Summary: Sorta Disapointed
Review: This book was pretty good, and had a fantastic moral, but it was really sad. I expected a happier ending, I'll admit that I was kinda dispointed. You should still read though. It is a clasic, even if it is sad. Read this book with a bowl of chocolate. (It'll make you feel better in the sad parts.)

Summary: Quality Literature
Review: After I read this book I was captivated. Natalie Babbit does a superb job of getting her readers inside the minds of Winnie and the Tucks. Besides obvious surface themes, there are many underlying themes that make for excellent discussion. The book is quite readable and the themes are not too intense for the target audience. The book does not contain foul launguage or inappropriate themes and is quite fit for classroom use. I student teach in January and plan to use it in my fifth grade classroom.

Summary: Tuck Everlasting
Review: Tuck Everlasting was a beautifully written book about a family with an amazing gift: To Live Forever. Soon Winnie Foster stumbles upon their secret and has simple, yet profound questions to ask herself. Although this book was very good, it was very short and would have been better if it was about 50-100 pages longer. But, length is not the most important thing and I think one of the reasons that it's short is because it's a thinking book and an overall amazing book.

Summary: Beautiful story
Review: Natalie Babbitt's Tuck Everlasting is a beautiful tale of 10 year old Winnie Foster, who is tired of living under her family's rule and never being allowed to do anything. She decides to run away one day and meets the Tuck Family living within her family's wood. The Tucks reveal to Winnie that they have not aged in over eighty years, and though Winnie does not entirely believe their story, she grows to love the Tucks and calls them hers. When the Tucks' secret and lives are threatened, Winnie finds herself doing things she would never have imagined to save them. Tuck Everlasting is a beautiful story and shows us that things that we think we would want most of all are not always blessings. This is a great story to help children understand the cycle of life and why things live and die.

Summary: Tuck Everlasting a touching story
Review: I think Tuck Everlasting is a good short story. It's about a girl named Winnie from a small town in August in the 1880's. She is walking threw her wood when she stumbles upon the fountain of youth. Next thing she knows. She is kidnapped by a family called the Tucks who had the drank water. A touching story that puts you in deep thought. I recommend you purchase this book.

Summary: This book motivated me to read more novels!
Review: My teacher made us read Tuck Everlasting in our sixth grade reading class. I thought: Oh no! Not another novel!I never was really addicted to any book with small lettering and a lot of pages. I usually read series like Two of a Kind, or Harry Potter. Okay, Okay! There is an exeption. I read Harry Potter because it is mind thrashing! After we finished this book, I thought the story was great! Now I know that should put my mind into a book more. Tuck Everlasting is a great story. Winnie Foster is really responsible to know that being alive forever isn't that cool or all that great. It's more like a punishment to her. To go over the same age over and over again. To go over the same stages again and again. I don't think that is very cool. I'd rather experience another age. I'd like to do through all the stages that a girl goes through. Winnie was smart to give the frog her water while it was just about to die. This book was funny in some ways also. I loved this book. I think Natalie Babbit should win an award for motivating kids to read more novels and longer books.

Summary: Tuck Everlasting
Review: I thought that Tuck Everlasting is a book that is filled with creativity and excitment. I think that the concept of the book is very complicated, but also very interesting. The thought of living forever really made me think. Would you want to live forever? You might be able to confidently answer that question after you read the book. It was hard for me to stop reading it after I read the first two pages. I seriously recommend this book to any reader seeking adventure and excitement. It is probably one of my favorite books that I have read.

Summary: WOW WHAT A GREAT BOOK !!!
Review: This book was excellent it was a combination of mystery, kidnapping, muder, adventure, and romance. The part I liked the most about the book was that sometimes it made you think like crazy but others you could just cruze through the book like you were actually there. I loved how Babbit could focas so much attention on so little things like frogs. One way the author made you think was that she left out the names of some people like the man in the yellow suit. The only thing that was dissapointing was the ending. I thought it was dissapointing because I wanted Winnie and Jesse to run off or the Tucks finally find a way to die or something more exciting than Winnie and her parents dieing. But still even with the little bit of the dissapointing ending the book is still no less than excellent. Nattalie Babbit did a wonderful job on the book.

Summary: Tuck Everlasting
Review: Tuck Everlasting is in my opinion a great book. It centers on the main character, Winnie Foster who stumbles upon a family who will live forever until the end of time. She faces many events throughout the book including the everhard trouble of keeping the family's secret, deciding whether or not to drink the water and live forever with them, and falling in love with Jesse, the family's 17 year old son. Although, this book was full of detail and makes you want to read until the end, I bet the movie that comes out on October 11, 2002 will be better.
