Summary: The Beautiful Book Review of the B.F.G.
Review: The Beautiful Book Review of the B.F.G.
The B.F.G. is the most wonderful story! It is one of the most treasured books that Roald Dahl has written. Some other books that he has written are Matilda, Boy, Tales of Childhood, and The Twits. The characters in The B.F.G. are Sophie, The B.F.G. (Big, Friendly, Giant), The Queen of England, The Bloodblotler, and The Fleshumpeater. The story takes place in Giant Country and England. The problem in the book is that the other mean giants are eating kids and the country is very worried, but then the big friendly giant steps up and save all the countries from all of the mean giants. He does not kill the big mean giants but he is going to trap them so they can't get out and harm any more children.
The B.F.G. is a terrific book that is funny and at times disturbing. One of the funny parts is when Sophie is snatched out of her bedroom and is thinking she is going to be dropped on to a pan sizzling with fat. What surprised Sophie was that she was not eaten, and the giant was very kind to her. One of the disturbing parts in The B.F.G. is when the nine other giants are galloping out of giant country and are going to other countries to gobble up kids for their dinner. This book is very exhilarating
Some readers or critics say that this book is good for all ages. However, for kids younger than eight, the book might be a bit disturbing. It might have a disturbing affect on kids 8 and younger. The sight of nine other half naked fifty foot giants might make them have nightmares. Others might think that the book has too much fantasy, but it is just fine to have kids 8-12 read it.

Summary: Wonderful Book!
Review: This is one of the funniest books that I ever read. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys to laugh. I liked how the BFG collected dreams and protected Sophie. He took her to Giant Land and taught her all about the giants. It seemed like the BFG really enjoyed Sophie's company. Rhoald Dahl really is creative and this book proved it.This is one of the best books I ever read and I think that it was a hysterical book!

Summary: little girls and their giant friends
Review: This is a creative, fantastic story about a little girl who makes friends with a Big Friendly Giant--although he isn't SO big, since he's only half the size of his evil, cruel brothers. This story has the typical Dahlian theme of nice children getting the better of evil adults. Few writers are as good as Dahl at telling different stories with the same theme and making them all compelling and wonderful and not repetitious. This is a wonderful book for an afternoon in fantasyland.

Summary: The BFG
Review: The BFG was one of the best books I read during fourth grade. Written by descriptive, serious, but always funny author Roald Dahl, it is about a little orphan named Sophie who is snatched out of her orphanage by the BFG or Big Friendly Giant who catches dreams & blows them into as he calls them "little chiddlers" windows.
The BFG lives in Giant Country where all of the other nine giants are maneating horrible creatures who are called: Fleshlumpeater, Childchewer, Bonecruncher, Manhugger, Meatdripper, Maidmasher, Gizardgulper, Bloodbottler & Butcherboy.
The BFG tells Sophie that the giants run off to states & countries every night to eat children. For instance, the giants go to Panama to eat children because they taste like hats. Sophie thinks up a plan that will rid the world of these beastly beings. This book is good for anyone to read from age 8 to 108!

Summary: The BFG
Review: The BFG by Roald Dahl was one of the best books I read during fourth grade. This book was extremely funny, and really fun to read. It was about a little girl and a big friendly giant. That is how the giant got his name, the BFG. As you know from the giant's name, he is very friendly, unlike the other giants that are bigger and ugly. The little girl helps the giant stop the other giants from eating children, after she gets taken away from her home by him. She is taken to another land where the BFG lives, along with the other mean giants. They might eat her if the BFG doesn't take good care of her and keep her hidden. In this book, the BFG and the little girl go through lots of wild things getting to know each other.
I have always loved all of the Roald Dahl's books and I think this was one of his best that I read. If someone came up to me to ask what book they should read, I would say to try to read The BFG.

Summary: Still one of my favorites
Review: My third-grade teacher read us this book in class, and since then I have read it many times over myself. Even now, fifteen years later, it is still one of my favorites. The BFG's gentle nature and Dahl's imaginitive story remind me of the Harry Potter books, which I have also come to love. It doesn't matter if you're an adult or a kid - this book is worth the read.
