Rating: Summary: The Real America is Real Amazing Review: I'm nearly finished with the book so I thought everyone out there might want some feedback from someone that actually read the book. Simply put, this book is riveting, I simply couldn't put it down. It starts out well enough, but the more you read the more it draws you in. I highly recommend that every single man, woman and child in this country read the chapter about 'Partisan Politics'. The way the book mixes humor with real emotion and serious subjects is amazing, it's riveting. I can't wait to see what Glenn does for a follow-up.
Rating: Summary: A Must Read Review: If you are annoyed at political correctness and the way our society is going, you will enjoy and appreciate Glenn Beck's "The Real America". I have read every book written about our country and politics and moral behavior that has come out in the last ten years. Glenn Beck's is one of the best. And to be honest, I think the book that is a combination of the most unusual and most educational that you should go on to read after Glenn Beck's book, a book that is about "the real America" and the way it was supposed to be and ought to be, is Norman Thomas Remick's "West Point: Character Leadership...Thomas Jefferson". It is complimentary with Glenn Beck's "The Real America", and, like Glenn Beck's, is also on my list of the best and most honest books.
Rating: Summary: Advance copy was amazing Review: I can't push this book enough, you will NOT be disappointed. Entertainment and Elightenment in a very easy to read novel. BUY THIS BOOK AND SAVE BOBO!

Rating: Summary: Get the author's name right... Review: No wonder the book isn't in the top ten... Amazon.com has Glenn's name wrong! It's Glenn BRECK you morons! Smacks of conspiracy to me, no doubt started by Michael Moore's puppy-hating cronies.SAVE BOBO!
Rating: Summary: A masterpiece in Beck's own down-to-earth style Review: Just finished the book, and it is a masterpiece. Not in the sense that it has plot twists and turns and words most of us have never heard of. Not that it has the power of 14 Harvard brainiacs behind it. It's powerful because it is written from the heart, with real ideas from a sincere man. When I met Glenn in Cleveland, I realized he is a down-to-earth guy beholden to no one; this book emphasizes his commitment.
Rating: Summary: Prophet or apologist? Review: The Real America by Glenn Beck is not yet available for public scrutiny, but consider this: Glenn has had no [conservative] political following until he started this radio show for which he was admittedly selected to cover the tragedies of September 11, 2001. The perspective he gives is incomplete, maybe deliberately so. I am very curious, why no more rallies for America? Does Glenn always use humor because he's on in the morning or because he's a Bush apologist? Glenn often refers callers to read the whole of Bush speeches instead of addressing their specific question or concern. Then he has asked why the caller would have such a 'spin,' as if the caller must be a liberal Bush detractor, but the caller doesn't respond because he's been cut off. Actions still speak louder than words, even for one who is U.S. President. Glenn speaks of God-given rights, but very rarely of our [We the] People-created government disregarding these rights. Glenn doesn't enjoy talking about Bush's outrageous national spending and how he has apparently tried to conceal it in government contracts. Glenn talks about the economy as if it's ready to improve, saying the only continuing negative economic indicator is the unemployment rate, which is always a contrived figure, far less than the real percentage. What about the current 4.6% mortgage foreclosure rate? The rate of personal bankruptcies? The miniscule, but meaningful, 0.1% decline in U.S. property values the week of September 8, 2003? What of the New York Stock Exchange, Wall Street's lies and broken promises, the Federal Reserve system and their stating the week of September 8, 2003, that the lost jobs will not return, that new and different jobs must be created in order to employ the jobless. But Glenn has declared his general aversion to tariffs. The fact that each new Stock Market high point is lower than the last high point and each new low point is lower than the last low point need not be ignored. This proves manipulation of the Stock Market by big money for the purpose of gaining confidence for as long as possible in an intrinsically criminal and doomed system of financing. The real America of today is immortalized in undeniable facts, figures, and photos. The real America is mortalized in this new world disorder. p.s. As it usually does, are we to understand "Bobo" means "Beau Beau?" If so, intriguing how Glenn would give his 'doomed' puppy a name based in the French Language. Can you take Glenn seriously? - Christopher, Clearwater, Florida

Rating: Summary: Poetry Review: A wonderfully written book. The words used flow like poetry. No one has every written a book so vivid of description since last months Penthouse Forum. One must buy this book if not to help Glenn buy the car of his dreams but for the love of Pete to save BOBO.
Rating: Summary: A must read! Review: Wrap your head in duct tape, grab a tub of creamy chocolate sugar butter and wave your flag! This book is for fans of the show and not. Peer into the neurosis that is Glenn Beck. Stuff like this is why Hundreds of thousands of Real Americans travelled to the Rallies for America. Plant your tongue firmly in your cheek and enjoy!
