Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: a very good plot Review: What an idea! A chance to trade bodies and be human again. But how could Lestat with all his experience not see it coming, the body thief, of course, wouldn't give him back his body! No, no, I'm not telling the plot. It's great fun, can't let it out of your hands, you feel excited with Lestat as he rediscovers all the usual human things, you feel desperate when he feels desperate, you feel everything, Anne Rice is a great writter. Read and you'll see this.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: lestat human? Review: I never thought that I would See Lestat do this be mortal again and so out of touch with the world and forgetting what it is like to be human Although I guess being a vampire for a few hundred years will do that to you The ending is great and the warning from Lestat in chapter 32 is excellent I would love to see a movie about this
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: My favorite Ann Rice book of all time...!! Review: This is byfar her best that I've read. Great characters (as always), awesome storyline, and it keeps you enthralled until the very end...!! Excellent...!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Still the Best Review: I marveled at the complexity of this novel. Although I finished in in one and a quarter days, I had to read it again to soak up the details and plots in the novel.
As Lestat thinks it is horrible to be mortal again, I examine my life and compare it to his. In my opinion, I really wish vampires were real and that I could be a vampire. It is kinda pathetic of me, but hey: look at it this way. Right now I have a cold that persists on staying, I can't fly, I need food a lot, and it would just be so amazing to live so long and experience the world anew.
Even at the beginning when Lestat attempts to commit suicide, I knew he really wouldn't actually want to die. He loves himself too much. Hey, I love him also, so how can he resist? He really is irrisistible...*sigh* Sooooooooooo HOT!!!!
This is my third favourite after Blood Canticle and The Queen of the Damned. Anyhow, it was a great novel to be cherished in my heart forever.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Another Anne Rice hit! Review: I read this book in 2 days and 1 night. It was extremely interesting and gripping. The whole idea that Lestat could become human again was very fascinating and got me crazy to read it.
I was very pleased, though I had no idea that being human sucks so badly! After reading Lestat's thoughts about all that we do, I kind of took a look at myself and wondered about it too.
Anyway, in this book Lestat pretty much sleeps with whoever he finds interesting for more than a minute. He wants to sleep with David, but David refuses him, though I have no idea why.
Maybe he was ashamed because he was older than Lestat...? Rice still never gave an explanation for it. However, I am glad that someone is still able to refuse the irresistable Lestat.
Lestat goes through a lot of adventures and most of them are not really plesent, but they sure do entertain! And the ending was very inventive and totally unexpected. I enjoyed it immenssly, especially the last part with Lestat and the...*cough*..."new" David ( I don't want to reveal what happens). That made up for them not sleeping together.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: "The Tale of the Body Thief" steals the show. Review: I just finished reading this book last night; overall I thought that is was an exceptional novel. I find the idea of astral projection to be quite fascinating, although I have serious doubts that it can actually be achieved. I found the character of Raglan James to be thoroughly dispicable. Lestat was...Lestat; I'll never get tired of him or the trouble that he manages to get himself into. Just think if you had been a vampire for two centuries and someone approached you, offering a chance to be a mortal again for several days. What would you do? I think that Anne came up with a very interesting concept for this installment of the Vampire Chronicles. The very last chapter of the book was extremely satisfying. I haven't written
much about the actual plot, because I don't want to ruin anything
for anyone.
Keep up the great writing Anne!
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Too Much Review: This book goes into too many details at some moments in the book. You start to wonder when will it get to the point. Yet the ending is really exciting
