Summary: GET SPECIFIC.
Review: Finally a one-stop-shopping manual for the arduous selection process of finding well-suited love. This book validates so much of what we learn the hard way. I refer it to every one of the 300 monthly callers I get who want to know the when, if, how and why of the love or lack of love in their life. Stops the chaos. Puts closure on the past. Helps one realize they've been a volunteer, not a victim. And gives forthright steps to take into a healthy relationship with oneself and others.

Summary: Superb Book
Review: A truly great book about finding and evaluating partners. Equally valuable for both male and female human beings. Isn't it time we experience that incredible partnership we've been dreaming of for decades?

Summary: Should be a requirement for anyone at any age while dating
Review: A short review like this cannot even begin to give justice to, or describe the importance of this phenominal book! I firmly believe that this book should be an actual state requirement in public junior high schools for their students to read while they are in that stage of discovering the opposite sex. The information in this book will without question save a person at any age and at any time period of their dating life unthinkable and sometimes unrepairable damages and hearache. The healing that can start to take place withing yourself and the proper preventative measures that you will learn are nothing short of astounding! This is enlightenment at its best! I also highly recommend Mars And Venus On A Date by Dr. John Gray. Together they are the two most valuable books on the market today on the subject of dating and relationships. Both books should be bought together and read and reread thoroughly. The unfortunate part about people in general is that the people who absolutely need to read material like these books, don't. The people who already have a decent relationship and who want to take their relationship to the next level are smart and will read it and apply it. Please take this to heart. If you have any questions in your mind about yourself or about the person you are with or your past dating experiences, read DeAngelis' book. It will change your life! As I said, Dr. Gray's book is equally valuable. I recommend both books even for people who are married. Divorce lawyers would practically be out of business! Don't fool yourself by pretending everything is fine in your relationship if you know deep down in your hear that it is not. It just may be repairable and this is the key to it!

Summary: Her book is a must-read.
Review: Barbara De Angelis is the greatest. I had watched her infomercial late at night and thought that some of the things she pointed out did make some sense. I started to read some of her books during the ups and downs of my life. Those prinples that she taught in the book helped me very much in my relationships. Not only did I learn how to end a bad relationship and move on with my life, I also learned how to have a healthy relationship with someone who knows how to respect, appreciate and love me. Now I am in a great marriage with my wonderful husband, Dale. I would highly recommend her books to anyone who is searching for a healthy, loving and everlasting relationship.

Summary: Helped me realize she was not the one!
Review: After a long relationship went bust, a friend handed me this and said "read it...then we'll talk". Well, I did it showed me things that made me think of me instead of what I thought I saw. Thanks Barbara...you helped me get over her and to the right one for me.

Summary: Should be required reading for everyone!
Review: I am a marriage counselor, and teach couples how to have happy relationships. This book should be required reading for anyone who wants to have a healthy, satisfying relationship. I sincerely hope that all high schools, as well as colleges, counselors and support groups will recommend it. Not only is it full of useful information, ideas, and exercises, but it is also easy to read. I teach a class based on this excellent book, and participants say, "I wish I had known all this before."

Summary: A wise and necessary book...
Review: A friend of mine ridiculed Barbara DeAngelis because she does infomercials. This kept me away from her books for a long time--until I had ended a terribly dysfunctional relationship, in which I was blind to every problem until I had suffered tremendous emotional damage. I resolved to read everything I could find about healthy relationships. I am glad I bought this book, and am grateful for the long, tough, but absolutely necessary assessment of myself that it required.

Summary: The only book that changed my life.
Review: When my marriage broke up and was followed by a painful love affair, a friend recommended this book. I have used it as my guide with every subsequent relationship and have since recommended it to every one of my newly-divorced friends! It cuts to the chase of why you meet the wrong people, why your current relationship isn't working, and why you may choose the wrong partners. Best of all, it offers hope. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
