In Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing you can read about it. It is by Judy Blume. It takes place in New York. The main characters are Peter and his little brother Fudge. I like it because it is very funny. If you like to laugh read this book. My favorite part is when Fudge wants to be a bird and gets scratched a lot. It does not matter what kind of brother or sister you have just try to love them, they will get older. Find out how Peter can get along with his brother Fudge?
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: This book did not age well Review: I loved Judy Blume when I was a kid way back in the '70's. I think this was the first book of hers I read. However, now that I am reading it with my 7 and 8 year-olds, I find myself wanting to stop and point out the mean-spirit toward Fudge. He acts hideously, but he is a 2-year-old! He is set up to be "naughty" (not a P.C. word we use in the parenting biz these days) Why is the mom in this book leaving 3 nine-year-olds in charge of a 2-year old in Central Park? Why is anyone allowing the father's clients in the apartment? Why doesn't the Grandma give the Mom a Xanax and a gift certificate to Parenting Classes at the New School? We will move on to "Superfudge" just to find some redemption.I would guess "Forever" didn't age well, either. At least we won't be reading that together this year...

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: My Review on "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" by:Judy Bloom Review: My Review on "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" I liked this book; it had to have taken a lot of imagination for such deep characters like Fudge and Peter. You could tell that Fudge really looked up to Peter, wanting the same kind of shoes, doing the same things and always following him around. The book had a quick ending though, it all ended with Peter getting a dog and naming it "Turtle." There should have been at least an epilogue, but there wasn't. There was a catch to the story though, just like there is in all fiction stories. Judy Bloom really exaggerated what a three year-old acts like. When my four year-old brother, Matthew, was three, he never ran away in movie theaters or cried because he wasn't like me. In his whole life he has never ruined my homework, or put stamps on a guest's suitcase. I don't think that Judy Bloom had any little brothers, maybe a little sister, though. Judy Bloom must've worked really hard to show characters' feelings. Peter was devastated when Fudge ruined his homework or swallowed his turtle. She really did show how picky mothers could be about pets. "I don't like the way that turtle smells." She said. The pet store is loaded with turtles and I never detect any odor from them. Overall, I give: Judy Bloom's "Tales of a Fourth grade Nothing" 4 stars.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Adventures of Peter Hatcher and Fudge Review: TALES OF A FOURTH GRADE NOTHING By Natalie Watch out! Here comes an out of this world Two-year-old. If you read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing you'll see how much of a hazel Fudge can be and his brother Peter's had enough. You'll laugh until you cry with this hilarious book And many others like Superfudge and Fudge-a-Mainia By Judy Blume illustrated by Roy Doty. The beginning starts with Peter getting a new turtle named Dribble and Fudge is just fascinated by it. In fact, you'd think it would be better if Peter had just said no to the turtle. Well, Fudge goes through many experiences with or without Peter's turtle. Whether he's scribbling all over Peter's homework or throwing a temper tantrum in the shoe store Fudge can be a blast. Some of the characteristics that Fudge has are annoying and troublesome. I know because in the book Fudge lost his two front teeth. Can you guess how that happened? And Peter, I'd say some of the characteristics about him are generous and polite. I know because when Peter's dad made an egg omelet with a dozen eggs and Peter tried it all he said was "tastes great dad". This realistic fiction book reminds me of Junie B. Jones. They just want to be the center of attention. Fudge also reminds me of my little sister their never far from trouble. I think this book is one of the funniest books I've ever read and I recommend this book because when you read it you'll see that with Fudge anything can happen.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: this is a funny book review about tales of a fouth nothing Review: Tales of A Fourth grade Nothing Book review by Noah Genre: Fiction This book is about a boy named Peter that gets a turtle that he named Dribble. Peter has a little brother named Fudge. Fudge has a birthday party disaster and two of his teeth fall out. Peter lives in an apartment in New York. Fudge is my favorite character because he is funny. For example on pages 23 and 24 he acts like a dog by eating food off the floor. His dad pours cereal on Fudge's head and on page 51 at Fudge's birthday party someone pees on the floor. I think this is a good book because it is funny and exciting like on pages 110 and 111 Fudge eats Dribble, his brother Peter's turtle. I can relate to this book because Peter is the same age as me, which is nine. I've read Double Fudge, which is another book by Judy Bloom. My connection is being on a playground with someone you don't want. Like when Peter does not want to baby-sit Fudge at the playground. Two more connections I have is I have a sister the same age as fudge witch is 3 years old, and my other connection is me and peter are the same grade 3rd. If you like funny books I think you would like Tales of a fourth grade nothing and Double fudge because they are hilarious. I hope that you like it because I do a lot. There are a lot more Judy Bulme books like Fudge-a-Mania, Superfudge, Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great and more.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Family Treasure Review: I picked this book up tonight for the first time since the FOurth Grade. My four year old son had been begging me to read out of my book to him, and not quite ready to answer the questions my steamy romance novels would conjure I found one of my childhood memories tucked away on a shelf. We read the first chapter tonight before bed and throughly enjoyed it. This is a delightful story of a boy names Peter and his baby brother Fudge. It is full of humor and is written at a level any child who can talk will understand. You won't be dissapointed as you follow Peter through some tough times dealing with his brother Fudge.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: We Love This Book! Review: We are a third grade class that just finished reading this book, and we thought it was great. The main characters are Peter and Fudge Hatcher. Peter is nine years old, lives in an apartment in New York, and gets frustrated with his annoying three-year-old brother. Fudge is very funny and he always gets in trouble. At the end of the book, Fudge even swallows Peter's turtle, Dribble, and has to go to the emergency room. Another funny part of the book is when Fudge gets lost in a movie theatre because he wants to go to the screen and touch the bears that he sees. Also, Peter's dad is a horrible cook, but for some reason Fudge can't get enough of his food. Overall, we would recommend this book to people who like to laugh out loud because it's very hysterical and it has a lot of hilarious drama.
