Summary: Get your facts straight, Sylvia, before you write fiction.
Review: First let me state that I am an avid student of the paranormal and have read hundreds of books on the subject, many by honest scientists and others by psychics who do not appear to be just out to make a fast buck. In the chapter in Sylvia's book where the woman is afraid of fire and regressed to a past life in Salem where she is burned at the stake....well, Sylvia, this ruins everything else you say in the book. 43 people were put to death for witchcraft and some were killed in Boston too, as far as I have understood from my delving into this. All were hung except for one, who was crushed to death. No people were burned for witchcraft in America. And the woman in India who was shot to death by another Indian woman - puleeze. Yeah, they had guns in that time, but as my husband explains, they were not easy to use - no little Saturday night specials. Highly unlikely a 16th century Indian woman would kill by that method. She would have used poison or a knife. The whole book is a low class pipe dream.

Summary: A Hypnotist Tries To Be A Psychic
Review: Her book Past Lives, Future Healing is a big joke to me. She is more interested in exercising hypnosis techniques than in using her claimed psychic ability.

Why do we need a spirit guide to tell a client what we need to do in hypnosis? Any good hypnotist should know these skills, anyway.

I also suspect that she never really realized (or could have the guts to admit) that her psychic ability was not advance and she could provide a satisfying service. Therefore, she mentioned in the book, "Psychic as I am, I can't begin to know as clearly as a client's spirit mind knows exactly what pain its memory is holding and where to go to heal it."

Summary: A Must Read for Sylvia Browne Fans!!!
Review: I first became a fan of Sylvia Browne's after seeing her on the Montel Williams show. If you are ever interested in learning more about your past life and how your fears/phobias are affected by them, then this is the book for you. After reading this book, I am enrolling in a course at my nearest Learning Annex to rediscover my past lives. I recommend this book for all Sylvia Browne fans, as well as those with questions about the afterlife/past lives, etc.

Summary: An Incredible Introduction to Past Lives!
Review: I had never really been drawn to Ms. Browne's writing for whatever reason, but after reading this book, I feel compelled to read all of her work. The writing is open, warm and conversational. The stories of past life regressions that the psychic conducted are inspiring and Ms. Browne's discussion of the effect of past lives on our current mental, spiritual, physical and emotional health is fascinating. For me, Sylvia's insights rang true and I finished the book in one evening, excited and full of hope for my future. I also didn't hesitate to try the do-it-yourself regression Sylvia generously outlines in the final portion of the book. I was able to access a former life and later confirmed through research online that my "knowledge" of the geography and history surrounding this former life were spot on! I couldn't have know ANY of these things unless I really, truly had lived there during that time or been an historian - which of course I am not! I will be working with this guided regression for a while to try to dissolve whatever unresolved residue still exists in my spirit mind. If you are at all curious about past lives, get this book! Thank you Sylvia Browne!

Summary: Surprised
Review: I had not read any of Sylvia Browne's books but had covered the same subject matter of many other authers. Sylvia brings a fresh look to the subject without wordiness. I was pleasently surprised, couldn't put the book down and finished it in one day.

Summary: A MIND OPENER (or should I say "Spirit Awakener"?)
Review: I have quickly become a huge Sylvia fan as some of her principles are very close to Neal's "Conversations with God". What I love about Sylvia is her detailed descriptions of the other world and past lives. Neal and her books have been the first things regarding God, Jesus, "the other side"/heaven, that have struck 'true' to me. It's a wonderful book full of inspirational stories and even a tool at the end to help you perform your own past life regression.

Summary: Slyvia is FANTASTIC!!!
Review: I own so many books and tapes of Sylvia's collections. She has changed my life! This book was just another hit with me. I just began to feel better day after day when reading any of her books. And when you can let go of some fears and memory of past lives affecting your present life, things begin to get better. She knows how to touch the soul and positive changes have happened in my life. God Bless you Sylvia and what you have done for so many souls! Love and Light ~ Lisa

Summary: interesting book to read
Review: i own this book and have read all of the reviews online for it and im not going to get into ( the facts ) of it all but this book was a entertaining and interesting book to read despite all the facts people are talking about and wether the historical things she said were true or not. i don't beleive in that many psychics but ive seen sylvia on montell's show and i think she is a good psychic and is very believable at least, but she has said somthing on montell's show that later wasn't true. i mean she predicted somthing and it never came true like she said it would so i dont know what to think about her anymore, all i know is this was a good entertaining book to read and i think you should get it if you beleive in psychics or just like sylvia. she might be fooling the entire world with her so called psychic abilitys or she might be a true psychic with a gift but either way it's a good read. very interesting.

Summary: Very Good!
Review: I've read many of Sylvia's books and I absolutely love her straight forward, no-holds barred way of putting her beliefs out there and to heck with whether anyone agrees or not! I think she is one of the most courageous people I've ever seen. This book delves more deeply into case examples of those who have had physical & emotional/mental problems that traditional medicine couldn't help. Through hypnotic regression, the client touches into lifetimes that relate to the physical symptoms to find *the point of entry* as Sylvia says, for these issues. She goes on to give us helpful suggestions as to how each of us can heal ourselves in this same way. I don't always agree with everything Sylvia presents but I think she's definitely on the right track with this book. I do healing work with clients and will be incorporating her ideas into my work to help people who can't seem to find relief from any other method. Sylvia is careful to say that past-life regression doesn't heal all things all the time. But at least try it first before you assure yourself that it's hooey. Amazing stuff Sylvia!

Summary: Wrong Is Wrong Is Wrong
Review: If the book contains historically inaccurate information that is being presented as "truth," then the book is false. Period! Whether this information somehow "helps" people or not, it still contains wrong information about history and Sylvia went way too far this time by destroying her credibility.
