Rating: Summary: Survival Attack of the Black and the Blind Review: This fantastic story has tons of great and exciting parts. Philip is a young boy who gets stranded on a cay with a black man that seems to be stuborn and mean. Philip is a blind boy and he was on his way to a different island with his mother during a war. The old black man's name is Timothy. Stew Cat is a cat that Timothy found on the ship so it belonged to him. Philip was never aloud to be around black people because his mother told him that they were just different. Philip's good friend is Henrik Van Boven. When Philip and Timothy are on the island, a big storm comes and Timothy is trying to protect Phillip as much as he could. (...)

They where stuck on a cay called the Devils Mouth. (...)
Rating: Summary: Lost for 58 days on a mysterious island. Review: Timothy and Phillip meet on a raft after being shipwrecked by a German submarine and lost on a forgotten island. This book tells the difficult journey to survive on a island for 58 days. Phillip is blind from a crack on the head and Timothy is over 70 years of age, oh yeah, and you can' t forget Stew Cat(Stew Cat used to belong to the chef on the torpedoded boat). The three of them try to survive on a mysterious cay in the center of a Devil' s Mouth.
Rating: Summary: Doddel Happens on The Island Cay Review: I think " The Cay" was not very intersting at first, but the further you got in the book the more exciting the book was. " The Cay" is very sad at some parts, but also very intersting. Sometimes Phillip didn't belive in himeself beacuse he became blind, but after he was by himself he started to belive in himself more. I think it is very improtant to also belive in yourself and that is why I really recomend this book to others. " The Cay is about a boy named Phillip and he gets stranded on an island with a black man named Timothy and a cat named Stew Cat. Phillip got hit on the head from a ship renk and became blind. Phillip depends on Timothy for food and shelter, but Timothy is very old and doesn't think is going to live much longer. So Timothy starts getting Phillip ready to surive by himself. You will have to read the rest of the book to find out wat happens at the end. I will give you a hint... the end is very good and surprising!!
Rating: Summary: Shipwrecked, Lost, NOW What??? Review: Timothy and Phillip have been shipwrecked and lost. What will they do? This book is full of adventure, excitement, and a bond of friendship that will never be broken, no matter what color skin. I enjoyed this book because the author was so discriptive, and made you think you were right on the island with Timothy and Phillip. This book was so good that I could never put it down. The most important thing to me in the book was the extraodinary friendship. No matter what Phillip's mom told him he was still friends with Timothy. I thought that was wonderful. This book is great.
Rating: Summary: woundress clanging cay or the tretrous cay Review: Well I think the cay was a great book it was exsiting till something boring happens but then exsiting again but I do like tose kind of storys. The story had a perfect beggining a sad but happy ending.the characters were perfect for there part.It was as good as my favorite book. I also feel like the story was real!Well that is what I think of the Cay.
Rating: Summary: Stranded Review: I liked the book The Cay. It was interesting, though some parts were scary. I liked the character Timothy, because he was a good guy and to Phillip it did not matter what color Timothy's skin was, because Phillip was blind. Phillip ended up trusting Timothy with his life. We read the book in class, and most people liked it. To me it gave me a real look about what it was like in World War Two, when my grandfather was a pilot. It gave me a look on how hard it was for everyone, even if you were innocent. Phillip was only a boy but the War changed his life drastically, like so many others, because he was stranded.
