Review: I thought that these cd's helped quite a bit. There were a few things that could have been a little better but they were good and I recomend them to others.

Summary: Easy to use
Review: In spite of my Spanish sir name, until I purchased this CD set, I knew very little Spanish. After going through this first Learn in Your Car series however, I feel like I can speak broken Spanish to friends and family. I get a great charge out of it. No doubt, learning a second language after your childhood is a daunting task, but it is possible in my experience. Don't be fooled though, you must do the CD exercises again and again. Repetition is really important; it took me quite a long time to get past the first two CDs, and I have a very long commute.This first set of CD's really focuses on the basics, like travel, restroom, hotel, and restaurant phrases. I think that I will become far more appreciative of learning Spanish when I get the Level 2 CD's. Overall, I enjoyed learning Spanish in my car, and I do plan to purchase the follow-up series.

Summary: Yesterday I love it. Today, I like it.
Review: My package arrived yesterday. I bought this as a supplement while immersing myself in Spanish courses by Platiquemos and Learning Spanish Like Crazy. I was so impressed after the first day of this course that I quickly wrote a review and posted it for the 3 level series of this product. Now its day 2. I still like the course. But yesterday I was in love with it. Strange how things change so quickly. Why the change? The course requires you to give your answer in Spanish after the English speaker speaks. But the course does not give you enough time to respond before the Spanish speaker responds. It becomes very annoying after awhile.

Review: These really are great, I recieved the level 1 set about 3 weeks ago and I'm ordering the level 2 set today. I have the CDs and they have increased my ability with the language tremendously. I would recommend getting a book or separate program for the computer to help as learning strictly from these would leave out quite a bit, the verbs and tenses are probably easier to pick up through a book, but I found them very, very helpful. I did have the slight volume problem like others have mentioned but it was only minor and I found that adjusting the speaker control in my car fixed the problem. I was even able to fade the English out completely and focus on understanding the Spanish without the English help. Very good tapes(or CDs).

Summary: An effective way to learn Spanish if you're always driving
Review: This 3 part CD learning tool is a great way to learn another language, especially for those who are always on the road. It allows one to hear how words are properly said, with accent and all. The CDs start off very basic with individual words and then end in fluent Spanish conversations. Forget books, CDs are the way to go!
