Summary: The greatest love story!!!!
Review: I am from the North Carolina coast and am very familiar with the Wrightsville Beach area! I am very pleased that Nicholas Sparks likes to write about the coast of NC!! His next book takes place in Beaufort, NC , which is the area I am from!! I hope that "A Walk to Remember" is as great as "Message in a Bottle"!! It is a true love story that made me feel like I was there with them!!! A real TEAR JERKER!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not as good as The Notebook, but still worthwhile
Review: I really enjoyed A Message in a Bottle although I can appreciate why some readers were disappointed. While the book is enjoyable it does not live up to the standards set in The Notebook. That may be due to the fact that The Notebook was based on a true story about Nicholas Sparks wife's grandparents. I do, think, however, that if you allow yourself to suspend belief and be entertained, A Message in a Bottle is a very romantic and entertaining book. Just be careful, because if it pulls you in, you'll need a few tissues. I still think Nicholas Sparks is one of the best writers to reach a woman's heart. And I agree with the reader who wrote that D.M. Roman (the author of Fried Calamari) can really reach a woman's mind.

Summary: The most romantic book, it really touched my heart
Review: Nicholas Sparks just described everything so passionately. I loved every little thing about the book. It makes me long for a love that! The ending made me cry unstoppable. I just can't imagine a love so wonderful.

Summary: A Touching Love Story Book That Will Really Make You Cry.
Review: This is the most fabulous book I had ever read. I simply couldn't put down the book the moment I've start to read it. I had also seen the movie and thought that the storyline would be the same as the story book. But later did I found out that I had actually love the storyline in the storybook more than the movie itself. This book is really wonderful! And I really love this book coz it really touched my heart. I cried when I reached the ending chapters, and I simply couldn't resist my tears from rolling down after I've know that Garrett had actually died in the storm before he get to see Theresa. I had also cried b'coz in his last letter, he had actually wanted to go over to Boston to stay with Theresa forever. He said that he wanted to go over to Boston to see whether he can win her heart. But he did not even get to fulfill his last wish before he died. Sadly say, the ending is really a tragic. I couldn't stop crying even after finishing the book for about a 2 hrs. Till now, I would still picked up some parts to read during my free time. I highly recommend this book to those readers who really love romance stories. I will continue to give my support to this author.

Summary: Poorly written, ordinary, and uninspired
Review: If you can identify with a 30-something heroine with the annoying habit of twirling her hair around her finger, and if you enjoy such deft phrasing as "yesterday night," then this book's for you. It wasn't for me...I didn't even finish it. What a disappointment. Maybe the movie's better?

Summary: Yuck!
Review: I loved The Notebook. Thought that this was a man who could really write love stories that touched the core of a woman's heart. Indeed I even saw an old man wiping his eyes over the Notebook in NY! Eagerly anticipated his next novel. Very disappointing. Garrett must be the biggest sap in the world. At times, I wishes Theresa would put the two of us out of our misery and just throw the blasted bottle into the ocean where it obviously belonged!

Summary: The Best, Realistic Romance Novel
Review: I just finished reading "Message in a Bottle". I usually prefer mysteries to romance novels, but this book caught my eye.

I found it to be a beautiful story of two people falling in love during difficult times. I realized that the times we are arguing with our loved one, we are missing out on the "quality" time that can never be recovered. No one ever knows when something will happen to them.

This is the first book I have read by Nicholas Sparks, and it won't be the last. I just ordered "The Notebook". And I am looking forward to his next novel. While I was reading "Message...", I like many other readers, couldn't believe that a man could right such beautiful words. Boy was I wrong - and I apologize to all "romance" man-authors out there!

I highly recommend this book to everyone - even those who usually don't read romance. I was one of those people.

Summary: A very tragic love story.
Review: I went to see the movie and loved it so much that I wanted to read the book. I found the book to be a lot different from movie. I thought that although it was sad it also taught us a lesson in love. That we should be honest.

Summary: Brilliant!
Review: This is a wonderful book. Those people who didn't enjoy this book probably read Guns & Ammo.

Summary: A bittersweet love novel
Review: It really makes you think about love in a more positive way. It gives you hope. I coulden't put it down when I started the book, I loved it. Definetly one of the best books I've ever read.
