Summary: slightly flawed
Review: The novel part of it felt slightly off to me. Since we can't use spoilers in reviews, I can't tell you what elements, but they did make the setup to the crisis situation seem improbable at times to me. Otherwise, I learned a lot from this book.

Summary: High amounts of fluffy-feel-good reading
Review: Robert Allen's book falls short on practicality. Almost every book with a title with the word "Millionaire" in it has the same content, fluff, common sense, and a good book of this type will make you feel motivated to do something about your life.
This book is one of the best books of that type.

I never read a book like this for any practical value, because there is never any there. I read it for pleasure and for a mild spark of motivation. There's simply just not much more to get from the book. This is one of the best books of its type, but I can't stand to give any book with so much filler any more than a 3 star rating.

Summary: Fine piece of work.
Review: I felt as if these guys took all the late night infomercials and explained how they worked and how to use these ideas to make millions. Great book. The only difference between you today and you 5 years from now are the people you associate with and the books you read.

6 of us are going to take the challenge and make a million in the next 90 days.

Summary: Interesting concept, but fails to deliver
Review: I had high hopes for this book, or I guess I should say, two books in one. The authors claim that everything you need to become a millionaire is contained within this book. Uh, I don't think so...

There are some useful concepts for sure, and some good advice on "taking the high road" on your way to wealth. But for the most part, it's just rehashed material from other sources. Some of it is straight from "Think and Grow Rich" (they should have credited Napoleon Hill in my opinion) and there are a lot of NLP techniques as well. For me anyway, it was really nothing new.

In fact, I found the fictional story much more interesting than the non-fiction content. I often found myself reading ahead in the fiction story (I actually had two bookmarks - one for each story) and then going back to catch up on the non-fiction content.

I wouldn't say this is a bad book, I was just disappointed with it. The authors promise a lot in the beginning, and then fail to deliver. It's much too general and there are not enough details of how to actually become a millionaire (and again, they claim everything you need is in the book). Of course, you can always go to their web site, where they would be more than happy to sell you all of their other books, tapes, seminars etc. that perhaps contain the information this book is lacking.

Summary: A Most Unusual Book
Review: Love this Book. It is actually two books in one. A Novel and a text book. Stirs you to action.

Summary: Change your life today
Review: I bought this book on a whim and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The decision became even more enjoyable due to the fact that this is actually two books in one - an enjoyable novel based on a womans struggle to earn $1,000,000 in 90 days combined with a book on how to invest properly in and for your own future. It's well written, thought provoking and a light read - you won't feel burdened reading The One Minute Millionaire.

The book as a whole follows the basic premise of "What if you invested $1 a day for the next 60 years... what would it be worth?" All too often we forget the value of money itself. Not only do we forget the value of money, from childhood, onwards we are often told "money is evil" and "the pursuit of money is greed". The One Minute Millionaire teaches us that money is not evil but is a resource that we can all use to make the lives of those around us better. It's only when we don't share the wealth that money becomes "evil".

I enjoyed every moment of this book and after having read it felt inspired enough to go and pursue my own financial goals. I've cut back on "silly" expenditures (€140 per month), have started my own web based business and started saving money properly. I'm amazed at how this book made me look at my financial life.

I can't recommend The One Minute Millionaire enough. It can help people who spend with no thought (money can burn a hole in my pocket if I don't spend it) to add structure to our lives. For those who are financially better off it can teach you that "giving more is getting more".

Enjoy and I hope you benefit from reading this book as much as I did.

Summary: Gets You Thinking
Review: This book explains the process in the most clear and simple way that I've read to date. It gets you thinking what is possible if you set your mind to it. To become an enlightened millionaire is a different aspiration that just becoming a millionaire alone and I think a it makes the goal all the more worth accomplishing.

Summary: The first book to truly inspire me!
Review: I have read many self-improvement / financial freedom books, but for some reason, this book appeared at the right time and the right place for me. Mark and Robert have broken new ground with the fiction/non-fiction concept, I am now equipped with the theory, but also a vivid visualisation of what I must and will do to become a millionaire. Go for it everyone out there, wealth can be yours!

Summary: I'm On My Way...
Review: After listening to this audio tape, I immediately tapped in to my unused power. Not only is it motivational for everyday living, but continued to support my personal and professional goals as well. I'm currently ordering five additional copies to distribute to my "Dream Team"!

Summary: Positive Thinking and Practical Advice
Review: Something that really stood out for me in the ONE MINUTE MILLIONAIRE was Robert Allen's 4 Steps to Your First Million. The crux of the steps is really just THINKING of your self as a millionaire (i.e., positive thinking, positive dreaming, positive affirmations). He talks about how you have to examine your beliefs about money, imagine yourself with an abundance of wealth, and practice prudence on your way to making it a reality (e.g., put 10% of your income into your investments, get rid of all but 1 credit card, and live on the rest). I absolutely believe he is right.

You have to be positive, imaginative, and practical, and then the sky is the limit. This is one of the simplest and most powerful formulas for success I have encountered. I strive to be positive in my thoughts and I am always looking for good advice and strategies from those who have reached high levels of achievement. This book is a good companion to another of my favorite books, recently published, titled THE ONE-MINUTE GUIDE TO PROSPERITY AND ENLIGHTENMENT by Sri Siva. THE ONE MINUTE GUIDE focuses on how to build and keep a positive mental, emotional, and spiritual attitude in order to achieve BOTH material and spiritual success (e.g., financial gains as well as clarity of mind). It also gives many tools and techniques to practice in order to achieve your dreams. Excellent reading!
