Rating: Summary: Tree Gap Woods Review: I think Tuck Everlasting is an exiting book to read. If you read the back of Tuck Everlasting I think you will want to read it after! In the book there is a murder , a jailbreak, and a kidnapp. One other importent part in Tuck Everlasting is somthing that is in Tree Gap Woods. But you will half to read the book to find out what it is.
Rating: Summary: Parents should read, too. Review: I read this book 20 years ago and didn't think it was still in print until I came across it the other day. I re-read the book in one sitting. I forgot just how well written this book was. The author's prose is smooth and that opening sentence is divine -exactly what August feels like. Any parents whose children are reading this should read it, too. I think it addresses some pertitent issues to today's world- obsession with youth and longevity, sadness, lonliness, greed - all important issues for children and adults. Tuck Everlasting also presents a strong, endearing main character in Winnie. She's one of my favorite characters.
Rating: Summary: Tuck Everlasting Review: I like Tuck Everlasting because it tells you about what life would be like if your life whell never ended and you stayed the same age forever.I rate this book 4 stars because in the beginning it was boring and it wasn't making sense to me.
Rating: Summary: Tuck Everlasting Review: I like the book because it was a little fun because if you think livintg for ever it is realy fun. I didn't like the book because it is confusing and pridictable.
Rating: Summary: Tuck Everlasting Review: I really liked it, it's ok,but the best part is when Winnie is about to drink the spring, if you want to find out what is the spring you should read it.
Rating: Summary: bad book Review: I think the book was to predictabel. it is also to sad .it is not a good book.
Rating: Summary: Tuck Everlasting Review: I happen to think that Tuck Everlasting is a very well-written piece of literature. It deals with an issue that everyone thinks about at one point in their life and changes their view on it. It is a great mixture of adventure and mystery that will keep you from putting it down. My favorite part of the book is the suspense and the ability it has to keep you guessing. I recommend this book to everyone!
Rating: Summary: Tuck Everlasting Review: I think this book was well-written. I liked the plot and the Theme, but the author could of made it longer and make something happen that was more disasterous. Like maybe Winnie would have taken the water of life and had to find out a way to change her back into a normal, growing child.
Rating: Summary: Spring of life Review: I did not realy like this book. Tuck Everlasting was too pradictable. Also it wasnt very detailed. I wouldn't suggest this book to any of my friends. If you like to figure out books before the end, read this book
Rating: Summary: The book Tuck Everlasting was great! Review: Winnie, a nine year old girl, saw a toad across the road. She looked at it but it didn't even twitch. It hopped off into the wood and Winnie told the toad she would be there tommorow moring. So the next morning Winnie went into the wood and saw the toad. Once it hopped away she saw a boy drinking from a spring. She asked him if she could drink from it to. He said no because it was not good for her. Then his mom, brother, and father came. They took her away to a pond at told her their secet. Then the Tucks took Winnie to their house. Winnie had dinner, a tour of the house, and breakfast in the morning. A little while later, the next morning, the man in the yellow suit came to the Tuck's door. He took Winnie out the backdoor, and before he could get away Mae shot him. But when Mae shot him the constable saw the whole thing. So she had to go to the county jail. Later that night, at midnight, Mae escaped from jail. Winnie took her place and the constable found her next morning. Winnie died later in the years. When the Tucks came back Angus saw her grave.
