Summary: Dying to Please unabridged
Review: I just finished the last tape. Had to park and listen to the last side. WoW! It really kept me going. Susan Erickesen did a supurb job on the reading/acting. very unique character; that of a female butler and body guard. I loved every suspenseful minute but knew that once Sarah's first feat was televised there was trouble ahead. Her stalker has truly set an elaborate trap.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: Linda Howard has done it again. I really liked this book. I couldn't put it down and stayed up all night reading it. I look forward to her next one.

Summary: Excellent if you're looking for sensuality!
Review: If you are one for sensuality this is definately the book for you. The story line is a bit graphic. The premise is that the main character Sarah Stevens is a highly paid, well trained butler who just so happens to double for a bodyguard. She's of course the beautiful, strong willed athletic sort (every woman's basic nightmare), but somehow extremely loveable.
Your heart really has to go out to her when her employers suddenly start becoming victims of mysterious homosides that somehow places her as the prime suspect. The real twist comes in when the head detective on the case, Tom Cahill becomes the steamy romantic interest.
I will say that it takes Ms. Howard a while to get the duo right to it, but I assure you, once those two go at it, they do it well... and OFTEN!
The book has a wonderful plot, a great deal of suspense, and excellent sensuality. I would not hesitate to grab another of Linda Howards books!!! Do yourself a favor and read this book!!

Summary: A hot read
Review: This stalker murder story is well done. Sara has a career as a butler/bodyguard, a plan for
her life and can take care of herself. She's convincing as a victim who's not going to be
a victim. Police detective Cahill is a divorced, untrusting alpha male (plus) who makes
mistakes, but admits to them. Their bantering is amusing and their encounters are hot.
There was an incident that was reminiscent of a scene from an earlier book "Cutting
Edge", but it was written much better here. I also liked that the story took place over a
period of time and not an "overnight" romance intrigue.

Summary: Linda Howard books are the BEST!!
Review: This book is a must read! I love her books! Linda Howard writes the most amazing suspence novels ever! You could get sucked into reading her books hours on end without stopping. Her western novels were amazing but her suspence novels are magnificent! I love the way she combines romance and suspense. Her novels are erotic, funny and thrilling, with a touch of suspense. Her characters are so funny and sexy. The way she describes them are so compelling they almost seem real. Keep up with the good work Linda! And I hope you write more novels like Son of the morning!

Summary: One Of Her Best Ever
Review: This is one of the best books out right now. I would recommend it for passion, mystery and suspense in that order. Out of her last three books, this one is the keeper.

Summary: Love This Writer & I Love Her 'Psycho Killer' Hehehe...
Review: ... this is a wonderful story that I read one night when Fred (my husband) had to work all night...

I threw a log on the fireplace and went crazy. The next thing I knew I had the beejesus scared out of me as Fred put his key into the front doorlock and tried to get in...The time went that quickly!

I'm a huge fan of Ms. Howard and I love all her books!

All of them are loaded with action, romance, and tons of suspensful intrigue!

Summary: Dying for the Next One!
Review: Linda Howard is an excellent writer and doesn't disappoint with "Dying to Please." I love the bodyguard/butler concept. The female protagonist is interesting and fun. The dialogue the best. The plot excellent! The alpha male, well, alpha but earthy! I won't detail the book, as that's been done before, but suffice to say it's great!

Summary: Linda Howard, Dying to Please
Review: I have been a fan of Linda Howard, but I feel in her recent book that she is putting too much emphasis on sex and forgetting that the main focus should be on the story. I will think twice before I buy a hardcover book of hers again.

Summary: Linda Howard has done it again!!!!!!
Review: I am a great fan of Linda Howard. I love her books, I became obsessed with her from "Duncan's Bride". I just loved that book. No one writes like her. "Dying to Please" is yet another suspense novel. I must say that at first I didn't think that I could get into another supense drama, but once it had LH on the cover I was sold.

"Dying to Please" was great, the hero and heroine sizzled together. The chemistry between these two HOT!! I will agree that the bad guy kinda took away from the romance of the book, but once again LH has outdone herself. This book I finished in one day. It was that good. What I like most about the book, or should I say about LH books, is her characters, they always have such depth and realism. Sarah and Cahill were great together. I wish the book was longer, and that it ended differently. I hated that Sarah was a suspect...and that Cahill even for a moment doubted her....I felt her pain and anguish. I would like LH to take a break from the suspence drama and go back to writing books like, "Duncan's Bride", "Loving Evangeline", and my all time favorite, "Lady of the West". All I have to say is if LH keeps writing like this she will have a fan in me for LIFE!!!

GREAT BOOK!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LINDA!
