Summary: Some Thoughts on "Past Lives, Future Healing"
Review: This book, as all of Sylvia's books, is a fascinating read. The information about cell memory has the ring of spiritual and physical truth to it. I believe Sylvia Browne to be a humanitarian filled with love for people. However....the historical inaccuracy regarding executions of "witches" in old Salem, MA in this and one of Sylvia's other books REALLY BUGS ME. Hasn't her publisher and/or editor touched bases with her on this? The poor souls accused in Salem in 1692 were hung, not burned to death. Yes, one Giles Corey was pressed with rocks. I know this from my college courses. Other customers obviously know. I've visited Salem. The client on page 101 says she was burned as a witch in Salem. Really. Smells phony to me. Talk about delusions of grandeur. Is it possible that Sylvia and her regressed client know something the historians don't know? I think this discrepancy casts a small, pale shadow on Sylvia's credibility.

Summary: It is very accurate
Review: This is a good book. The author obviously has experienced Samadhi. Another good book is 'Autobiography of a Yogi', by Pramahansa Yoganananda.

Summary: Wonderful book as usual!
Review: This is a wonderful book full of wonderful stories. I am a new hynotherapist and have tried the cell memory technique on some of my friends. It really works and it is amazing what comes up. Saying the prayer given is a wonderful extension of it. My friend had terrible sores on her legs that the doctors couldn't understand or cure and through the cell memory hypnosis, we located what happened in one of her past lives and her legs are healed. Amazing. She was also able to go to the 'other side'. She was amazed at how peaceful and beautiful it was. Sylvia Browne's books are always uplifting and I think she has an incredible sense of humor. Thank God for her and the informative books she writes.

Summary: Past lives, future healing
Review: This is a wonderful book. As a new and still learning Hypnotherapist, I have tried the methods in her book and they have worked with amazing results. It is not always a past life the person goes to; as in one case of an abusive father. In another case I did, a woman's leg sores were cleared up completely. She was an American Indian hunting a bear in a past life when the bear tore up his legs. He eventually died of the infected leg wounds a few years later. It has been an incredible help to me and several people I have worked with.

Summary: A Hypnotist Tries To Be A Psychic
Review: This is a wonerful book, as all of Sylvia Browne's books are. If you have ever in your life asked the question why do I feel this way or think this way - here is your answer. She unlocks the mystery of how past lives can bleed over into the current life. You may want to read "to the other side and back" first for a good understanding of the big picture, but even if you don't I promis you won't be bored!!

Summary: very very good!
Review: This is my favorite Sylvia Browne book. Its well written and very fascinating. What the people that gave Sylvia a bad review for this book forgot to mention that she has proven literatley thousands of her case studies. Like if a patient claimed to be named whatever and lived in say Boston and and had whatever occupation. She would go and look into public records and find that person, proving they existed. And they also forgot to mention that she is a master hypnotherapist. And how would you guys explain all those people Sylvia cured that were practically incurable?

Summary: Don't listen to reviews re historically incorrect facts
Review: To the people who insist her book is historically incorrect, how do you know that NO ONE was burned in Salem? I mean, NO ONE??? Not one person, at all? Is there proof? It only takes one case to prove this wrong, and to assume that no one, absolutely without a doubt that no one, was burned in Salem is far-fetched. Just because the statement was printed in a history book does not mean it is fact - true for most cases, yes, but not 100% right. Anyone who has taken a math class on this type of theory, making an over-reaching assumption such as this, better have some damn good proof to back it up. That being said, her book is great and very thought-provoking. Please don't be deterred by skeptics grabbing at such a stupid reason to criticize her book, due to a supposed historical fallacy that is very questionable.
