Summary: Celebrate Your Life - Buy This Book
Review: Stand Up for Your Life is Cheryl Richardson's best book yet! Each chapter - based on an eloquent and pivotal concept - truly challenges and inspires the reader to take a bite out of life. I feel like Cheryl is my own personal coach encouraging me to be the best me I can be! The "Build Your Courage Muscles" chapter hit home the most! I have actually stepped out of my comfort zone, pushed my boundaries in the world and have never felt more vital and alive. Everything is better - my marriage, my work, my fitness, my friendships, my private time - all because I am finally willing to embody my own strength and honesty. Buy this book if you are longing to crack your world open and discover a new empowered you who plunges into a challenge with the courage to fly higher than ever before. Trust me - if Cheryl can't light a fire under you, no one can :)))

Summary: Amazing Book!
Review: Stand Up for Your Life is the best book I have read in ages on learning how to build up your back bone and stick up for your yourself while maintaining your values. Excellent read - I've bought several as gifts to my friends!

Summary: Just in the nick of time!
Review: This book came into my life just in the nick of time. Life is funny...just when I needed it most, a friend gave me the book. I had seen Cheryl Richardson on Oprah a few times and was impressed with how she cut through the excuses and myths we all use to justify why we don't do what we know we should do. So, I hoped the book would be as good...and it is!

Summary: Nothing More than a Super Check list
Review: This book is a huge disappointment!! Cheryl begins the book by telling us a story of her crying over a cartoon. Pleeeesse!! Further in the book Cheryl is crying again and in the last part of the book the tears keep flowing. All of this makes this a sad book. Finally, the book is filled with check lists. I don't like writing in my books and sitting and wading throgh question after question to find out what kind of person I am was just stupid. A good story that may make you cry is far better that reading about the author who sheds "tears" while making a boat load of money on book sales. Good grief Charlie Brown!!

Summary: A lot more substance than you might expect...
Review: This book is for those of us who aren't as assertive as we'd like to be, who let our passiveness keep us from enjoying our lives, jobs, and relationships as we should. This book presents a new attitude and is backed by many sound psychological principals.

Summary: CHERYL'S BEST WORK YET!
Review: This book is PHENOMENAL! I have read Cheryl's first two books - Take Time for Your Life and Life Makeovers. Really enjoyed them both. But this one is by far my favorite. It really helps you take ownership of what is not working in your life and gets you on the road to clearing things up. No victim mentality allowed here! I love it!!

Cheryl, if you read this, THANK YOU for the work you do. I have seen you speak, and you are an AMAZING woman who has not only found her passion, but her gift and her purpose. Thank you for following your path and bringing your wisdom to us.

YOU ROCK!!!

Summary: Thanks for the courage
Review: This book was outstanding and a great reference. I LOVE being able to reflect back on my challenges and actions that I have WRITTEN in the book. I highly suggest this book and if you do not get anything from it I would not blame the author.

Summary: Give me Dr. Phil anyday.
Review: Though this three cassette audio version offers some sound ideas, they certainly are not anything worth your changing your life over, I'm not even sure they WOULD change your life. Neither are they anything self-help lovers have not heard before or read before in some fashion. Also, read by the author Cheryl Richardson, these 3 cassettes tend to have a monotone that could lull the poor listener into a coma. On more than a few occasions, I wondered where the author came up with an idea, since in the next paragraph or later on another cassette, she would clearly relate a story of her own life that contradicted the entire idea she presented in the first place. In fairness, Cheryl Richardson makes it clear she was not intending to "practice what she preaches" when she does that, but it just leaves the listener confused. I'm sure this was unintentional, but there's no therapy here folks.

Summary: great!
Review: When I was really young, I used to bet the other children that I could swallow loose change. The most I ever did was 78 cents and one of them was a quarter.
