Summary: A Trip to Giant Country
Review: If you like Frobscottle, Snozzcumbers, Wizzpoppers, Blood Bottlers, Boncrunchers and Manhuggers, then this is the book for you. It has all of the above, and more. Sophie gets snatched, almost eaten and has a great plan to end all misery in the world. What more could you and everyone else ask for? (Other than a sequel). What else could happen? LOTS.......
It was the witching hour in London and Sophie sat at the window looking outside. Then she saw a tall man carrying a briefcase and something that looked like a long trumpet. The man was as least as tall as a three-storey building. Then the man reached his hand into her dormitory and snatched her from the window. "THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!" Soon the thumping stopped, and Sophie knew that they had reached the tall man's destination. It was called Giant Country.
They arrive at the BFG's house (a cave), and when Sophie gets plopped down on a twelve-foot tall table she thinks that she is about to get eaten. But to her mistake, she was only taken to Giant Country because no one was allowed to see a giant.
In Giant Country, there were lots of mean giants: Blood Bottler, Boncruncher, Manhugger, Fleshlumpeater, Childchewer, Meatdripper, Gizzardgulper, Maidmasher, and Butcherboy. And then there was also the one and only nice giant: the Big Friendly Giant (the BFG). The BFG was a very friendly giant, and unlike the other giants that go galloping to far away countries to gobble up human beans the BFG goes galloping to England every night to blow dreams into people's heads-and he eats snozzcumbers and drinks Frobscottle.
Before I say anything else, I must release my true feelings about this book. I LOVED it and I think there should be more books in the world like it. Well, I don't think you'll like it if you don't like fantasy, because it has a lot of fantasy. For instance there are no such things as giants or dreams being blown into your head. I would suggest this book for all ages, if you like fantasy.
I think the most exciting part in the book would have to be the part about the plan, but I'm not about to give away the ending. If you are interested, I'm sorry but you'll just have to read it!

Summary: The BFG review
Review: Picture a giant... Let me guess what you pictured. An enormous, terrifying creature that wants to do nothing more than grind up your bones, and eat you whole. If this is what you pictured, then it's obvious that you didn't read this book! "BFG" stands for big friendly giant. That is exactly what he is, he is an enormous, funny and big hearted creature that wants to help an orphan named Sophie who ran away. But, like in every story there is a down side.. there are the kind of giants that you pictured. Their names are: Bonecruncher, Bloodbottler and Fleshlumpeater. They are planning to eat all the inncoent children of London. The BFG and Sophie have to help the innocent children! This book has suspense and humor all in one! I loved it, and I'm sure you will too!

Summary: The Big Friendly Giant is da bomb!!!!!!
Review: In the book, the BFG (big friendly giant) by Roald Dahl, a little girl named Sophie gets taken out of her room one night, when the BFG spots her looking out her window. In giant country, the BFG shows Sophie the nine human- eating giants, who are 10 time the size of the BFG!. Each night they venture off to various countrys to munch on little human "beans". Sophie knows that if she doesn't put a stop to this, she might be slurped down by one of the giants like you would slurp a coke! So Sophie and te BFG devise a plan. But i wont tell you anymore- read the book!

Summary: The BFG
Review: If you like Roald Dahl you should read the BFG. The BFG stands for Big Freindly Giant. The BFG gives everyone dreams by getting his suitcase( in wich he keeps the dreams.) Then he takes his trumpet looking thing, and blows the dream in the window where the child is sleeping. Whatever he blows, thats's the dream the child has. I think it's a good book. It's funny, silly, and kind of disgusting.

Summary: Friend of the BFG
Review: Are you tired, depressed or just plain bored? Put this book in your shopping cart. Go on, do it. It's the funniest book I have ever read. My favorite part is when the BFG and Sophie are talking about soda and the BFG begins to describe what "wizzpoppers" are. *LOL* It is hilarious. However, I would not attempt to read this aloud to anyone because you would be giggling the whole time. Hey--stop reading this and order it. Sheesh.

Summary: This book is so unique and cool!
Review: The awesome book that I read is called the BFG.If your wondering what the BFG stands for the Big Friendly Giant. The BFG(Big Friendly Giant)is about a giant that takes a little girl that lives in an orphanage away because she sees him at night(when she is supposed to be sleeping). He has to take he to a far away place to where the giant livesor else she will tell everbody that she saw a giant. She wonders what's in the suitcase that she saw him holding at night. She also wonders where she is.The giant spends his lifedoing things and eating some kind of vegetable
Hint:It rhymes with cucumbers.
Where the giant takes the girl, there are other "people" living, there. At the end of the book the "people" are taken away.If you want to find out where he took the girl, whats in the suitcase, and what the giant eats you should read the best book in the world, the BFG.I liked this book because at first I heard people saying that it was a good book so I went to the library,I checked the book out and as soon as I started reading i could not put it down!
I reccommend the book for children 8-10 years old because I have a feeling that they would like it better than somebody that was 11 or 12 because other kids might start reading the book and think that its for babies.I think that the type of person that would like the BFG is somebody that likes adventure and suspence because the BFG is kind of both.Somebody that wants to read adventure and suspense, I recommend that you read the BFG first!!!

Summary: the great BFG
Review: BFG is an insightful book about english life. It was a fun storie that that gives entertainment to the reader. Its about a little girl who looks out of the window and sees a giant. He finds her and took her to his home. There are many adventures they go on like stopping the other giants from guzzling humans. It is filled with humor because BFG can't talk correctly. He might say,"Am I right or left." Overall I think this is a great book and it was fun to read.
