combines detailed writing with a well developed fairly easy to follow plot.

Summary: One of the Best!
Review: Xenocide is one of the best books I have ever read (and I have read much of what is out there.) Card develops the characters even further, and presents many aspects of looking at and dealing with ethical, philosophical, and religious issues. Xenocide is so much more than your typical sci-fi/action story. With little to no violence in this book, it is still riveting to the end. I anxiously await reading Children of the Mind. This is one of the few books that truly deserves the epithet "A Must Read".

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A continuation of a great series
Review: A great series continues. Can't say much more than has aready been said. READ IT!
