Summary: A disappointment
Review: I have never read the princess' diaries b4,but I was sure volume 3 would be fun. While it had the odd humorous part, really the whole thing was very boring.I recommend All American Girl instead.

Summary: Mia Mia
Review: This book was well done but perhaps a bit monationious. These books are very funny and enlighting. This book is a contuination from the last two and she finally gets the man of her dreams, which also happens to be her best friends brother. The book is funny charming and downright zaney. If your looking for a good hearted good read read this, you'll laugh the whole way through.

Summary: Sweet, But Lacking Something...
Review: The first two installments of the delightful "Princess Diaries" series were deliciously funny and sweet, brain candy for literary teens who enjoyed Mia's "smart and incisive" remarks about the frantic life of a new American princess.
The third novel, "Princess in Love," is lacking something.
This novel feels rushed, as if it is simply a prologue to bigger and better things. The next novel will probably cover Mia's introduction to the Genovian public, which is bound to be an exciting and terribly funny read.
This, however.....is not really funny. It is not really charming, either.
The book certainly has its bright spots, and I would give it a solid 3.5 stars (I simply rounded up for convenience). Readers will still be treated to more of Mia's hilarious observations on her life, which is both extraordinary (she is, after all, a princess) and strikingly ordinary (she is, after all, a normal girl beneath her tiara), but some of the zing has gone out of the series. It feels slightly stale, its plot not as wildly bubbly as the plots of the other books.
Perhaps the book has fallen victim to the problem many TV shows face: loss of romantic tension. I hope I'm not giving away too much when I state that in this book, Mia does hook her "Prince Charming" (whose identity should be obvious at this point in the series).
I have seen this happen with many TV shows or series of novels...once the chase is over, what are you left with? You are generally left with two genuinely good people who are so in love that you get the impression that all of the silly blunders they make in front of each other--the blunders that in earlier episodes/novels kept them on pins and needles for weeks--will be forgotten due to the fact that their love is too pure to be sullied by petty mistakes. It actually gets to be pretty boring after a while.
And the worst part? In "Princess in Love," Mia and her "prince" don't publicly confess their true feelings until the very end--but the tension is lost long before this melodramatic conclusion to the uneasy flirtations. You can see the ending a mile away.
If you are a fan of the series thus far, do read the book--if read with lowered expectations, it will suffice.
I'm pretty sure the next novel will be a smashing success, just as the next "Star Wars" film will do some serious tying of loose ends. It's just one of those things I can sense from a mile away.

Summary: Princess in Love
Review: I loved this book!! I saw the movie and loved that also. It is a really good book and it is a good way for girls to learn that they are not alone in life. It is a way to in fulance whom ever reads it to express their fellings.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not as good as the first two.
Review: This book was okay, but it was not as good as the first two books. Mia overreacts in this book over the dumbest little things. She is always complaining about snobby cheerleaders but she is a little brat herself. I didn't think it was as exciting as the first two books. It was still readable and somewhat interesting, though. I just hope the next book is better. I found myself wanting to say, "Get over it Mia, your life is not that bad!" Hopefully she won't be as whiny and pathetic in the next book.

Summary: Great! Although, not best in the series
Review: Princess Diaries volume III, Princess In Love, revolves around Mia's love life. She's finally got a boyfriend, but, she didn't expect it to be Kenny, and 'average' boy. She was leaning towards Michael, her best friend's older brother. So she is with him, what next? Nothing, she doesn't even like him. Throughout this book, Mia explores true love, and at the end, recieves a big surprise.

This book is awesome, but not the best in the series. It is better than book 2, but it can't top book 1. I recommend this book to Princess Diaries fan, and the Angus Thongs Full Frontal Snogging fan. Basically anyone who enjoys a book about teenagers, and their lives, will enjoy Princess In Love.

Summary: If I didn't care about my cats, I'd use this book as litter.
Review: I know very well this book deserves ZERO stars, but that's not allowed, so I guess I'll just say this book got 1 star TOO MANY. Now, about the the STORYLINE: This 9th grader started too early, with everything, I believe. She's bearly out of Middle School amd she's already swearing like a sailor, talking about what guys have ... down there, and crushing cellular phones under her feet. And her cat, Fat Louie? I think this book should be cut up and used in his litterbox. Not in mine though, I care too much about my cats to do that to them. The whole book is ... And it had totally the wrong ending! She doesn't even end up saying she was sorry to her ex bf, Kenny. This book was SO wrong.

Summary: The Best
Review: This is the absolute best of the 3 (so far) Princess Diaries books. As a reader of Romance, Adult Romance, and Christian romance, this is probably THE best book I have read. It was really funny because Lilly kept telling her something and Mia would not listen. I personally liked the ending I have read it 4 times. When I first read the book I read it in 3 hours, better than the first ( 3 days) and the 2nd ( 2 days). I would recommend this book to anyone. Meg is also releasing Princess Diaries 4 Princess, in Waiting, and Princess Diaries 5, Princess Mia and Princess Diaries 6, Forever Princess. Meg is also releasing a book All American Girl. I'm not sure if she is going to release any more Princess Diaries Books or not.

See Yuh!!
