Summary: Another great mystery thriller!
Review: Having read several of Mary Higgins Clark's books, I knew in advance that this was going to yet again be another great book.
This particular novel, is a fascinating murder mystery that brings the past back into action. Emily Graham, a young criminal defense lawyer moves into her ancestors home, digs up and recreates a murder mystery that goes back over one hundred years. A supposed reincarnated killer is killing beautiful young women by strangling them. One of the murder victims that is found just happens to be Grahams great-great grandmother. With Grahams knowledge and determination to find her ancestors killer, the murder mystery is solved.
This story contains a lot of twisted situations that make you continue to try and figure out what is going to happen next. The vivid impressions that Clark creates in all of her stories, makes it seem as though you are really there when her adventures are happening. This is something that always makes me want to continue reading. As a reader, I very much enjoy reading any of Mary Higgins Clark's novels. If you enjoy advertures and thrilling murder mysteries, then you should read any one of Clarks great novels.

Summary: Keeps you guessing? Not in my opinion.
Review: This book was utterly predictable. I had figured out who the killer was a quarter into the book, and believe me, I'm no mystery aficionado. It's not that it wasn't entertaining-- I finished it in about three days-- it's just that I was too prepared for the ending.

Summary: fabulous book
Review: this is my first of mary higgins clark's books, but it certainly will not be my last. her short chapters are a bonus of someone who only gets brief periods to read during the busy day.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: 4 and a half stars. but lacks depth.
Review: This is my first Mary Higgins Clark novel, and i shall definitely be reading more. This is a quick, exciting, tense, suspenseful read. However, it is quite short, and lacks depth of plot and character. Nonetheless, i fairly raced through this book, lapping up the original and complex plot. there are plenty of twists throughout, and an enjoyable ending. There are lots of characters, and it does get confusing at times. However, the fast pace of this book, the great suspense, and the compelling plot make this a very enjoyable read.

Summary: A great mystery
Review: I enjoyed this book very much, especially the 100 year old mystery. I was somewhat annoyed that the main character didn't see that she could possibly be a target for the killer. I would have had the police camped out in my living room. Despite this I stayed up all night to finish it and then passed it on to friend to enjoy. I highly recommend this book!

Summary: Twisting Thriller
Review: If you like suspense and like to be on the edge of your seat then I would suggest this book! I never knew what to think from one page to the next! I thought I had it figured out several times and everytime I was wrong! Mary Higgins Clark also give a glimpse into the past, which is just great!

Summary: Clever
Review: I liked it a lot! It kept me interested until the very end. I was surprised and re-read parts of the book, which is good sign that I like a book. I loved the clever 100 year space between the murders. I highly recommend the book.

Summary: Very disappointed!
Review: I wish I had waited for the library to get this book. There are so many characters in this book it is hard to figure out what purpose they have in the story. And also, I didn't find any of them interesting, even the main character. The plot is boring, the characters are dull, don't waste any money on this book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Cliff-hanger until the end!!!!!!!
Review: I have read many of Clark's books and this was by far the best so far! After the first chapter you want to read the next then the next and before you know it, it's 1 in the morning and you still want to keep reading!! The end is a HUGE surprise! I would have NEVER guessed it! I don't like to read books multiple times but this one i would definitly read more than twice!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A good mystery
Review: This was the first time, I read anything by this author and it won't be the last. This story is about a death that happened 110 years ago and the modern day disappearance of some other girls in a small town. An ancestor of the missing woman of 110 years ago goes back to her hometown and purchases the house own by her Aunt. There are many suspects in this story but there is a surprise ending. I enjoyed this story.
