Summary: THE handbook on creating wealth-CARPE DIEM
Review: Multiple Streams of Income is the best results oriented financial book since Charles Givens More Wealth Without Risk with the advantage that MSOI has even more income producing strategies than Givens.

You find find everything you need to know to create cash streams. You will learn how to invest profitably, use Cooper Covered Calls, trade options successfully, invest in real estate, tax liens and discounted mortgages as well as start your own super successful networkmarketing business on a shoestring and create wealth on the internet.

Regarding the 1 star reviews and other reviews "warning" about this book and the techniques, take it for what it's worth. As far as I am concerned, their advice is worth about a nickel, if that. This guy (it really is only one person with a agenda) has way too much free time and perhaps makes too much money spamming and selling names.

Robert Allen on the other hand will teach you how to use the internet profitably and with integrity.

Great book Robert.

Summary: Easy does it...
Review: I think this book is amazing in the way it changes your frame of mind. Sure, it is not for those who want advice how to invest in bonds and stocks but rather a mix of multiple streams of incomes in a broad sense. I just finshed the book two days ago and and re-reading some parts. It is excellent in SHOWING how you can become a millionare. Hats down to the authors...100% worth buying and highly recommended.

Summary: Amazon you need to give more stars. On a scale from 1-5,
Review: This book is at least a 10.

Seriously, I have long been a fan of both Mr. Allen and Mr. Hansen. This book is great. It combines both fiction with non fiction and as a result you have a mega best seller and super book that can create powerful results for people who actually read and use the concepts in the book.

The fictional story is inspiring and really not that far off what others have done. It reminds me of Allens excellent book "The Challenge", how Allen took three people straight out of the unemployment lines. People who were broke and frustrated and showed them how to earn $5,000 in real estate in three months.

So the fictional part is no really so fictional at all. The non fictional part is the best of Allen and Hansen and delivered in a new and exciting way. You'll learn how to use the internet, real estate and n etwork marketing.

Overall, a great book. Inspiritional, motivational and educational. Certaintly better than reading JBQ's antiquated and boring nonsense.

Good book. Highly recommended.

Summary: Follow Michelle - Think like a millionaire
Review: In order to appreciate this book, one has to know what it is really about, and - even more important - what it ISN'T about.

The One Minute Millionaire is not about teaching you the secrets of making loads of money. It is about getting yourself into the right mentality to make loads of money.

The story on the right-hand pages of the book illustrates the point very nicely:

Michelle, a widowed mother, must earn one million dollars in 90 days to gain custody of her children. Unlike most of us, she does not have the luxury of thinking this feat is impossible... Impossible or not, she has no choice but to get the job done within the required time limit. And this lack of choice leads her to an extraordinary adventure of discovering and challanging her own limits.

The story itself is, of-course, fictional, but the lessons the reader learns from the story are very real. After reading it, you'll gain some perspective on what it takes to actually make a million dollars: a great desire, a good team and a lot of guts...

If you have these things, you can become a millionaire. And this book is an excellent guide which will help you get the job done. It would probably take you more then 90 days, but you'll still reach your goal of one million dollars far sooner then you ever thought possible.

Final tip for those who buy the book (and the reason I only gave it 3 stars):

Don't even think about registering at the One Minute Millionaire website. Your inbox would be full of junk mail if you do... and the web "extras" are more confusing then they are useful anyway. Everything you need to know is already present in the book. So just forget about the website, and concentrate on applying the rules and principles given in the book.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Good inspiration, but watch out for the web "extras."
Review: As many people have pointed out in their reviews, this book doesn't tell you HOW to make a million dollars, per se. However, I think if this is what you are looking for, you should instead look at a book on basic personal finances, such as Suze Ormans book which are quite readable.

However, this book does have it's strengths. The strongest of these strengths is what some reviewers have negatively termed the "feel good" aspects of the book. I believe, that beyond a knowledge of basic financial issues, you attitude IS the most important thing in achieving success in ANY project. If you goal is actually to make a million dollars, you have to believe it possible, and believe in yourself. In many ways, fictional stories are the best at this. If this doesn't work for you, there are many stories about how so-and-so made their fortune, or found success. You'll find that the common theme in such stories is that THEY ALL DID IT A DIFFERENT WAY! There isn't a formula, other than believing in what you are doing and working the steps in your personal goal. In the area of inspiration, and the idea of multiple streams of income, this book is quite good.

My MAJOR dissappointment in this book, and reason for the average rating, is due to the fact that if you sign up for the email tips, and web site extras, you basically have sold your name for junk e-mail. I know this to be true since I use a different mail address for anything like this I sign up for. Immediately on signing up for their web extras I was swamped in junk e-mail. That's so dissappointing.

Summary: Encouragement and Hope
Review: As long as the reader understands --upfront-- that no one can REALLY make a million bucks in one minute (at least, not starting from zero), they'll probably enjoy this book, and get a few good pointers from it.

The title isn't deceptive, however. It refers to a BUNCH of minutes that, together, will add up to a bigger bank balance for you and at least a CHANCE that you'll evenually be a millionaire.

Thought the book's financial advice isn't exactly sophisticated (and at times, it is even inaccurate), I think this is still a worthwhile read. Why? Because it offers a lot in the encouragement and hope departments.

Through a series of "Aha Exercises" the authors help readers to BELIEVE that they CAN turn their financial situation around. To me, that's worth the price of admission.

Summary: Not very credible...
Review: For a man who is supposed to have made a fortune in real estate, on the Web, etc. and not just from selling books and stuff talking about it (like "tiny classified ads" man Don Lupre), why in the world would Mr. Allen use a phony story throughout the whole book?? Why not use a REAL LIFE example instead of this poor sap-of-a-woman who had to raise a million bucks with a bunch of her sappy friends??

And what luck... she ran into another chick with with really big connections! Do you know people like that? I don't. Do you have all day, everyday to work like they did on the project? I don't. I've got a family and a full-time six figure job. So, how do WE do it?

Ditch the sappy story and use real-life examples.

Blah.

Summary: I'm keeping the thoughts now
Review: Before I read this book, I wouldn't make room in my psyche for new income streams. Even though I would always think of (what I considered to be) good ways of making money, I'd always dismiss them because I didn't think I had enough time, room or whatever to see them come to fruition.

After reading this book, I realized that these "one minute millionaire moments" are ideas for me to grab ahold of and persue one day. If it's really a good idea and I really want to do it bad enough, one day, I will be able to make it happen.

The part I am really focusing on now, which is really fun, is building the team. I have heard this over and over, but now, I really "get it".

I think the One Minute Millionaire is a book that anyone with a passion to succeed in life should read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great book. Not just a "feel good" book
Review: I have to chuckle when people write reviews on quality books like this great one by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen and refer to it as merely "feel good" stuff. Well, I have to agree. Reading this sort of "feel good stuff" does make me feel good. So good that I went out and made another $10,000 last week.

I will tell you this. I perform much better when I feel good than when I feel lousy.

Good book Mr. Hansen and Mr. Allen. Let's keep those "feel good" books coming so we can keep making money.

And no, I don't give 10% to my church. I give much more than that. I find that the more I give, the more that comes back to me and the more I am blessed.
