Summary: New revelations that give a real hope for Man.
Review: I was extremely happy and relieved to read the valuable viewpoints Neale delivers in this book. We need a real and workable spiritual solution to our worldwide problems, and this, to my surprise, actually delivers one!
Of course those who are stultified and fossilized in parroted and unworkable beliefs will rant and rave against it (as they have in these reviews)but they are just stopping themselves from getting happier faster. Their anger is a mirror of their fear of inspecting their own beliefs. They are petrified of being wrong.

This book is a gem. Neale cares greatly for the Human condition and his unbending intention to improve things is admirable.
I think it was "gutsy" in the extreme for him to come out with the "Conversations With God" series in the first place. Those books are at the top of my list for recommended reading as my own experience with coming closer and closer to God while reading them was inspiring and comforting to a degree I cannot even express. It has changed my life for the better to read these books.
Bravo Neale, and happy reading and application to all those who buy it.

Summary: Walsch and God have done it again.
Review: I have read all of this series and all have been illuminating...as in letting in the light. This one points out where we are and where we can go as a civilization. It is not like the Bible book by the same name in that, as in all of these books, we have a choice. We can make a differnce, if we wake up to the challenge. My favorite was Book 1 because of the truths, for me, I found there. I was rather put off at first by God's speaking in the vernacular

Summary: YOU are the FIRST DOMINO....
Review: i encountered Conversations with God books by chance.
i was deeply moved.
i guess those who had read this books cannot help but become political...

In my country...(south korea)...Nowadays north korea's nuclear threat is volatile issue.
But i thought it is same with Palestine & Israel conflict.
Of course we(korean) are not qualified to say so....

i thought This book(New Revelations) treats fundamentalism.
And the book says it is essential to have genersity to those who disagree with me...

Have nice days.

Summary: Enlightening!
Review: This book is so appropriate for the current time. The events of the world are explained clearly and make sense from a spiritual perspective. It is possible to change the world for the better and this book shows the way.

Summary: BEWARE - DO NOT PURCHASE THESE BOOKS!
Review: Parents Beware - Very disturbing information. Please read.

Parents, Grand parents, Aunts, Uncles, Please pay special attention not only to the what your kids watch on TV and in movie theaters and the music they listen to but we must also be alert regarding the books they read.

Two particular books, Conversations with God and Conversations with God for Teens, written by Neale Donald Walsch sound harmless enough by their Titles alone. These books have been on the NewYork Times bestseller list for a number of weeks. These publications makes truth of the statement "Don't judge a book by its cover/title". The author purports to answer various questions from kids using the "voice of God".

However, the "answers" that he gives are not Biblically based and go against the very infallible Word of God. For instance (and I paraphrase), when a girl asks the question "why am I a lesbian?"

His answer is that she was born that way because of genetics (just as you were born right-handed, with blue eyes, etc). Then he tells her to go out and "celebrate" her differences.

Another girl poses the question "I am living with my boyfriend. My parents say that I should marry him because I am living in sin. Should I marry him?" His reply is "Who are you sinning against? Not me, because you have done nothing wrong.

Another question asks about God's forgiveness of sin. His reply - I do not forgive anyone because there is nothing to forgive. There is no such thing as right or wrong and that is what I have been trying to tell everyone. I do not judge people. People have chosen to judge one another and this is wrong because the rule is "Judge not lest ye be judged" (which of course is taken out of context).

Please consider the following:

"...some things are hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures" 2 Peter 3:16 NKJV

We must "test all things, hold fast what is good" 1 Thess. 5:21 NKJV

Summary: Brings new Revelations as it says
Review: Sometimes back, it struck me that how I relate myself with people and how I relate to myself are the same as how I am relating to God. I was not satisfied with the way I was relating either to myself or to God or to people. This book is helping me get healthy my relationship with God. So I am excited that my relationship with myself and people is by effect changing for the better.

What I express through words here doesn't do justice to what I experience as I am reading this book. I feel graced that it opens me in the most profound ways that I could experience. Messages are so simple and there lies its profoundness. What the author and God call 'beliefs' that are to be changed, I notice it to be changing within me as I read. I am half way through the book - the beginning of the book is such that it has prepared me to be open to the truths that are revealed as the book progresses. As I progress through my reading, each part opens new doors, expanding the beliefs that I already hold.

I think our life's journey could be described in yet another way as there are so many other ways its been described: that it is all about learning how we relate to God in its truthful way. And reading this book will do that work.

In many ways, this book is doing the work for me that Neale Donald Walsch and God has set out to do.

My thanks to Neale Donald Walsch, for having these conversations with God and for his willingness and commitment to share it as this book. 'The New Revelations' is the first of Walsch's books that I have been reading; I look forward to reading his other conversations with God-works.

Summary: A most comprehensive guide to Peace on the Planet
Review: I have read and enjoyed all of Neale Donald Walsh's "With God" books. I keep them by my bedside for nightly reading and meditation. The New Revelations is a very specific guide to what "God" is telling us, as humans, to permit ourselves - to change some of our beliefs and adopt a new Spirituality. The book includes the Five Steps to Peace. I felt an intrinsic knowing when I read these Five Steps. The book is somewhat repetitive in places, but this is deliberate and a good reminder of the previous books, although it is meant to - and does - stand on its own. This book is for anyone who has the courage to examine their inner truth and knowing and a call to action for those who are so inspired.

Summary: Walsch's message simple, but powerful...
Review: The beauty and power of the Walsch books is that they say so much with so little. A wonderful example of this is the sentence on page 260 of The New Revelations..."When inner peace is attained, outer peace becomes possible at last." Could we ever hope to find words more applicable to our present world crisis, or how to resolve it!!!

Summary: Is this another Testament?
Review: This too-short book is a culmination of all of the prior Conversations with God series with a summary of exciting revelations about the Creator of the Universe and you, a remarkable creation. Free will is explained patiently. The purpose of life and its experiences are carefully illuminated. It is a fascinating read the first time, and the second time, and then becomes a daily read-a-few pages and contemplate the meaning book. I think this book and the preceding Books 1, 2 and 3, Communion and Friendship with God will be the most extraordinary books of this and the past century.

Summary: The message is good, but it's the same book(s) re-written.
Review: Don't get me wrong, I think Neale's got a good message. I think everyone ought to read his first 3 CWG books. BUT, I don't think this book was really necessary. He's said it all already. Here, he plays dumb, asking God questions and receiving the answers like these ideas are all new to him and he hasn't written five or six books previously devoted to bringing this same message. Oh, don't forget the audio tapes, study guides, meditation cards, etc. Okay, maybe he uses a few different words and phrases and applies them to current events. But he's saying the SAME THING. Makes me wonder if all he's concerned about now is keeping the CWG "franchise" alive in the eyes of the buying public. How many more books can he write without saying anything new??? Stay tuned....
