Summary: good stuff
Review: The X- Wing novels are an exciting, fast paced and easy read. I did not think they were great science fiction, but they were very enjoyable. Stackpole created some new and very interesting characters like Corran Horn and Gavin Darklighter and wove them into the Star Wars universe with great success. There were no boring moments in this series. Just a lot of fun.

Summary: AWESOME BOOK!!
Review: I thought the book was great! I liked how Micheal was able to go into the average rogue life. I also think he did a good job of staying with the story line and working the main characters in with it. Good book! You should read it! Have you read it? Stop reading this and go read it now! Now I said, Now!No stop reading this.

Summary: More than nine lives.
Review: I enjoyed this series very much but found the charmed lives of Rogue squadron to be a bit much. I like my fiction believable. To many characters were killed off and then brought back by some twist of fate. On a positive note I play X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter occasionally and reading the series made me dive back into the online battlefield where I was quickly blown away (where was Horn when I needed him). One last note. DON'T GIVE UP AN EMPIRAL STAR DESTROYER WITHOUT A FIGHT!!!

Summary: Great Book!
Review: I consider this the best of all the Star Wars novels. The action really keeps you riveted to your seat. The plot is pretty clear-cut, so what makes this book stand out is the action. One question though... what the heck happened to the Lusankya during Thawn's ravages? I thought the New Rebublic captured it at the end of this book. Now let me say this again - this is one of the best SW novels, if not the best

Summary: A Great Conclusion To A Great Series
Review: Stackpole has written the best series since Zahn. At first I thought a series that focuses on characters that are not originally part of the Star Wars universe would be horrible. Instead Stackpole was able to create fresh new characters that made reading Star Wars novels as enjoyable as seeing the movies the first time. The action is intense and the story is well written. Stackpole clearly used a strategy that made the novels believable and fun. The climax is what everyone wishes and Stackpole leaves nothing out. This a great series and all Star Wars lovers should read it

Summary: How can You stuff all of that action in one book?
Review: Top quality action all way round. a whole squadron of X- wings try to take over a planet! Unbelievable? THey succedded and boy was it in fashion or what. Read how the Lusankya went down, incredible stuff action is riveting!

Summary: An exciting sequel to the Krytos Trap!
Review: The Bacta War was the most exciting book I have ever read. I have read many books but none compare with The Bacta War written by Michael A. Stackpole. The Bacta War is a book that should be read by adults everywhere

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: THE BEST X-WING BOOK EVER!
Review: No words can describe it! This is indeed the best X-Wing, er, the best Star Wars book I've ever read! Everything's fast-paced, exciting, and you can't put it down even when it's long past midnight! Mr. Stackpole deserves multiple thumbs-up for the entire series! A perfect 10

Summary: A Thriller!
Review: This is THE BEST ending book of any series I've read (well, maybe ROTJ was better.). The Bacta War shows the demise of the main baddies, somthing other books tend to leave out. The space battle scenes were by far the best part of the book.

The non-fighting scenes were great as they developed the storyline quite well. One particuly interesting part was the talk between Talon Karrde and Booster Terrik. That provides a couple of "interesting" chapters.

All things considerd, this is one of the best to have come out. This book is great, but you need to read the others to grasp what some of the charectors are saying.

My advice: Buy It

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best of the X-Wing series!
Review: While I was slow to get into the series, I am sad to see it go. Bacta War is a fitting conclusion to the series. The dog fights are some of the best I have ever read. The moments between the action were captivating. A must-read
