Rating: Summary: Tuck Everlasting Review: The book Tuck Everlasting was a very exciting book. There was a wide range of emotions, such as being sad, frightened, and happiness. The book's main idea was about magical water. Tuck Everlasting took place in the 1800's- 1900's. My favorite character was Jesse because he was full of adventure. My least favorite character was Miles, because they didn't really tell much about him. I like outgoing people and he seems like a shy person. Another likeable character was Winnie. She was one of my favorite characters because she was daring. She was also adaptable and adjusted to the Tuck's way of living very fast. Jesse's parents were very wise and down to earth, while Winnie's parents were quite proper. The strictness of her parents caused Winnie to run away. It was exciting to see Winnie enjoy her new freedom while she stayed with the Tucks. It was also fun to see Jesse have a friend because he was lonely from living a life of secrecy. You really wanted Jesse to tell Winnie the truth about his life because she was the kind of person you trusted. That was my favorite part of the book. While the Tuck's were telling Winnie the truth, something surprising happened. This is where things started to get exciting, and scary. There were so many unpredictable moments in the second half of the book that kept you guessing, it was difficult to put the book down. You wanted to know Winnie's decision that could change her life forever. There was a bad guy that could ruin everything for everyone. The father of Jesse had his concerns for Winnie and would her parents find her. If and when they did find her, what would happen to all of them? The ending was a surprise for me, because I expected Winnie to make a different decision. After thinking about it, I think she made the right decision. I don't think I would have been as strong as she was in that situation. I felt sorry for Jesse and probably would have been mad at my father for advising Winnie on what to do. The book had a lot of good lessons to learn and gave you plenty to think about. It makes you think about right versus wrong; what happiness really is; quality versus quantity and the importance of family and friends. The book was really adventurous and the author used very descriptive and creative writing. It was easy to get lost in the story because you felt like you were there, and wished you were there! The story was written almost like a fairy tale with magic, adventure, romance, villains and a surprise ending. As the book went on the story was told at a really good pace and was easy to read because it was a fascinating story. From a kid who doesn't read a lot of books, this book I would recommend to readers of all levels.

Rating: Summary: Could have been better, still okay Review: I had to read this book for an assingment in sixth grade. Alot of people who had read it told me it was bad and boring. I thought to myself (never believing what people tell me, even to this day)'oh, well it can't really be THAT bad right?'. So, I started reading it with no worries. Soon later, I thought back into my thick skull and knew that this book was not going to be on my "Favorite Book List". Yes, sure, this book wasnt really that bad, I actually thought it was okay, but I didnt like the ending. To be honest with you, I thought it was pointless and stupid. But if you are still looking for an okay-kind-of-dissapointing-but-still-okay-and-worthwhile-to-read-on-rainy-days-book, then check out Tuck Everlasting. And dont forget to post you results on Amazon.com!

Rating: Summary: Ryan Review: I think that Tuck Everlasting is a very good book for children between the ages of 10-12 years of age. The most interesting part of the book is the idea that if you drink out of the spring, you will live forever. I think that many people would enjoy reading this book because the idea of living forever appeals to so many people. I think even though this is a good book for kids, adults would probably like this book too. I'm looking forward to the movie coming out so I can compare the book with what the director of the movie wants us to see. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to sit down and read an intertaining book.
