Rating: Summary: Go Mia!!!!! (and Meg Cabot!) Review: This book was extremely good- I really enjoyed hearing the gospel of Mia again! Meg Cabot has created such a realistic and lovable character, that I can't help but sympathize with every ordeal our Royal hero endures...
Rating: Summary: Couldn't put it down!! Review: I bought this book on March 26 (the day it came out) at 7:00am, I finished it in the evening at 6! This only shows how much I enjoyed it!! One thing that I really liked about it was the fact that it tied up a lot of loose ends left inconcluded in the second book, Princess in the Spotlight. I was a bit disapointed with Volume II of the series because there was no closure on a lot of Mia's problems. Now, after reading Volume III, not only did I totally enjoy reading it, but I also have more appreciation for Volume II, Princess in the Spotlight. I'd recommend that you read Volume II and Volume III with in very close time periods of each other as to put some closure on her problems. Princess in Love was a wonderful book and I sincerely enjoyed it. This book, more than any other, reminded me of Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging which is another book I really enjoyed. I think that if you liked the Princess Diaries or any book in the series, this is essential to add to your collection!!
Rating: Summary: Best One Yet Review: This is the best instalment of Princess Mia Thermopolis's diary yet. I am not giving away what happens, but the ending is SO GOOD. This is my favorite book of all time. It is like you are IN the story. I normally don't like to read, but I finished this book in two hours. I can't wait until the next book, Princess in Waiting. Meg Cabot, hurry up and write it!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Even Better than Before Review: I finished PRINCESS IN LOVE this afternoon. My reccomendation? Go read it. Immediately. Unless, of course, you haven't read THE PRINCESS DIARIES and PRINCESS IN THE SPOTLIGHT already, in which case you should read them, and THEN pick up a copy of PRINCESS IN LOVE. You can't have one without another. Certainly the best in the series so far, Meg Cabot delights her audience with an ending that is truly satisfying...somewhat unlike those of the other two. Mia becomes less and less of a "character" as the series continues and more and more of a friend, reminding readers of themselves, (sometimes displaying the quirks and bad habits we all have but try to hide from). The entire PRINCESS DIARIES series is not to be missed, and PRINCESS IN LOVE is just a stellar addition.
Rating: Summary: Mia is back ...with a happily ever after ending Review: OK, Mia Thermopalis is sure, once again, that her life is over. This time, it's not because she's the heir to the throne of Genovia, whose people she must be introduced to on Christmas, or because her mom is pregnant and married to her Algebra teacher, a subject she's currently getting a D in.No, this time, it's because she has a boyfriend. Kenny's a nice guy, but Mia happens to be in love with someone else, namely, her best friend Lilly's older brother. What's a girl to do? You'll have to read to find out. I loved this book, as I did the first two Princess Diaries, but I found a slight problem with this one, for Meg Cabot had always seemed to present reality in Mia's life (although being a princess is hardly realistic) but .... Happily ever after doesn't happen in real life.
Rating: Summary: A beatiful addition to the series Review: I got this book on the 28th and read it in one day! I couldn't put it down! In the third book, Mia is trying to figure out the best way to break up with Kenny, putting up with Grandmere and her cousin Sebastiano, and all the while preparing for her big trip to Genovia plus school finals! What makes this addition to the series truly great is the suprise ending where the match up that everyone has been waiting for ACTUALLY HAPPENS! and then some... Mia finds self-actualization and her true love. She also raises her F in Algebra to B-! Lilly is busy devising a school walkout to rebel against the Albert Einstien High administration, while Kenny is professing his love to Mia. Mia is afraid that Michael has started dating Judith Gershner, who can clone fruit flies, and her mother has morning sickness! Mia is convinced that her cousin Sebastiano from Genovia is out to murder her and she gets love advice from Grandmere and her dad. In the end Mia discovers Michael's true feelings and has the best night of her life at the Winter Dance! This third book is very good and any Princess Diaries fan should definelty read it!!!! I give it a thumbs up A+!
Rating: Summary: Not as good as the other two Review: I absolutely LOVED the first two books in The Princess Diaries series, but I was disappointed with the ending of the third book. However, I won't spoil the ending for those who have not yet read it. It seemed unrealistic, even more so than the basic outline of the series. Sure, most people don't discover that they are the heir to a small country and that their mom is sleeping with their math teacher, but the twist at the end of this book surpassed all of them. I really liked this series, and I do hope that it is not the end of The Princess Diaries.
Rating: Summary: Princess, I loved it! Review: I bought this book on March 26, the day it came out, at 7:00am. I finished it that same evening at 6:00pm. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! I liked it just as much as Volume 1, but I absolutely enjoyed it more than Princess in the Spotlight because Princess in Love brought a lot of needed closure on Volume 2. You should read all 3, they're super for teenage girls! The movie was NOT as good. BUY THIS BOOK!
Rating: Summary: Great Book! Review: I just finished reading this book and I have to say that the series just keeps getting better! It deserves more than 5 starts, in my opinion. We learn more about the character of Mia Thermopolis and she appears to be growing more emotionally, yet still staying the same young woman that we all adore. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to laugh and enjoy reading. I can't wait until next Spring when the 4th Volume comes out. This is a definite read and you won't be disappointed in what a treasure these novels are for all teenage girls.
Rating: Summary: Fufilling and happy Review: The princess diaries books are fun and creative. I would love something like this to happen to me. It's not only a realistic kind of fantasy, but it is set in a real place (New York City). The third book is the perfect fairy tale end to a great series!
