Rating: Summary: From a skeptic, there is hope Review: I recently lost my mom, and for some reason, this book came to me. I am glad it did. I am not a religious person, and I have gone through years of schooling, so I have never been very spiritual.Sylvia Browne has this down-to-earth, direct style of telling about her experiences that really builds her credibility. The book really comforted me in this time of grief and got me interested in researching more the afterlife. I thank Sylvia for putting this out there. If you are really religious, in particular, Catholic, please, don't read this book. It challenges the foundation of most religions regarding the afterlife, but it makes so much sense to me.
Rating: Summary: Sylvia is the best! Review: Mr. Davis, if you dont believe in Sylvia, then dont purchase or read her books. In addition, please do not insult those who believe in her and have actually seen her in person. You cannot judge someone if you do not actually know them.
Rating: Summary: We CAN give messages to those that are gone! Review: Short and sweet! This book of Sylvia's has been VERY useful for myself and some friends who have lost those very close to them and are looking for an explanation. These questions that we have can not be answered by the 'average' person since it really does not make any sense to us on this earth plane. Sylvia is anything but 'average'! She has the UNDERSTANDING of what is like to be the 'average' person but is able to explain to us in such a compassionate way about the afterlife, she helps us deal with the grief WE are LEFT WITH in this life. I would also HIGHLY recommend "The One Minute Guide To Prosperity and Enlightenment" by Sri Siva (ISBN # 0-9724254-0-3). He also provides us with simple explainations of the secrets of why we are here and how we can deal practically with our afterlife so that we may attain lasting HAPPINESS no matter what happens in THIS life right now! Thank you Sylvia for your compassion and helping us through these MOST difficult times.
Rating: Summary: Interesting Review: Sylvia Browne offers advice on the many emotions and feelings that we experience in our lifetime. Joy, sorrow, grief, anger, revenge, you get the idea. But she offers such advice in a different way, by explaining what we are here for, what we supposedly did before we came here. What our loved ones who have passed on are doing now. For instance, should we really grieve for one who is better off? Of course not. But will we grieve, of course we will. Offering advice on what we want to know along with telling us how normal it can be to feel what we feel. I have not read other Sylvia Browne books but if this one is an example of her writing I will read more. She briefly discusses our life's chart, written before we came here, and it's option lines. This is a good introductory book to her writing I believe. Bottom line, easy to read, interesting, at times thought provoking, worth the money even at the 190 pages.

Rating: Summary: HUH? I'm confused.... Review: Sylvia is delightful, but she can't seem to keep her stories straight. Discrepancies abound. In this book she states that a soulmate is one's ..."twin soul, created the same moment you were...." In "Conversations With The Other Side" written two years later, Francine (Sylvia's guide who, one would think, would NOT give Sylvia false information), states, "At times, more than one male may ask a particular female to be their soulmate." Or, "CHOOSING [emphasis mine] a soulmate always originates with the male entity." So, which is it? A romantic coupling between two souls or that created-at-the-same-moment twin? Discrepancies aside, this little book is great reading and, as usual, Sylvia's humor is delightful!

Rating: Summary: Impressive Review: Sylvia poured her heart and soul into this book, along with her down-to-earth sense of humor. As a professional intuitive and spiritual teacher, I'm no pushover. But I became a fan. This title gave me good confirmation of things I knew, some information I didn't have before, and the fellowship of a woman with great courage and integrity.
Rating: Summary: What???? Review: There is no way that anyone can know what life is like on the other side experientially. The only one that can know is Jesus Christ. (Who died and came back to tell others) A definite miss on a book why fill up your head with lies and conjecture. Don't waste your time!!!
