Summary: bloomin' blunder!
Review: This was my first venture into the Shopaholic series after hearing/reading so many great reviews. But I can't say that I'm a fan of Becky's. I wanted to reach into the pages and give her a good shaking. I found her very annoying because she can't seem to get her priorities straight or stand up for herself. I felt like the book could have been 300 pages shorter. I didn't need all the going back and forth or her not telling Luke the truth. If she's going to marry the guy, how can she be scared of him? Not exactly the relationship to base a marriage on!

Summary: Rebecca Bloomwood Has a BIG Dilemma!
Review: This book had me in stitches laughing! This time, the eccentric, fumbling Rebecca Bloomwood gets herself in a knot bigtime.
After Luke proposes to Becky, everyone is very happy for the couple. Becky's mom can hardly wait to make wedding plans for her only child, and of course Luke's mother, who is trying to make up for lost time with her son, wants to plan a wedding also.
Becky knows she wants to get married in Oxshot, not in a fancy New York wedding Luke's mother wants to plan. And she doesn't have the heart to hurt her mom's feelings besides, so she tells neither one of them no. The two moms go ahead with their plans, and of course, on the same wedding date. And Becky is scared to death to speak up. So as the plans go on, she tries to back out of the New York wedding, but as snotty as her future mother-in-law is, she doesn't dare. Luke's mom made her sign a pre-nuptial agreement, where if Becky doesn't go through with her plans, she'll be sued for over 100,000!
Becky's mom has this beautiful backyard wedding planned in England, and Becky can't speak up. She tries to figure a way out, but there doesn't seem to be any. As the wedding(s) draw closer and closer, Becky finds herself in more trouble then she knows what to do with. So what happens next? The book will tell.

Summary: Shopaholic Ties the Knot
Review: What a great book! The author's humour kept me hooked throughout the book! Becky Bloomwood is a shopaholic, or in other words loves to shop. She is living in New York with her boyriend Luke and is the best personal shopper at Barneys. She loves her life. But then her best friend, Suze, gets engaged and Becky can't help but to think about marriage. She' just thinking about whether or not Luke would be ever get married when he proposes. Becky sets herself up for a romantic backyard wedding at her mother's house in Oxshott, England until she meets with the infamous Elinor Sherman, Luke's mother. Elinor is rich and obsessed with social status, so naturally she wants a big, all-expenses-paid New York wedding at the Plaza. But how is Becky supposed to tell her mother, who's already planned her whole wedding in England, that she wants to have it New York? So Becky doesn't. Then she ends up with two weddings on the same day, and she can't seem to choose between them. Will Becky be able to get out of this one, or will she have to return one of the weddings?

Summary: Kinsella Never Fails to Amaze!
Review: If you thought planning your wedding was tough try planning 2 different weddings in two different countries, all while keeping one a secret from your family! That's Becky Bloomwood's challenge in the third book of the Shopaholic series. Fun an dfrustration fill the books pages from beginning to end. If you loved the first two in the series this one will not dissappoint!

Summary: Yet another entertaining Shopaholic book
Review: In some ways, this third book in the Shopaholic series is more serious than the other two. In this novel, Becky not only has to deal with her normal shopaholic tendencies and money problems (though she does seem to be shopping slightly less than in the other 2 novels), but she also has to get her priorities in order. Becky is booked for 2 weddings (her own) on the same day: one is being planned by a cold, calculating future mother-in-law -- who nevertheless has a ton of money and can make this a dream wedding for Becky - in America; the other one is being planned by Becky's mother and will be held in England. It will be more toned down, she'll have to wear her mother's old, outdated wedding dress, but she'll have her family and closest friends nearby. What will she do?
I will admit that Becky's lies and indecisiveness can occasionally be irritating, but as usual, she comes through in the end and determines some of the things she values most. I've just bought Shopaholic and Sister, and I can't wait to read it.

Review: This is the first book I have read out of the Shopaholic series. I found it really funny. I can't wait to read another book in the series.

Summary: Silly in a bad way
Review: This was my first "Shopaholic" book, and I was sorely disappointed. While the plot is cute and the writing is fine, the main character is such an absolute nimwit that I found myself groaning at her stupidity. For me, a 27-year-old who can't voice her opinions about her own wedding, hasn't bothered to ask her fiance if he wants children, can't keep her credit card in her wallet, and continuously lies to her fiance and her parents isn't a funny, lovable heroine, but a frustrating nincompoop. Sorry, but Rebecca, and this book, are losers.
