Summary: A great book!
Review: This book may seem a bit unrealistic at first with the whole princess thing, but really it helps you realize that looks don't matter and that anyone can be a princess even if your not the prettiest girl around. I'm 13 and i read this book in 2 days because it was so good. I would suggest this to anyone.

Summary: Funny how I forgot most of it
Review: I thought it was a great read. I knew it was cos' I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. But now, coming to think back on the book 2 weeks later, I realize how I've forgot much of the novel and wondering what was so good about it. Is it really that good? But still, it makes a delightful quick read. not the best literature though.

Summary: SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD
Review: This book was so much fun and my friends and i loved it. Shes just a teenage girl trying to fit in and then finding out she is a princess. That is so stressful and on top of that she is flunking Math and her mom is going out with her math teacher. Then the hotest guy is mean. Other than that it was a pretty happy and funny book.

Summary: Absolutely fabulous.
Review: I confess, I'm a grown-up and not in the target audience for this book, but I figured "what the heck" and read it anyway. Am I glad I did! It was very, very funny and - what's more important - not condescending to young readers. The author does a wonderful job of evoking a teenager's life without sounding like an adult trying to "write hip". And who among us hasn't daydreamed about being a princess?

Mia is a great heroine - smart (except for algebra), funny and easy to relate to. The ONLY complaint I have is that I would love to see young heroines who are GOOD in math - I would have been thrilled to see that Mia's weak point was some liberal arts subject. But I can't even take a star off for that because Mia is computer-literate, which is cool.

P.S. I found my husband hiding in the bedroom, reading this book and giggling hysterically. A winner for the whole family! I can't wait 'til my daughter is old enough to enjoy it too.

Summary: Hilarious! I loved it!
Review: Mia Thermopolis, a freshman in New York City, is the biggest freak in Albert Einstein High School. Literally! She has triangle shaped hair, she's flunking algebra, she's too tall and her mother is dating her algebra teacher! To top it all off, Mia's father gets cancer and tells Mia that she is the heir to the throne of Genovia. As if Mia doesn't need to be more of a freak, right? Mia's Grandmere makes her take "princess lessons" which are part of the deal that Mia has to make with her dad.Mia absolutely HATES princess lessons and wishes she could squirm out of it.Mia gets a new makeover and looks like a whole different person. This book was sooo funny, I burst out laughing so many times! Mia is a very comical character!

Summary: The Princess Dairies-A Great Read
Review: So if you have seen the movie and liked it you should really read this book. It is different from the movie but it follows the same plot. I read this book really quickly because I liked it so much. It's about this girl who is not into makeup or anyother girlie kind of thing. She does like this one boy though. Here father comes in town and tells her that she is a princess of a small country in Europe. She keeps this a secret to everyone outside her family. She has to go to princess lessons. The whole school finds out and she becomes really popular. Then, the boy she has liked asks her to a dance but only likes her because she is a princess. She got in a fight with her best friend and she finds another friend. To know the ending you will have to read the book. It is really good. I haven't read the second one yet but I am planning to.

Summary: The Princess Diaries
Review: This was a great book, I really enjoyed how we felt and saw the Same feelings that Mia experienced. It really made me think about how being a princess would feel like. I also learned how annoying the press can be. It is a great book about a teenage gril just trying to get through the day. It shows her Secret Admirer, her crush and other people who she liked or had problems with. She showed how freindships are not always perfect and how you can solve them. This was my favorite book that I ever read!

Summary: look out J.K Rowling!
Review: This book is really good. I got it for my birthday and thought it was one of those cheesy novels that adults beg you to read, but when I read it I realized I had found my all-time favorite book. This book really gives you food for the thought. You are thinking what you would do in Mia's position when you suddenly wonder if Genovia is a real place and you get cought red handed drooling over an atlas. That would be humiliating! Still, this is a fun, entertaining read, and I reccomend it very higly for long trips and waiting rooms

Summary: One of my faves
Review: the princess diaries is one of the best books ive ever read, mia doesnt know shes a princess, and i love the way she thinks, its too hillarious. when she finds out shes a princess, her charactor doesnt change and become a spoiled little princess, she stays down to earth, and tackles the many problems of normal teens.

Summary: Excellent
Review: I have read both this book and the follow up... It is such a good book! If you have seen the movie, I recommend reading the book because it is so much better! A lot of stuff happens in the movie that doesn't happen in the book, and vice versa! Overall this was an excellent reading experience! Read it!
