Rating: Summary: Not as good as the lawsuit... Review: But, judging from the plaintiff's complaint against O'Reilly, I can see where he got the shower scene in the book.
Rating: Summary: So horrendous it's enjoyable Review: Check out Mr. "Looking out for you" as he looks out for his lady in the following attempt at erotic fiction, quoted straight from the book:"Ashley was now wearing only brief white panties. She had signaled her desire by removing her shirt and skirt, and by leaning back on the couch. She closed her eyes, concentrating on nothing but Shannon's tongue and lips. He gently teased her by licking the areas around her most sensitive erogenous zone. Then he slipped her panties down her legs and, within seconds, his tongue was inside her, moving rapidly." Oh my! She "signaled her desire" by taking off all her clothes? That's a quite a signal - how did O'Shannon interpret it so correctly? Guess he figured she had entered the "no spin" zone!
Rating: Summary: the best novel in a long time! Review: Even though this book came out almovst ten years ago it is the best novel in a long time. O'reilly tells it like it is of course. Very believable characters and scenes. Even though its fiction its also very true. This story talks a lot about the Clintons and proves how stupid they are. I'll even bet the Clinton's are the ones along with John Kerry who made up this whole sex scandal thing to make O'Reilly look bad. The whole sex scandal thing is a joke because everybody knows that O'Reilly is a Christian and would never do these things accused of. As a Christian would he engage in any kind of sexual harrassment? Obviously not. That just proves the whole point that he is innocent. The liberals are just mad because this book makes them look stupid and dumb, which they are.
Rating: Summary: O'Reilly: bad porn writer? Review: Here is an excerpt from this book: "Ashley was now wearing only brief white panties. She had signaled her desire by removing her shirt and skirt, and by leaning back on the couch. She closed her eyes, concentrating on nothing but Shannon's tongue and lips. He gently teased her by licking the areas around her most sensitive erogenous zone. Then he slipped her panties down her legs and, within seconds, his tongue was inside her, moving rapidly." Yup. Bill O'Reilly, the literary master of cunnilingus. This is perhaps the most hilarious thing I have ever read in my entire life.
Rating: Summary: Those Who Trespass Review: I am a huge fan of Bill O'Reilly. I have read all of his books. Those Who Trespass is a fast reader. You figure out who the murderer is in chapter two. It didn't keep me on edge while reading it. I read alot of mysteries and Bill isn't a mystery writer.
Rating: Summary: A schlock masterpiece. Review: I bought this book for one of my friends for Christmas, after reading Al Franken's wonderful Lies and the Lying Liars. I was an English major at college and therefore feel qualified in making the following call: This is the single worst book I have ever read. Of course, I have also spent half my life watching Mystery Science Theater 3000, so I also feel qualified in recommending this book. It is so brutally awful (not to mention hypocritical of O'Reilly's anti-violence message - the end sequence is horrifically graphic) that I laughed almost every page. The plot is hamhanded and transparent, but you can tell that he's really *trying*, which makes it even better. If you're into schlock, this book is recommended on the same plane as Plan 9 From Outer Space is recommended for schlock film. Do the world a favor, though, and order it from half.com or something so that O'Reilly's sales rank doesn't get as bloated as his ego.
Rating: Summary: Now like Geraldo Review: I DID like Mr. O'Reilly. I even was fine with the former tabloid job that got him a "real" journalist position. But this book takes it all back. He is trying to be mainstream by writing a thriller and be a political spokesman at the same time. We don't take Geraldo seriously because he was a talk-show host, and yet Mr. O'Reilly thinks that he can write this and still hold onto his credibility? I don't see how. Just because he says that this is not for the kids does not make this book unhypocritical. Those who live in glass houses. . .
Rating: Summary: I Hate Bill O'Reilly Review: I don't always agree with his views but he sure can write a book. I am Stuart Woods and Tom Clancy fan, but come midnight I can always put them down. Thanks for a night were I can not put your book down, cause it is so good. By the way find away to meet in the middle of the road with your views. Rating: Summary: Is this review helpful? Review: I find the reviews as interesting as the book. Even more so, the poll on the reviews. As you read the reviews, you will quickly see a trend. If you accept O'Reilly, you find the reviews helpful. If you don't like O'Reilly, you vote the review as unhelpful. I tend to ignore any review of one star or five stars. These most likely come from those who would like to kill his pet dog or those who would like to kiss his face. Right now those who would like to kill his dog are wining. Isn't it nice we have so many tolerant people in the world. Everyone is shouting but very few are listening and fewer than that are considering differing opinions. This is the sad state of society today. As far as the book goes, it may lack in literary grace but the point is the insight into the world of TV news. It goes deeper than the pretty face we see on our TV screens. O'Reilly makes the point that there is an ugly face beneath the mask. If you want to gain an insight into a business, especially one you may be thinking about going into, this story might interest you. For those of you who just want to slam O'Reilly, please find another way of expressing your "pithy" comments and do not use the neutral territory of Amazon.Com
Rating: Summary: Novel from a lying journalist? hmm... Review: I got this book as a gift. First of all, I was curious whether the author is that Bill O'Reilly (It was). This was indeed the worst fiction of all time, tied with "the Campaign" by M.T.Quayle, et al.Indeed, it was so bad that I recycled the gift at the first chance. At least this time "O'Really" have an excuse to lie this time. If I had to draw a conclusion from this novel, I'd say that the murderer 's character is actually based on Billy boy himself.
