Summary: Tuck Everlasting: Great book
Review: I think Tuck Everlasting is one of the best books I've ever read. The reason I say this is because I've never read a book that was so...I guess you could say mysterious...? There was just something about it that was different. I guess when I read the epilogue, it sort-of changed the story around a little bit. I guess I wish Winnie would have drinken the water from the spring and gone to be happy with Jesse forever. Anyway, I give the book 4 stars.

Summary: Tuck Everlasting- A review from me!
Review: The portion of Tuck Everlasting that I read, I found pretty interesting. I didn't rate it higher than three stars, because I missed part of the book (we read it at school). I would reccomend this book to teens and adults. If you read about life and death, or enjoy fantasy, then you will enjoy this book. This book explains what it would be like to live forever. You may think it would be great, but the Tucks don't.

The Tucks drank from an Everlasting Spring, which makes them live forever but does not show ageing.Does Winnie Foster decide to drink from the spring? Read Tuck Everlasting written by Natalie Babbit to find out.

Summary: We all would like to live forever. Right ??? Maybe not.
Review: This was a very unusual and original story. The main character, young Winnie Foster happens upon a magical stream and meets the Tuck family who inadvertantly drank from the stream years ago and now they cannot die. The story is about the Tuck's efforts to protect the secret of the stream because they wouldn't wish their plight on their worst enemy. It just isn't natural to live forever says the Tucks. What would you do?? To drink or not to drink, that is the question. The book was beautifully written and many of the descriptive passages I earmarked and reread many times over. This was a great book that could be pondered on many levels and I highly recommend it to adults in particular.

Summary: Life Everlasting
Review: If the idea of living forever interests you then Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt is a book you will find thought provoking and enjoyable. This modern fantasy told by a third person all knowing narrator, has a plot which revolves around the idea of water giving people eternal life. The major theme of Tuck Everlasting is the value of the life and death cycle; therefore I think the novel is appropriate for students in 7th and 8th grade. Natalie Babbitt does a wonderful job with the use of symbolism in Tuck Everlasting. In fact, the first sentences of the novel compares August to the top of a Ferris Wheel. Symbolism is also used when the life cycle is explained, as a wheel, by Angus Tuck in his attempts to explain the benefits and pitfalls of eternal life. The main character, 10 year old Winnie Foster, is a dynamic character. In the beginning of Tuck Everlasting Winnie is a very sheltered girl afraid to stand on her own, but in the course of the novel Winnie meets the Tuck family and her world changes. Winnie is forced to make many difficult decisions which ultimately change Winnie forever. Winnie is given the opportunity to have eternal life...does Winnie drink the water and live forever with the friends she made? The suspense will keep you reading until the end to find out for yourself.

Summary: Meggan Guyett's review of Tuck Everlasting.
Review: The book Tuck Everlasting was very interesting. It really sucked me in when Mae Tuck killed the man in the yellow suit. He was going to make Winnie drink out of the magical spring, which gives her everlasting life. Mae is the mother in Tuck Everlasting. Winnie is the main character in the book. Winnie and Jesse, Mae's son, were going to get married but never did. Next, Winnie helped Mae get out of jail and took her place. Finally, Winnie did not tell anyone about the spring because she didn't want anyone else to drink from it. This is a great book because there is a lesson to be learned. I really like the relationship between Winnie Foster and Jesse Tuck. I really disliked how the book said anything or anyone would not die if they drank out of the spring but the tree that grew in it and died. Something else I really liked was that the Tucks were very kind and respectful. I also really liked how Winnie did not like to see anything die. The best part of the book was that Winnie did the right thing and didn't drink from the spring. I think she made a good choice. I thought Tuck Everlasting was a real good book because there were a lot of things that interested me. I would recommend it because it's an awesome book and there is a valuable lesson to be learned. If you like fairy tales and myths then you would like this book.

Summary: A book worth reading
Review: Everyday people are put up to choices that they heve to decide on the selves. Some of them can be easy everyday decisions and some can change your life forever. In the book Tuck Everlasting Winnie is forced to make the hardest choice of her life. Winnie a young teenage girl that lives in a village with a forest near by called tree gap. She was always for some reason decided not to go in the forest. But when she decides to do it once in for all she's up for a adventure she thought would never happen. All the curiosity about the forest started when she was outside one day in her yard and a tall skinny man with a bright yellow suit came up to talk to her.You see the man in the yellow suit said that the music came from the forest.Winnie said she already knew that, but he told her that the music came from trolls.Although her mom told her not to worryabout what the man said she did anyway. So Winnie decided it was timeto check out the forest for her self. When she went back into the forest everything seemed perfectly fine. The birds were chirping, the trees were a pretty green, and everything was calm. Then in the distance she heard a stream of water that would change her life. When she went over to check everything seemed right and all was calm. Then she heard a voice. It was a young teenage boy about her age. He was one of the Tucks. The Tucks were a family that has lived in the forest for years and years on end.Obviously longer than she thought. See the water that was in that stream was everlasting water. It would make you live forever and ever as long as you kept drinkin it. Well winnie ended up findin out and the Tucks took her with them for a while so no one wouldfind out. Well while she stayed with them she heard all the stories of things they've done over the years and she was interested in the idea of livin forever.Well, she stayed and she stayed having a good time not even thinkin about her family. She ate their good old flap jacks grandma made to stay alive and kept stayin with them until. The rumor got out and someone found out about the well and wanted to by the land. Winnies family would not sell the land so the guy could have the water so he tried to steal it from them.In the end he was knocked out by the end of a gun and the secret was kept one. That was quite a problem but not the largest one.See winnie fell in love with the one she saw at the well and had to choose. If she chose to drink the water she would have lived forever with her love, yet see all her friends and family die.In the end she made the choice to stay who she was and die when the time. No matter how big or how small all choices can lead to complecations and disapontment.
