Summary: Stargirl=My Life
Review: I LOVE STARGIRL! Stargirl has an amazing ora that makes everyone feel like her best friend. I was enchanted by the magic of the ukellele when she sings on my birthday in the cafeteria. Whenever I feel alone and like I have no friends I turn to Stargirl and she helps me get through my day. READ THIS BOOK! READ THIS BOOK! I have a crush on Leo, and the rat made the book. After reading the book I went out to the local pet store and bought a pet rat and named it cinnemin and got a cactus in my backyard. Her stalkerish ways make me delighted. The truth is that without Stargirl I would be noone.

Summary: Star Girl
Review: If you are a girl and you are the ages of about 13-17, then this is the book for you! The book I read was called Star Girl, written by Jerry Spinelli. It was one of the greatest fiction books I have ever read. This srory takes place in Mica, Arizona. Star Girl, the main character, is the "new girl" at Mica High. And as the new girl she is treated differently. But she is also very different then girls in the 10th grade. I would say that Star Girl is a very "bubbly" person. It's funny when she joins cheerleading and and cheers for everyone, and even the other teams! She does other weird stuff like going to peoples funerals that she doesn't even know. Everyone makes fun of her by the way she dresses and acts. Sometimes at lunch, she will get her ukelele out and just start playing it! She changes the way people at her school act and think. She dances when theres no music and laughs when theres no jokes. She makes a good friend named Leo, who is a lot like her in many different ways. He never knows what she is going to do next. He helps her get use to her new life at Mica High. Like most teens her age, she also has a problem with wanting to fit in with the popular crowd. There is always a leader of those kinds of people and in this case her name is Amber. I think I have a lot in common with Star Girl. So this book was great. The author, Jerry Spinelli, keeps you interested the whole time! There was never a boreing chapter in this book. I would recomend all teens to read this book, it gives a good understanding and outlook on how being the "weird new girl" really is. Read it!

Summary: Stargirl and insight
Review: I was drawn to read Stargirl because of the cover; it was different, much like the character of Stargirl. The book interested me, but it was cliche and the events written about in much the same way as other authors. Stargirl, as a character, helped this much, because very rarely to you get to read about a character that cares so much about doing good they cannot comprehend the bad. It was a simple read, being a book made for young adults, and perhaps I expected too much because I've experienced all those turning points when I was in high school, but with the original concept of Stargirl it became more engaging. I would offer this book to anyone looking for a book to read for entertainment and a quick lesson in right versus wrong, real love over fair weather love, and the possibility of having no fear to be themselves.

Summary: StarGirl
Review: Star girl is a book about outsiders. The change one misfit can make in a school, and the effects she has on it. People change, things change, ways change all because of her. I think this book can teach anygiven person a lot about life. She brings so many differnt people together for reasons they never thought they would understand. Categorizing terms disappear in one highschool because of a "geek" who makes them all realize while they're all so differnt they are all so similar at the same time. This is a very good book and I recommend it to anyone.

Summary: A book that deserves an A+
Review: This is a very good good book. Probably the best book I have ever read. It is a book that you just can't put down. Every time a chapter ends you just have to read the next one. In some parts of the book it just keeps you guessing. This was such a good book that I read it in one day. I would recomend this book to any 11-13 year old.

Summary: good book
Review: Stargirl is about a tenth grade girl who goes to Mica High School in Arizona. She is a cheerleader who cheers for both teams. Even if the other team would make a basket she would start cheering because that was her personality, to be nice to other people. Her friend Leo who wants her to change into someone who is normal, is her best friend. She isn't normal because she dresses weird and acts very strange. She also changed her name to Stargirl from Susan. Leo ends up getting Stargirl to change by changing her into a normal person with normal clothes and changes her name back to Susan. I would recommend this book to anyone if they were trying to find a good book. It's a good book for anyone my age. I recommend that you read this book called Stargirl!
