Summary: Good book, but not her best
Review: "The Kiss" is a very good book, although not Danielle Steel's best. The characters were well developed, but the storyline seemed to speed through time. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others. I am looking forward to Steel's next book. :)

Summary: Pretty good
Review: A good read to pass the time. Not her best but still pretty good.

Summary: Not one of her best
Review: Although I have always admired Danielle's writing ability, I found this to be one of my least favorites. The story was good and admittedly tugs at your heartstrings from time to time, but it's a long time in getting you there. By the end of the book, I was so frustrated with the endless discriptions of the disfunctional characters that I was actually happy to see this one come to an end.

Summary: Danielle does it again!
Review: An exciting thriller penned by one of today's most exciting writer, this is Danielle Steele at her best. Steele's prose is fluid, her plot exciting, and her characters solid! (If you liked this, I would also recommend "Legacy" by Christopher Jones. It's a spoof of Southern family saga novels, and it will keep you laughing right up until the end.)

Summary: The KIss
Review: Another romantic novel by Danielle Steele... this time the setting is Europe. Isabelle Forrester is stuck in a miserable marriage with a wealthy and obnoxious French man who treats her really bad. Bill Robinson is stuck in a life-less marriage to a wife who does not care about him. The two come together and over time fall madly in love. One night in England, together in a limousine, they give each other a breath-taking and long-lasting kiss. The kiss turns out to be a life-changing event for both of them...

A moving story with a happy ending!

Summary: Doesn't disappoint
Review: At a time in our history when we're all on edge, it was a relief to pick up Danielle Steel's "The Kiss". It was a dependable storyline with a happy ending and took me back to "the good old days" before September 11th when you could get lost in a book and just enjoy the day.

If you like Danielle Steel (and I do), her books will never disappoint. You know what you're going to get and she delivers every time.

Enjoy and take a few hours of relaxing time.

Summary: Boring!
Review: Being an avid D.S. reader for years, this book has been a disappointment. That wasn't too surprising since all her recent books were bad. The Kiss repeated itself over and over so much. Isabelle's character got annoying since she was so weak and kept on defending her husband. I wanted to slap her after awhile. I think in the future, I'll just read the summary of the book on the flaps. I'll probably get just as much doing that than reading the entire book.

Summary: Unforgettable
Review: Bill and Isabelle are best friends and soul mates, both caught in empty, loveless marriages, who carry on a phone relationship for years until they decide to meet in London, where they confess their love for each other. Just as they share their first kiss in the back of a limo, they are nearly killed in a devastating accident. Sounds pretty typical for a Steel novel, except that this time around there are some new twists, particularly in how she deals with near-death experiences, and a lot more emotion packed in. There are some minor contrivances and conveniences, such as the shared hospital room, the absences of their spouses, and the much too speedy recovery of Isabelle, after having nearly every internal organ crushed and being in a coma for weeks. But I went with it because I fell in love with those two and that's who we're rooting for, after all. Bill, however, has much bigger problems, having lost the use of his legs, and he makes some agonizing decisions that I swear hurt me more than Isabelle. I easily cried during the last twenty pages of this book, and I honestly could not predict what would happen, all the way up to the last page. But I turned every page in between, foregoing food and water and trips to the bathroom, just to get to the last page. I couldn't help it. This is an unforgettable novel with unforgettable characters and Steel fans will not be disappointed.

Summary: Danielle Has Another Hit
Review: Danielle has improve greatly since the last previous book. The Story of Bill and Isabelle was treated with dignity and class. With realistic plot setting and storyline. It was poignatic and very refreshing. The ending was nicely done as well.

Summary: Touches the Heart
Review: Danielle Steel has done it again this book is wonderful from the start to the end. It will touch your heart and bring tears to your eyes. You will love every minute of it!
