Rating: Summary: I'M GLAD I DIDNT GIVE UP ON THE QUINN BROTHERS! Review: IT WAS MY FAULT FOR STARTING WITH INNER HARBOR AND THEN CHESAPEAKE BLUE. (WHICH I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH UNTIL NOW!) I COMPLAINED IN THE OTHER BOOKS ABOUT NOT HAVING ENOUGH INFORMATION ABOUT THE PERSON THE BOOK WAS ABOUT, BUT IF YOU START WITH THIS BOOK IT FLOWS VERY WELL. IT'S GOTTEN EVEN BETTER BECAUSE AS SOON AS I FINISHED WITH THIS BOOK I WENT OUT AND GOT RISING TIDES, WHICH BY THE WAY IS EXCELLENT!!! I DO HAVE TO SAY THAT CAM AND ANNA ARE MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS. I THINK THEY WORK VERY WELL TOGETHER IN EVERY DEPARTMENT. BEING ADOPTED MYSELF I KNOW THE SPECIAL BOND THAT YOU HAVE WITH THE PARENTS THAT LITERALLY SAVED YOU FROM YOUR MISERY. IT IS VERY TOUCHING TO SEE ALL THE BROTHERS SHOWING THE LOVE THEY HAVE FOR EACH OTHER AND FOR SETH. THIS TRILOGY IS SO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Rating: Summary: Simply Breathtaking!! Review: It's amazing how well Nora Roberts tells a story. I am a big fan of Nora's trilogies. This story of Cameron, Anna, Seth and the entire Quinn family just tugged on my heart strings. It was easy to picture the three main characters struggle with and ultimately lose the battle against falling for one another.
Rating: Summary: All the elements of a great story Review: Nora Roberts has somehow managed to combine the best elements of what I consider to be a great story into this one book. Sea Swept has romance, family togetherness, siblings bonding, and so much more. The three Quinn brothers, plus their newest sibling, Seth, all adopted by Stella and Ray Quinn, seem to be so different in personalities that you wonder how they manage to stay together under one roof without killing each other! There is some really humorous writing in this book, I especially like the part when they were in the car on their way to the shops, or how the other two brothers call Cameron `Mummy' because he has to do the housework. I love stories where brothers fight all the time and these brothers are a classic right from the start. Their relationship with the youngest brother that has been adopted by their father is also really touching to read. I'd recommend fans of romance not to miss out on this trilogy. It is an extremely wonderful and satisfying read.
Rating: Summary: Not-so-Swept-Away Review: Nora Roberts is a terrific romance / mystery writer; however, this novel is not one of her best. I usually have no trouble getting caught up in her stories and characters, but this one left me flat. The characters were dull and what little mystery there was didn't pull me in. This one took work to finish. It is a weak start to her trilogy. Her other good stories have me expecting better from her.
Rating: Summary: Kept me interested Review: Nora Roberts was new to me as an author. I look forward to more of her work. This is a story mainly about three brothers and their attempts to raise a fourth. As I read I often saw one of my own brothers and all of my sons portrayed from time to time. Nora hit home when it come to a house full of men. I often chuckled and was occasionally brought up short thinking about my own family. I have read the second book in this trilogy targeting Ethan in this ongoing struggle with the ten year old. Loved it also. I am trying to find the third story regarding Philip so I can complete the saga.
Rating: Summary: ~THE MIGHTY QUINNS!!!~ Review: Once again Nora Roberts has convinced me that she really knows how to tell a good story and keep you so connected with the characters that you feel a kinship with them. I purchased all three books in this series and let them set on my shelf for six months before I picked them up. That was all it took! After the first chapter I was hooked. The hook wasn't removed for three days(that's when I finished the last book). The stories revolve around the three adopted sons of Raymond and Stella Quinn. Cameron, Ethan and Phillip. When each boy was adopted, they had less than normal childhoods but found the meaning of true love and family with Raymond and Stella. On his deathbed, Raymond tells his three sons, now grown, to take care of Seth, the latest child to be adopted by the then widowed Raymond Quinn. Rumors start about the true parentage of the boy almost immediately after the elder Quinn's death, but the three older sons are determined to fulfill their fathers last wish at any cost. The spirit of Raymond Quinn, along with three beautiful women adds romance and humor to this wonderful story. Get ready for a book reading marathon. After the first book you will not be able to rest until you read the other two. Do like I did buy all three at once and lock yourself in for a very exciting read! A trilogy you will want to read over again. Rising Tides, Sea Swept and Inner Harbor.
Rating: Summary: A series of three books you CANNOT miss Review: Once you have read the first book you have to go on to the other remaining two books. The Quinn brothers and their stories will touch your heart. Nora Roberts really out did herself on this series. Every word is worth the read.
Rating: Summary: Moving! Review: Sea Swept by Nora Roberts was such a moving story. A powerful family of brothers. Fun series. Look forward to the next in this series.

Rating: Summary: Buy all three books in the trilogy together Review: Sea Swept is the first book in the Chesapeake series. I intended only to buy Sea Swept, rather than all three books in the trilogy, because I wasn't thrilled with the last Roberts' trilogy that I read. My friend talked me into buying all three and I am so glad she did. I couldn't put them down and read them in quick succession. The backstory, three juvenile delinquents adopted into the same family, is very intriguing. A new boy has been adopted, the adoptive parents are both dead, and the three brothers must join forces to save this child. The hero and heroine, Cam and Anna, are vibrant, strong, exciting characters and the romance between them is charming. Cam's relationship with Seth, the new little brother, is very sweet and touching.
