It makes you think about what is life and death and it transulates it in such a way to make you stop and think about if you could live forever, would you? There is non-stop ecitement and Natalie Babbitt has done a far out job of this novel. If you don't read it, watch the movie; just get this story in your mind!

Summary: What's The Secret?
Review: A young girl named Winnie Foster is walking in the woods when she meets a "young" man about 17. she asks him how old he is and he says 104. Winnie is shocked. The boy Jesse explains everything as soon as he makes sure no one is listening. He says that many years ago, his family and his horse drank water from the oak spring causing them to live FOREVER! the dad says they are like rocks, they just are! they never get any older or age at all! everyone would want to have that kind of power, that is why it must be kept secret. To find out if they are kept secret, i think you should checkout the book! i totally reccomend it!

Review: What a great children's book! The story was enthralling the first time I read it back in grade school and it still is today. I do have to say that I recently went to go see the Disney movie version of the book and the book highly exceeds the quality of the movie. This book is a must read for people of all ages!

Summary: Not "Everlasting" Enough for Our Class!
Review: I am a 5th grade teacher at OLPH school in Downey, CA, and my class and I just finished reading "Tuck Everlasting." We loved it! The students got into groups to read and discuss the plot, characters, and the literary elements of the story. We all thoroughly enjoyed Babbit's use of language, symbollism and the overall sense of whimsy. Now we are going to celebrate by going as a class to see the film version, then we can make some comparisons. Let's see if the movie lives up to this incredible book!

Tuck Everlasting is about a girl named Winnie Foster and a family named Tuck. Winnie decides that she wants to run away, She runs away into her woods and sees Jesse Tuck drinking from a spring. Then suddenly gets swept off her feet and taken to the Tucks cabin and get told a secret that will change her life forever. What she would've chose at first is'nt what she chooses last.It is A wonderful book and can be read by all ages. Natalie Babbit is a great writer and this book shows it.

Review: I thought that "Tuck Everlasting" was so good. The movie has a lot to live up to. This novel really made you think about what would happen if you did live forever? It just opened a lot of questions & I'm sure others would agree. I think that the plot was so creative & it was very well written. It really was enchanting---I read it in 1 sitting & was mesmerized. I would recommend it to children & adults, in this case both can enjoy it. I really like the book & it was definitely woth while to read.
