Summary: Prepare to learn a lesson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I thought of this but as a real lesson in modernate life. While reading this book i found that we waste our lives worring about what everyone else thought of us instead of being ourselves. This book was one that got me to think of why am i always thinking about what everyone thinks instaed of living life like it's suppose to be instaed of how we hope it is going to be. Stargirl shows her kindness by singing happy birthday, cheering for the other basketball team. This was a book that really got me thinking and it should do the same for you.

Summary: Stargirl
Review: I thought the book was pretty good. I liked the way Jerry Spinelli showed us that being different can be good and bad. I liked some of the humor especialy the joke about the guy who danced with Stargirl at the end. Again, I think the book was great and some of my class is waiting for a sequal.

Summary: Appreciating the beat of a different drummer
Review: Ostensibly about Stargirl's effect on Mica High and how difficult it is to be different in a world that demands conformity, Spinelli's story delves deep into Leo's loss and growing self-awareness when he cannot fully accept Stargirl as she is and loses her as a result. For Leo, this recognition of the immense gift he had been offered -- and rejected -- is his first step to maturity. His life will be forever changed (as were the others in Mica High) by having shared a world, however briefly, that was enriched by Stargirl's presence.

As an adult gazing backward to the agonies of those high school years, I wish I had known a Stargirl. Heck, I wish I'd been a Stargirl. I was deeply moved by Spinelli's book and the late John Ritter's reading of the audio version is just wonderful.

Summary: stargirl
Review: Stargirl is a "different" type of book. Jerry Spinelli wrote this book to make it so that stargirl, as she calls herself, seems to be a different person, but in a unique way. She comes to Mica High where she grasps everyone's attention by being a "cool" girl. She caught Leo Borlock's eye with just one smile. He and everyone else in the crowd really liked her, everything about her. At the beginning. Then everyone's opinion was changed when a few incidents occurred. Leo didn't know what to do, go with the crowd or go with his crush. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys really good books. From when you pick up the book and look at the cover until when you finish the book you will enjoy. I think Spinelli wrote the book because she wants to tell people it is okay to be different. People will think it is "cool" to be different. So be the person that you are inside and don't change your self for anyone!

Summary: star
Review: Jerry Spenelli is at it again in the book Stargirl. From the day she arrives at quiet Mica High in a burst of spirit and color, the hallways silent approch of her. She captures Leo Borlock's heart in just one whole period, lunch. She sparkeled with school-spirit with just one cheer. The students of Mica High are amazed. Well at first. Then things start to go down, rommers and you know teenage things. My favorite line as Spinelli decribed her was "She was exulise. She was today. She was tomarrow. She was the faintest sent of cactus flower, the flitting shadow of an elf owl. We didn't know what to make of her. In our mindswe tried to pin her to the corkboard like a butterfly, but the pin merely went through and away she flew,"

Summary: Girl who has taught alot
Review: Stargirl at first was veiwed as an outcast that no one wanted to get to know. She had been home schooled before, and no one knew what to think. People became mor friendly tward her and started to accept her. That was until she joined the cheerleading squard and would cheer for the other team. She got unpopular near the middle of the year and her only friend was a kid named Leo Borlock, her boyfriend. She would go to enchanted places and helped others. THere is a huge lesson to be learned from this book. I would recommend this to anyone of any age. It teaches you to have self:confidence to do and wear what you want and what you feel is you. I love when Spinelli decribed her as "She was exlusive. She was today. She was tommarow. She was the faintest sent of cactus flower, the flitting shadow of an elf owl. We did not know what to maker of her. In our minds we tried to pin her to the corkboard like a butterfly, but the pin merely went through and away she flew," She was amazing and tought a lot to many people.
