Summary: A delightful little book
Review: Though I am a large Dahl fan, and thought that this book was completely charming, I admit I don't consider it as good as most people. For some reason I find his other children's books, such as "The Witches," "Matilda" and "The Twits" much more creative and enjoyable. However I do realize that this is a much beloved book to a good number of people, and I hope it is still enjoyed in years to come.

Summary: The BFG, one of Roald Dahl's best!
Review: What would you do if you were captured by a big friendly giant and had to save England's people from getting eaten by giants? That's what happens to Sophie in The BFG, a very, very funny book by Roald Dahl. In this book the very comical BFG (Big Friendly Giant) and Sophie must stop the mean giants who live in Giant Country from eating people. The BFG has a very interesting plot and again is very humorus. This book is especially for kids who like humor and adventure. Will the giants gobble up England?

Summary: It is thrilling, fun, and funny
Review: This book is about this little girl named Sophie. One night she is visited by a giant creature. It is so bizarre she thinks she is dreaming. A giant named the BFG comes and captures her from her bed. The giant takes her to his cave. He captured her because he was lonely and needed a friend. Sophie was frightened to the bone. She did not know who the giant was. He asked her if she would like something to drink and gave her a drink that was like wine or beer. When they finished they started burping it was very funny. In this book there are many funny and friendly giants but there are also many mean and really bad giants that like to eat people. There are also many weird names like bottlepopper. If you would like to find out if The BFG and Sophie become friends or if she ever goes home again read the book ,The BFG. I am sure you will love it if you like funny names and fantasy tales.

Summary: The BFG an amazing, adventure filled story
Review: The BFG is about a Big Friendly Giant who takes this girl named Sophie from a little girls orphanage to Giant Country. There are many bigger giants who eat little children, so the BFG had to keep Sophie a secret. The BFG didn't eat children though. He ate snobcumbers witch were like cucumbers but the snobcumbers taste awful. The BFG and Sophie tried to kill the giants because they were planning to eat everyone. They got the help of everyone in the city. To find out if Sophie and the BFG defeated the bad giants, read the BFG by Roald Dahl. This book is filled with imagination and all sorts of creative ideas. I liked how Roald made it always exciting. It was hard to put down.

Review: This book by Ronald Dahl captivates the imagination of even elders along with the youngin's. If you are looking to scrape your child's eyeballs away from the T.V. this summer, this is a good way to do it.

Summary: As an avid Roald Dahl fan, I must give this book five stars.
Review: I have been reading Roald Dahl's books ever since I was about 8, and I will have to say that this one was my favourite. The BFG is a wonderful story about a giant who kidnaps a young girl from an orphanage. Sophie soon learns that this giant isn't one to be afraid of, and comes along with him on his many adventures. This book like others by Roald Dahl is funny and full of strange things that no one else could have thought of. In my opinion this is a great book and it definately deserves five stars!

Summary: I liked this book so much that I would read it again!
Review: There was a lot of action in the story. The author had a good imagination and I liked the ending. In the beginning of the story a little girl named Sophie is in her bed and she wakes to find a giant outside her window. Sophie is taken against her will to the giant's cave on the other side of the earth. There she discovers she is in the company of the only friendly giant in the world. The Big Friendly Giant, also known as the BFG tells Sophie about his nine dirty and mean brothers. Because of the BFG, Sophie is able to mess up the bad brothers' plot to eat all the children in the world. I liked this story very much and recommend it to everyone.
