Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A funny book, very entertaining Review: My teacher read this book to my class in the fourth grade. It's a mess! I like the humor behind it, but it also has an element of seriousness. I have to say, that Fudge could not have grown up in my house! My mother would have wrung his neck, literally. But Judy Blume provides a nice, humorous insight into the antics of having a younger sibling. I loved it. I plan on reading it again now that I'm older.

I was addicted to reading something that Judy Bloom Wrote... Other Great books are Utherwise Known as Sheila the Greatest, Super Fudge, and Fugamania!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: There's no way to summarize this book in one line! Review: This was the first true novel that I ever read, in Fourth Grade, as it happens... I haven't read it in 9 or 10 years (I plan to reread it now that I am in college, and now that I realize how important it was to me...), but it was, to me, an inspiration to think creatively, outside of what my teachers told me to think... the only other novel that has influenced me so much is The Catcher in the Rye. I would love to talk to Mrs. Blume, if only by email, about, among other things, the deveopment of maturity of her characters, the subject, that, unfortunately, Mr. Salinger has denied from us... I would honestly rate Mrs. Blume as one of the greatest writers of our generation, not the greatest only because I have not read her novels in years and do not yet know her full potential. At my University I have had the chance to meet many famous people, from the Dalai Lama to the Pres. Clinton; honestly, I would love to meet Mrs. Blume most of all. Perhaps even more than JD Salinger.John. D. Hadden, Emory University
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A very funny book about an ordinary boy. Review: The book is comprised of a collection of vignette-like stories that progress over time, as opposed to one main storyline. It is reassuring to find that Peter has the same problems as any older sibling. His little brother "Fudge" is adorable, but no one else seems to see how much trouble he causes. This is a good choice for anyone with a toddler in the family. Readers should not expect the usual laid out plot, but rather a sequence of memorable events.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I finally got my son off Goosebumps books Review: I have been desperately trying to get my 10 year old fourth grade son to read something other than Goosebumps books, no offense to R.L. Stein. I stumbled on this title and was struck by the title. Since my son was in Fourth Grade when I purchased it I thought this my be the perfect trigger. I was right! He started reading it the day after it arrived and brought it back and forth school until he finished it. He said it was EXCELLENT and asked me if I could get more books like this. I did and finally succeeded in diversifying my son's reading. THANK YOU! Judy Blume. A grateful mother of three.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I love The Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing Review: Peter has a big problem, his little brother Fudge. The setting of the story is in a town. The characters are believable because some kids never want to go shopping with their mom and little brother and some kids have to be entertained at a three year old's birthday party. The main character is likeable because he is nice and funny.I liked the story because it is so interesting and exciting that when I needed to stop reading I wouldn't take an eye off of it.My favorite part was when Fudge got another Picture Dictonary. What I learned from this book is never to leave your homework in a place where a three year old can get ahold of it.I would recommend this book to a friend because there's always something new going on and you never want to put the book down.If a friend likes this book he or she would also like The One In The Middle Is The Green Kangaroo, Otherwise Known as Sheila The Great, and Fudge Amania.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: boring Review: this book is REALLY boring, I could't even finish the first 3 chapters, I LOVE Judy Blumes books, it's just this one was like she slapped it together in like 1 week, not much of a plot either.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Very good book. Would recommend for people who like Judy. Review: A funny book about a wild 2 year old child - "two and 1/2 year old hurricane". This book is about a ten year old boy named Peter and his brother Fudge. Their father is in advertising and loses a big account because of Fudge. Peter wins a pet turtle at his friend Jimmy Fargo's birthday party. Towards the end of the book Fudge eats the turtle, so Peter's parents get him a dog in replacement. I would recommmend this book for people who like books about wild kids who mess up their relatives lives. Both boys and girls from third to sixth grade would like this book.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Very funny but needs stronger plot Review: This book is about a fourth grader who's little brother gets in all sorts of different things. Now I'm going to tell you some of the story. In the park Peters brother, Fudge, thinks he is a bird and trys to fly. When he jumps he hits the ground and losses two of his teeth. Well thats all I'm going to say.
