Summary: This Book tells you exactly what is right for you
Review: I've read many books on this subject, but unlike all the other books, this one actually tells you what to do. I've read a lot about the advantages of putting you money in stocks or bonds or mutual funds, still I didn't invest in anything, because I didn't know if it is right for me personally. David Bach, however, tells you what to do step by step, whether you are 20 or 50 years old. He first gives instructions on how to organize yourself, how to become aware of what you actually want in life and then gives you step by step advice: what you should definetely do or what you definetely don't need. He also writes in a way that is very motivational. You really WANT to get your life and your finances in order. Honestly I read this book like a novel, I sometimes couldn't put it down.

Summary: Fantastic all-around guide
Review: My financial advisor recommended I read this book after I met with him. It turned out that I was doing most of what he advised (which was reassuring). The most useful thing I did after reading this book was write down my Top 5 financial goals and really think about how I was going to get there. Before I read this book they had been very vague and general. I liked the exercises he makes you do to really focus on what you want and how are you going to get there. Would have liked a little more detail on specifics in some sections but overall a good financial check up.

Summary: Knowledge Is Powerful!
Review: I am single with no children. My finanical goals since the death of my father(no life insurance policy)were to insure and secure my finanical future. After graduating from dental hygiene school, with limited knowledge of the investment world (medical, disability, & life insurances), I obtained a finanical advisor to set-up the forementioned policies. After which I shared the information with my sister-in-law and several other people who all said it was no need for me to have life insurance. I replied with the same reason I gave my advisor---"I want to take out a life insurance now at age 27 so when I get married and have children the policy wouldn't cost as much."Had I read SMART WOMEN FINISH RICH before I met with an advisor I would have known that my money would have been better invested in a Roth IRA (self-employed)as opposed to life insurance. As well as the other red flags of a least than best advisor. I just finished reading the book yesterday and I have already implemented several(of many) suggestions. And I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life free of finanical worries and having fun doing so.

Review: I have read a variety of books about getting yourself set up for financial success and this is by far the best! I like that it was written for women and in easy to understand terms. I like the way the book is set up and the author's advice was easy to follow. A big thumbs up!!

Review: Over the last ten years I have read several books on finance... this one is the best so far....women will definitely benefit from Bach's work... I can hardly wait to attend one of his seminars. Until I do this book will get me on my way! This book makes a great graduation book - I bought one for my daughter!

Summary: Outstanding Common Sense
Review: Thoroughly enjoyed the smart, savvy advice. David Bach seems to really understand women and the money issues we face. The book is written in an easy to understand, motivational manner which makes you want to take control of the money issues in your life versus money controlling us. I highly recommend this book for your own personal library as well as a gift to all women in your life. As an industry professional, I give "Smart Women Finish Rich" to all of my female customers, friends, and family - and a few men, too!!

Summary: Empowerment for women!
Review: I thought this book was great. It clearly and concisely outlines what a women needs to look at in her values and where she wants to be at retirement. I loved the latte factor!! I've read lots of books on financial security but this one puts it all together in a real and easily understood way. Thank you David Bach!!

Summary: Financially Abundance
Review: This book offers every women regardless of your economic status and position the information to improve your financial self. By Being an entreprenuer I have found that I have focused on everone else's financial situation but too busy for myself. David's book offers the tools and information on how to start planning for your future. I met with my CPA's and they wanted to charge me for the direction and information found in this book. If anyone is willing to take control they can easily find what path is the one to take with this book.

Summary: This book was terrific!
Review: This book was terrific! David Bach gives great advice to women, without talking down to us. I almost forgot this book was aimed at women until I would get to a part where he would say something about "your husband", etc. He gives good, solid, down to earth, easy to understand advice that any woman could follow easily. I really enjoyed all the times he mentions his grandmother and how much she influenced his financial outlook.

Review: This book is a mandatory read for all women! I have read many books on investments and financial advice and have never read a book like this one. David Bach not only educates the reader, he actually gives sound financial advice to the reader. For example, he doesn't just tell you to contribute to a retirement fund, he tells you HOW MUCH you should be contributing to your retirement fund. He prompts you to firmly set your goals and then guides you in achieving them I am so impressed by this book that I have advised all the women that I know to read it and I have even advised many men to read it. You simply can't go wrong with this book.
