Rating: Summary: The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants Review: The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants is about four girls, Lena, Briget, Tibby, and Carmen, who have been best friends since birth(literally). They are about fourteen and are about to start summer vacation when they find these really cool pants that fit all of them, even though they are different sizes. They decide that throughout the summer, they will each take turns wearing the pants and mail letters to tell everyone how their summer is going. Lena is going to Greece with her family to visit their grandparents. Her matchmaker grandmother, who always calls her 'beautiful Lena' has introduced her to a very handsome guy named Kostos. At first she doesn't like him at all, and accuses him of stalking her. But then at the end of the summer she realizes that she is falling in love with him. Briget, a very talented soccer player, is going to Baja California at a soccer camp. There she meet a really cute guy, and they are immediately attracted to each other. The only problem is, he's just a little too old. So Briget lies about her age, and the two become very, very, VERY close, if you get what I mean. But after, Briget confesses her true age and gets her heart broken. Tibby is staying at home this summer. While at her really boring job, she meets Bailey a young girl with luikemia, who gives her new view about life and judging others. They become very good friends. But Bailey's luikemia slowly gets worse and sadly, at the end of the summer, Bailey is gone forever. Carmen, is spending the summer with her dad, who she always has lots of fun with. But it turns out she won't have her dad to herself after all. Carmen's dad has recently been engaged, and now his fiancee and her two teenagers have moved in with him. Now Carmen must deal with the new changes in her family. During this important summer of all of their lives, Lena, Briget, Tibby, and Carmen must learn to love, accept and deal with the changes that are happening in their lives.

Rating: Summary: a story of FREINDSHIP Review: the sisterhood of the traveling pants is a story about 4 friends who have known each other since birth. all their lives these girls have been together up until their first seperation. the girls are devestated all their lives they were like a square because four sides is the only thing that can make a square correct? Now that the square woun't be together you'd think the girls would seperate well if so you thought wrong lena carmen tibby and bridget come up with a plan and that is when the birth of the traveling pants takes place. amazingly the traveling pants fit all four girls despite their different shapes sizes. this is only a start as each girl will go througth her own problem such ....as falling in love with her coach, meeting sick children and realizing true heartache, life in greece while a new love life is formed while caught skinny dipping... well I'd hate to spoil the story for you any moore but this is a must read! and i highley recommend it to every girl on earth.

Rating: Summary: An all-nighter (really). Review: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is one of those few gems of literature that really change you. I stayed up the night soaking it all in, crying, rejoicing and longing for more. On first sight, the book looks like another teen normality-- romance between pretties, divorces, friendships, summer camp loves and blah blah blah. And maybe it is. But Sisterhood brings in so much more. The feelings are real, and beautiful. Ann Brashares (the author) has a talent that musn't be squashed. In the beginning of the summer the story begins simply: Carmen buys the pants w/out thought, and w/ her friends Lena, Tibby and Bridget, organize a "thing"--meaning traveling all over the places to where they're gonna be during summer. Hence, the traveling pants. Their simple stories grow into deep emotions and teenage rampants. Their unique and interesting problems can sometimes be thought unrealistic or annoying, but Ann Brashares makes them real, and in that way, has created an awesome book. Somehow, the ending is so heartfelt, and i loved it.
Rating: Summary: An amazing book!! Review: This is a great realistic fiction book. It is amazing what the four bestfriends do over one summer with these magical pants. Lena goes to Greece, Carmen goes to spend the summer with her dad, Bridget goes to soccer camp and Tibby stays home. All have amazing adventures that are fun to read. I couldn't put the book down!!!
Rating: Summary: Two Thumbs Up! (If I had more,I would've included them too!) Review: One word to describe this book: "Wow." I laughed with the girls, cried with them (really!) and I'm already 17. But wait, even if I had come across this book when I'm, like, 20+, I would still be able to laugh, cry, etc. along with it. It's really fun to read (although there are parts that I can't understand, like Bee's "disappointment"), but manages to be quite heavy (I've never really had problems like their's, but it made me realize that it's up to you to make your life miserable or not, by the way you handle your problems) at times. It doesn't disappoint, although I wish they already have the sequel in bookstores here, or else I would persuade my mom to get one from Amazon! Anyway, just encouraging you to read it, coz there's a really big possibility you're gonna enjoy it like I do! Ü
Rating: Summary: I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!!! Review: I was at the library with my aunt one day, and i was looking in the young adult section. I was particulary looking for R.L. Stine books, but wound up finding The Sisterhood of the Traveling pants. I read the back, and it seemed like a cute story of BFF's. so i checked it out and started reading it. It's about 3 friends: Carmen, Lena, Tibby, and Bridget the story is about their first summer with the Pants. Carmen finds them at a thrift shop. She's about to disgard them but Tibby finds them. Magically, they fit each friend perfectly. The story is very cute, but it does deal with teen isues. (refering to sex.) I'm 11 and understand most about sex, so it didn't bother me. But if you're younger then 11, this book isn't for you. But it is a must-read for pre-teen and teen girls!
Rating: Summary: This was a good book Review: This book was really good. I read it in about two nights and i read it while i was at camp. That is saying something about it because there are many other things to do at camp and i usually wouldnt spend my time reading. But this book was good. And how could you resist it just looking at the cover.
