Summary: Stargirl- Confusin' and Fun at the Same Time!
Review: I saw the book stargirl at the library and I thought it would be fun to read. The first page threw me off, because I thought you would be seeing the story at Stargirls point of view, but really ur seeing it at her soon to be friends point of view. I think if the story was written from Stargirls point of view the story would be a lot less confusing. If u've read the book u probably know what I mean. All and All the book was confusing, but that's what made it fun to read. I recommend it if ur someone who is or has been very close to someone who's not afraid to show who they are.

Summary: Stargirl......A MUST READ
Review: The book Stargirl was one of the most inspiring novels I have ever read. Stargirl Caraway took MAHS high school by storm. The ukulele, the happy birthday songs, the rat, being home schooled, the pioneer dresses, and her wonderful giving spirit changed MAHS forever. This story is told from a schoolmate's point of view. Stargirl plays her ukulele and sings to people on their birthdays. Stargirl tries out for cheerleading and makes it. She became popular, but not for long. At basketball games she is always cheering, she even cheers for the other team! Stargirl starts getting made fun of at school for being different. Stargirl feels others pains even more than her own. Her giving and heartwarming personality makes this book great. This inspirational and touching novel is a must read for anyone who wishes they could muster up the courage to act a little different.

Summary: Falling Star
Review: This was the worst book I have ever read. Not only was there no plot or climax, it was very silly and pointless. Spinelli tried to make this book very moving and inspirational...hmm...maybe that's why it's not an American classic? I have been more inspired by paintings in museums.
The main character, Stargirl, was not believable at all. She was very immature for a high schooler and reminded me of a three-year old. Everything she did was random, also. She had her own special place in the Arizona Desert, which was supposed to be meaningful in the story, but it didn't make much sense. She also tried to go do nice things for people, which is sweet, but hard to believe. A friend of mine, who disliked the book also, put it simply: "The whole teenage-insecurities thing." I had to read this book for school, and I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone that doesn't have to read it.

Summary: Non-conformists rule the world in Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
Review: Stargirl is about a girl who is as strange as they come. The ukelele, the pet rat, and the goofy clothes- it's all to weird for the kids at her new school. Read about her struggle with her new-found friend, Leo, as she finds that when she is herself, she will make an impact because NON-CONFORMISTS RULE THE WORLD!!!!!!!

Summary: Unique and Heartwarming
Review: This was a fun novel about real school how people are treated and how some act this novel was from an aclaimed young writing author it was fresh and funny about a girl who doesn't seem to fit in at her school it would happen to b because of the large odd instrument she carries around at lunch and sings to people on their birthday with or the outrageous clothes she wears. What will happen to stargirl will she become the most popular girl in school or will she end up in the hot seat?

Summary: A great story about being yourself....
Review: ... I'm not too big a fan of Jerri Spinelli, but after reading Stargirl my views changed. ... I know from experience that being different is hard to do when your around people who wear the same things, listen to the same music, talk the same way, and all want to be accepted among their peers. I mean who really doesn't care about what other people think? Stargirl thats who. The book is told from the point of view of Leo Borlock a boy who falls in love with Stargirl. Everyone at first loves Stargirl, shes so different: her clothes, her attitude, her questions, her hair, her pet rat Cinnamon, and *gasp* her make-up free face! After a while though, people start resenting her non-comformity. Leo tries to change Stargirl, but he soon realizes that, while he may be happy, Stargirl is miserable. I think Stargirl is someone we all want to be, but we're too afraid to let that part of us show. I loved this book and I highly recommend it to any guy/girl ages 11 and up.

Summary: Stargirl is among the stars!
Review: Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli is a great book! At first when I saw it I was like "oooooook not gonna like this one" but after picking it up I cuoldn't stop reading!! Summary: Not the greatest, but its entertaining, tho small...
Review: It didn't exactly make me love it, and it didn't leave me so touched i was choked up either. But i will say the ending did touch me... though the ending was a little disappointing also.(Im a romantic and i was hoping Leo and Stargirl we would marry but i was saddened that it was not so) I really don't have much to say about this book and for someone like me, a fast reader who likes thick books that will last longer, i read it in about 4 hours(not that much time really)... but oh well. a book that is a memorable something to munch on when you're waiting on another book or u need something to do. One thing i will say. If only there were more Stargirls...

Summary: Okay if you're trying to go to sleep
Review: All in all, I didn't really like this book much. Most times it dragged slowly and other times it sped up and satisfied me.
