Summary: He's so funny!!!!!
Review: I don't care what anybody says...this is the best book that I have ever read in my life. Not only was it hilarious but it was so true! This is good clean humour at its best. He's the funniest guy in the world. Great job Paul!

Summary: LOVED IT...
Review: I have always been a big fan of "Mad about You",i found this book hilarious and was laughing all the time, people thought i was nuts.Paul Reiser was honest in showing all the good and bad in a relationship and i guess thats why his book was great. This book is a keeper and i recommend it to everyone.

Summary: More than just funny, it's uplifting . . .
Review: I like the fact that this book makes me laugh ever time I read it but what I truly love is that it reminds me of how much I appreciate what I have in my own "other half." My fiance and I plan to use an excerpt as a reading at our wedding.

Summary: Absolutely Wonderful
Review: I listen to the tapes all the time, in the car or at home(which he even comments on!) It really is great to hear a book with the voice of the comedian. He brings so much more of himself into the attitude of the book. I find myself laughing out loud as I drive along, and I never do that at all. I just want to say how great a job I think Paul Reiser did on this book!

Summary: This is one of the funniest books I have ever read.
Review: I love Paul Reiser, if he wasn't married I would love to marry him. It's a great book, it's realistic and everyone can relate. We've all been there, done that....That's the best comedy!

Summary: It just lacks something...
Review: I mean, it's good, and everything he says is true (you find yourself saying "yeah, he's right!" over and over), but.... I have to say this... It's just not that funny. It's supposed to be funny, but it lacks that certain something... that something you'd find in a book like Seinfeld's "Seinlanguage". I'm sorry to say this because I really like the guy, but I thought this was going to be better...

Summary: My Bible!
Review: I re-read this book every time I enter a new serious relationship! So it's been read a few times. Then there are times when I'll just be bored and see it sitting in my shelf and read it because I think it's the funniest book I have ever read! I have loaned it to people who have loved it and I have read it aloud to my significant other on long train rides. It's almost always with me!

Okay, so basically it's Paul Reiser talking about his experiences with his wife in their day-to-day lives. But unlike some people, I dont think it's that much like 'Mad About You' (his old TV show). I like to think of it as a standalone product personally.

It's one of those things you just laugh yourself stupid and then say "My god, it's so funny because it's true!". For example, 'I don't care yhow sensative you think you are, if you're making love, and you freeze-frame the action, at any given second, one of the two people is thinking: "I hope this feels good for You because I got a cramp you wouldn't believe...'

I didnt like Babyhood as much, but then again, I'm not a father yet. I really wish he would do another book.

Summary: Funny, but only 10% about couples and relationships
Review: I read this book thinking it would be about couples and the sometimes humorous ways they relate. Instead I got one sentence per chapter about a 'couple' issue and the rest of the chapter is about other life observations. It would have been much better if he just would have called it "Life Observations" - at least then I would know what I was in store for -- but maybe that would have been too Seinfeld.

Another reviewer wrote this book was so great on audio - I'm sure it is because all it seems like are transcripts from stand-up routines. I suspect that may be how the book was written - that's why it has no flow.

Anyway, I found it humorous in parts - but had to give it 2 stars because it had hardly anything to do with couples.

Summary: This book really helped me understand my relationships.
Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. Reiser hit on a lot of great topics and many points of intrest. As I read this book it made think of past relationships and how they might have been different if I had read this book first. I really think Paul Reiser hit it big when he wrote this book and I surely can't wait for his next book to hit the shelves

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Laugh out loud
Review: I really enjoyed this book, but I wouldn't say I loved it.
It was really funny to see a guy's perspective on women and relationsips, and I could see myself in some of his stories. It is a good light read.
