Summary: The Cay had a wonderful plot & characters.
Review: I enjoyed reading The Cay.The book had a wonderful plot.I liked it so much, the night our class finished reading it I bought it.The book showed a lot about racism.I liked how Timothy talked. It was horrible that Timothy died, but it made for a good ending.I almost cried because I thought Timothy killed Stew Cat.I think Theodore Taylor should ha- -ve given Stew Cat a bigger part in the story. I also thought Phillip was sort of rude to Tim, but he ended up being his friend.Stew Cat was my favorite character. REVIEWED BY: ANDREW PRICE

Review: I think this book was excellent. Timothy was so amazing. He taught Phillip how to get around while he was blind. It was very sad when Timothy died. This book teaches you that there is no difference between blacks and whites. "Tat' be tru'!!!"

Summary: THIS IS A REALY GREAT BOOK.
Review: I wish the man would of had an octopus in stead of a cat. Then it would of been a beter book. But it is steel sad that Phillp couldn't see.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A Great Book.
Review: There is not much to say about "The Cay" except it really took blindness to make Philip see. But it would have been interesting for Philip to still be blind so the author could write a sequal. The author should have not let Timothy die because it would have been neat to have Timothy meet Philip's parents. Other then that, it is a great book. I definently recommend to people to read.

Summary: The Cay was great!
Review: I liked Stew Cat, Phillip, and Timothy. I really liked how Timothy talked ("Dat be true.") There were some parts I didn't like. I didn't like the part when Timothy hit Phillip. Even though I didn't like some parts; it was still a great book!

Summary: I gave The Cay FIVE STARS.
Review: I thought THE CAY was A really good book. It was very sad when Timothy died on the island. The book showed that black people are just like white people and that they are important. If you like ACTION and ADVENTURE I recommend this book to YOU!
