Rating: Summary: Silent Power Review: An excellent book on tape. Well read and gets straight to the point without alot of excessive words! Easy to understand and makes alot of sense even though being silent for alot of us is a challenge. This book on tape adds to my journey in understanding Quantum Theory. You learn how to observe more in life which helps your understanding of others and in turn yourself. For those who don't have much time and don't have time to read, the tape is the easiest quickest way to get started to learning a skill that will help you learn, understand and improve relationships with yourself and others. An excellent book - I have ordered Stuart's 6 tape collection "Developing Your Sixth Sense" to learn other skills in situations that crop up in daily living....Go to your video store and rent "Mind Walk" (a scientist, a politian and a poet get together and discuss Quantum Mechanics). This helped in understanding that we are all linked as one in this great big world ! Understanding brings clarity to humanity and Stuart Wilde teaches us how to take a step towards that understanding.
Rating: Summary: True Enlightenment Review: An exceptional piece of literature that escapes the bounds of other texts. Wilde explains in clear verbage how to grasp this universal power. Once you have this knowledge in your grasp, there is no telling how far you can take it.
Rating: Summary: Essential aspect of Spiritual growth and understanding Review: Another fantastic straight to the point writting by Stuart!
Rating: Summary: A convincing explanation for the etheric Review: Even when we're asleep, the etheric body continues to glow and grow around us, releasing its tentacles into various regions of our psychic space without our even being aware of it. Stuart Wilde masterfully documents how we can take charge not only of our own lives, but of our etheric bodies; he even hints that we might be able to take charge of the etheric bodies of others, people in our lives, who share our homes and cities.
In the future what miracles of understanding may the metaphysics of Stuart Wilde bring us? The novelist DH Lawrence had some hints of it, and the poets like Yeats and Keats have always been connected to the etheric. SILENT POWER is a short book, but well worth buying, like all other HAY HOUSE products. Some of Wilde's Britishisms may grate on the US reader, but he is s skillful stylist and really can sell you on what he's saying.
Rating: Summary: When we master our SELF and control the ego we have POWER Review: I found Stuart's work to really help me learn to look at my ego. Why does it shout so much and why does it want to always lean on others? In this great small book we begin to understand the nature of the ego and learn to calm ourselves down and listen to the inner self. I am a big fan of this powerful writer. He makes his points in such clear and concise language. He really gets to the heart of the reader. I would recommend this book to anyone wishing to rise above "tick tock" and awaken that great inner power in us all... THE SILENT POWER! Peace, Love, Joy, and Blessings to all -RJ
Rating: Summary: Silent Power Review: I found the book to be very enlighting, it did discribe people in my world that I try to avoid. I am one of those 1% of the different people. I see spirts and I can focus into others energy. Don't ask me how I do it , I just do. The book helped me to understand how I am able to see and to understand the method of seeing.

Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: Ok, I agree with about 85% of it... but what I do agree with... is IMPRESSIVE STUFF! Every man should read this book at least once in his life. What an amazing little book this is... EASY to read too. I carried it around for a week and re-read it. Even the parts I don't totally agree with were interesting.
Rating: Summary: total nutcase Review: The author believes in the ancient Greek concept of an omnipresent ether. Around people is their "etheric body", which he can read from a distance and "know" how people are feeling. He can see the "etherics" on people. Even inanimate objects have them. In the right light, you too can see it. It helps if you fast a lot and don't eat meat. And read his other books. There are some real gems in this one. For example, "In effect, physical reality is both opaque and ethereal -- just a collective feeling. You are a feeling. Its only by habit that you consider yourself a solid." Watching strangers in a mall, this simple excercise will let you know their emotional states: "As a person passes you, visualize yourself with an elongated arm. Reach into the person through their center back, and grab a molecule of their feelings from the area of the heart... just ask yourself: How do they feel? The first answer that jumps into your mind is the correct one." I enjoyed the first few chapters of this book. It reminds me to take care in what I say and how I carry myself, and I will now be more aware of the psychological "leanings" of myself and others. The rest of the book is for people who aspire to shave their heads and sell flowers at airports.
Rating: Summary: Keeping your power... Review: This is an excellent book. Wilde discusses the tendency of people to get energy from sources other than themselves, causing them to "lean" psychologically. He gives advice for learning not to "lean" on others and protecting yourself against energy drainers. Ever been around a person and then, after only a few minutes of conversation, felt exhausted? Wilde's wit is wonderful. He is concise, making his books nice reads. Oftentimes, writers in this type of subject area have a tendency to confuse with grandiose yet vague ideas. Not so with Stuart Wilde! I would also recommend Sixth Sense by the same author.
