Summary: This book was great!!!!!!!!
Review: "The Mystery at Liliac Inn" was great!!! It's full of suspence and i couldn't put down for a second!!!!!! The part in the book that was the best was when the bad guys all kidnap Nancy. When the bad guys find Nancy snooping around and about to go to the police, they take her hostage, tie her hands benind her back, tie her legs together, and tie a handkerchif around her mouth as a gag so she can't scream or talk. Anyway, when the kidnappers(to find out who they are, read the book), decide to take Nancy to an island and hold her hostage there until her dad pays a ransom for her, they go on a boat there and relize that the water is to rough and the boat was about to go expload!!!!!!! So, in the middle of the lake, all of the kidnappers jump overboard and leave Nancy in the cabin tied and gagged!!!!!!! There are other boats around, but remember, Nancy still has that handkerchif tied around her mouth as a gag, so whenever she tries to talk or scream, she just goes "MMMMMMMMMMPH. MMMMMMMMMPH. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMP". Will Nancy Drew get the gag out of her mouth and yell for someone to save her? Find Out BY READING!!!!!!!!!! Other books that have Nancy in peril like this (e.g.- being kidnaped, tied and gagged) include: The Clue of the Velvet Mask; The Quest of The Missing Map; The Mystery at The Ski Jump; The Secret of the Old Attic; The Clue of The Tapping heels; The Clue of the Black Keys; and The Secret at Seven Rocks. Enjoy!!!

Summary: Nancy Drew's Great adventure at Lilac Inn
Review: I chose to read this book because it looked like an interesting and fascinating book to read. I thought it was going to be about a haunted house filled with ghosts. The book wasn't really what I expected it to be. Now that I have read this book I think that it was a lot more exciting than what I thought it would have been. The main characters are Nancy, Helen, Emily, and John. The story is about Emily getting ready for her wedding in a couple of days. She invites Nancy and Helen to be the bridesmaids and asks them to come to Lilac Inn, which she owns. When they got there strange things began to happen at the inn. They believed that it is haunted. Nancy discovers there is an impersonator using her identification. All these mysterious things are happening and Nancy is trying to get to the bottom of it. As she tries to solve this case she gathers more clues and with the help of her friends she solves the mystery. This Nancy Drew book is the fourth book Carolyn Keene has written. Carolyn Keene is a great author and makes her stories fun and exciting to read. She is a great writer and makes this story easy to follow and understand. I like this book very much because it was thrilling and very exciting. It grabbed my attention right away. I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. I didn't want to ever put the book down. It made me eager to read more. I personally like mysteries and this book was one of the best mysteries I have read in a long time. I think you should read this book because it is well written and it will keep you guessing about what will happen next. I think this book is appropriate for ages ten and up. I give this book a rating of five, five being the greatest. This book is about Nancy Drew trying to solve the haunting mystery case at Lilac Inn.

Summary: Read the book.
Review: I have read most of this series and I thought this book was thebest.

What do you like in a book? This book is a suspencefulmystery. Read this book and if you don't like it then I'm sure you won't like the others in the series. You don't need to read these books in order. This book is number four in the series.

I suggest you read the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Super Mysteries written by Carolyn Keene. They are even better then this series. And the best part is that both girls and boys can read the series without feeling unusual.

That's about it.

Summary: This is the best book that Carolyn Keene ever wrote.
Review: I liked this book so much because it had more than one mystery within it. Even though I've read it before, it was still scary. In fact, it was the scariest one she ever wrote, as well.

Summary: The intro by original author of series worth the price!
Review: I love the original versions of the books in this series that Applewood Publishing has been printing. If you are a Mother who read the series, these make excellent books for your daughters who love to read and like a good mystery! The illustrations are great. The dialogue is dated, but only leads to the charm of these books. The true author's name was Mildred Wirt Benson, a ghost writer from the MidWest. She was the first graduate of journalism from the University of Iowa. She writes an introduction to this book that is worth the price of the book alone! Not my favorite in the series, but it still evokes the spirit of the 30's and the fun I had curling up and devouring these books on a rainy weekend afternoon.

Summary: My personal Opinion
Review: I love this book. I have read in before and I have rated it a 4-star book. Only one star away from the tops. The only reason I didn't make this a 5 star is the criminal, whom I won't say, you don't know him/her untill the very end. And I like to figure out the mystery as I read the books which I couldn't do here, but the events that happen in here and the way the story line just clicks, makes up for that! From canoe crashes to stolen diamonds, this book has it all!

Summary: I found it a bit boring...
Review: I read the 1930 version. The book was well written, but never managed to hold my intrest for some reason. I just found it boring.

Summary: Great
Review: I really enjoyed reading this one, though it isn't my favorite. Still, all the Nancy Drew books are great, and no matter what you ALWAYS wind up getting pulled into them. I suggest this one greatly.
