Rating: Summary: Loyalty in Death Review: I am a very big fan of J.D Robb and I have never been this interested in a series like I am now. I have enjoyed all of the books so far in the "____ in Death" series. I'm on the last chapter of Loyalty in Death and can't wait to keep reading. I love the character Eve Dallas and can't wait for the next book to come out. I hope the books for this series just keep rolling out. I've managed to read the entire series when I accidentally found the book Vengence in Death in the book store, and choose it out of sequence. I then started from the beginning and read all the books in 3 weeks. My husband is amazed that I'm tearing through the books. They're very addicting. I hope that J.D Robb doesn't run out of titles that would end the series. Read the series you'll love it !
Rating: Summary: J.D. Robb = Great Auther Review: this is a great book. this is the first book of J.D. robb that i have read , and now i can't wait for the next book!
Rating: Summary: An Average Novel in a wonderful series Review: After reading through the five star ratings, I felt compelled to add my own .02 cents. First, J.D.'s best is above average expectations, meaning that when she's average, she's still better than most. With that said, I've also read all of the previous "In Death" books and find that Loyalty in Death is just average. I skipped several pages, the ending was a bit too pat. Her best novels of this exceptionally wonderful series has to be the first one, Naked In Death, followed by Glory In Death, Rapture In Death. I based that on the sleepless nights I had reading them. All the others weren't bad. I just didn't read them all in one sitting. It's takes a very talented writer to substain this type of momentum with their readers giving them glorious reviews for each and every book. What is this? The 9th book? I'm impressed.
Rating: Summary: JD ROBB FAN Review: I first discovered JD Robb while browsing through selections in a bookstore... it was the 2nd book in the series.. after having read one, I had to buy the REST OF THE SERIES and spent a week reading all J.D. Robb...Eve Dallas, Roarke, Finney and all the other characters are memorable... Robb gets better and better... it makes me wish I lived in that city and that time... haha...
Rating: Summary: Simply The Best Review: This book is simply the best of the In Death Series. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. This is a book you won't want to put down. J.D. Robb ( Nora Roberts) just keeps improving on herself. This is one series I hope never ends.
Rating: Summary: The best read ever.... Review: J.D Robb's latest instalment in the Death series was full of exictment, tension and unpredicatbility. The sexy sizzling chemisty between Eve and Roake as well as peabody and McNab creates a great contrast to the chaos and mayham that surrounds them. This is my favourite novel.. J D Robb keep it up.
Rating: Summary: Series is Addictive Review: I have always enjoyed Nora Robert's books, but did not know she wrote under J D Robb. I bought all books in this series and read them all during the week after Christmas. I couldn't but them down. I fell in love with Roake, Eve and all the other characters in this series. Nora - PLEASE PLEASE keep them coming.
Rating: Summary: Loyalty In Death Review: J.D. Robb takes my breath away. Loyalty in Death was exciting and unpredicatable. The explosive, sizzling sexual chemistry between the characters Peabody and McNab as well as Eve and Roake adds tension to the mounting chaos that surrounds them. This book is brillant and my favourite in th Death Series. J D Robb keep up the good work.
Rating: Summary: I love this book Review: Eve Dallas and Roarke are just fantastic. Their love is just sizzling. This is the first of the In Death series book which I read, and I will for sure read the others, especially Naked in Death. I had a hard time getting it here. Although it's futuristic, it's still in this world, because love is alive and kicking. I just love Roarke. He's not only rich, but so very patient and romantic. Zeke brings you back to the good old days, where things are hand made and he's so naive in love. Very good read, enjoyable.
Rating: Summary: Feeling smug.... Review: Are you new to the "...In Death" series? Go back andstart at the very beginning, Naked in Death. Only then , you'll feelSMUG like the rest of us. Because we, the readers of all 8 books, understand all the "inside" jokes, nuances and situations. We've been through thick and thin with the whole crew: Eve, Roarke, Peabody, McNab, Mavis, etc. As much as I love Eve, she can be frustrating with that cold attitude of hers. Lucky for her, she's married to the eternally patient Roarke. And speaking of Roarke -he's the only smoker I would let into my life. (The image of him in his white satin shirt, smoking one of those long, cigarello type cigarettes, and a brandy in his other hand....Damn sexy!) I love this series! But does the lack of a preview at the end of this book indicate that this is the end of the series? Let it not be so!
