Summary: A Good Book
Review: This book was very interesting. I think it was all together a good book, however there were some parts that got really boring and I wondered if anything interesting would happen. I'm 15 years old, so my point of view on this book may be different then others, but I thought this book was good.

Summary: Oh, Puhleeze!
Review: Patterson is writing WAY out of his genre. Isaac Asimov he's NOT. I can't believe I finished this miserable little story. I also think that Patterson should abandon any notion of writing from the female viewpoint in future books...he can't pull it off, drawing a shallow and petty character in the veterinarian. Like everything else in this book, she's "small" and empty. Pass it by.

Summary: Okay
Review: This was the first Patterson book I read and despite its lightweight contents, I read "Along Came A Spider", an Alex Cross novel by Patterson, which was a much better book. As noted in my one-line summary, WTWB was okay. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it a 5.

Summary: just obnoxious
Review: Am I the only one who found "Maximum" the winged girl annoying? The same can be said for Frannie the vet. I was so disappointed with this book; I couldn't wait to get through it just so I could finally be done with it. The subject is a big departure from Patterson's previous bestsellers, and I have to say he did a terrible job with it. I am not the least bit interested in flying children. The obnoxious "love affair" between Kit and Frannie frankly made me nauseous. How much more unbelievable could this couple be? And how many more references to how Max felt while she was flying could Patterson have made? WHO CARES! This reminds me of Patricia Cornwell and "Hornet's Nest". Take a pass on this drivel.

Summary: VERY RIVETING
Review: Being a first time James Patterson reader, I was surprised to see the pages fly by. Whilst the premise is sci-fi, the terror was real. I felt the book enveloped the reader by drawing them into the many emotions of Frannie and Kit, but feel the ending could have been rounded out a little better.

Summary: Waste of time
Review: An 11-year old girl with wings?? I don't read Patterson for science fiction. I kept reading because I was looking for something positive, but it never came.

Summary: Enjoyable fast read...
Review: I found the two main characters interesting and a good match while they investigated the bird children. However it defied logic that they didn't tell the press and blow away the power of secrey the villans had.

Summary: GREAT GREAT BOOK!
Review: This book was the best I have read all year. I study genetics and I know it sounds crazy to have a human with wings but belive me it could be done someday. I read it in less then 24 hours. I know James Patterson had to do major reserch for this book and it is amazing.

Summary: First time reader can't turn pages fast enough. Excellent.
Review: I had never read any of James Patterson's books and I certainly intend to read them all. His writing is surperb.I really had a tough time putting the book down so that I could get some sleep at night. As far fetched as this subject may be to some readers, it is not far from possible. A brave new world with a twist. Beautiful flying children and evil doctors.

Summary: It's Fiction People
Review: I've read every James Patterson novel to date. All are very good reads, this one was just as pleasing. I admit, that at first, I thought "Oh great. A 'Fantasy Book'". Now I'm glad I gave it more of a chance. I too read this book in one day. I'm ready to start reading "Pop goes the Weasel" and have loved every Alex Cross novel. But, there's nothing wrong with a little change of pace. A little light reading, a little Disney in your life. I'll continue reading all of Pattersons novels, and look forward to his next surprising change.
