Rating: Summary: Tuck Review Review: Tuck everlasting was the worst book I ever read! This book wasn't a good book to read because is was really boring! This book had a slow beginning, middle, and end. Also, some parts of this book were slow. Tuck Everlasting was about a 10-year-old girl named Winnie who runs away and gets kidnapped. The Tucks kidnapped Winnie because they didn't want her to tell there secret. While the Tucks were in the middle of kidnapping Winnie, a man in a yellow heard the Tucks explain there secret to Winnie. The man in the yellow suet made a deal with Winnie's dad to give him the woods (that's where the Tuck's secret was) in trade of his daughter's safe return. Then, the man in the yellow suet went to the Tuck's house and told then the deal and that he will be taking Winnie. Then the best part came, Mae Tuck hit the man in the yellow suet in with a shotgun and killed him. Mae went to Jail because she killed him. That night the Winnie and the Tucks broke Mae out of Jail. Jesse Tuck gave Winnie some of the Tuck's secret to drink when she was 17. Winnie............. In conclusion, this book isn't a good book to read because it takes forever to get going and had many slow parts!
Rating: Summary: Tuck Everlasting Review Review: This year in reading class I read the book Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt. Tuck Everlasting is about a ten year old girl, Winnie, who dreams about running away. One day, Winnie does run away into the woods her family owned. About halfway through the woods, Winnie comes accross a young boy, almost a man, who is drinking from a spring. Moments later, she is being lifted off a horse in front of a strange house deep in the woods. The house is owned by a family named Tuck. Winnie grows to like them, and soon learns thier strange secret. I think this book is a wonderfully written book. I especially liked this book because it is full of suspence and you can fully share the character's feelings.
Rating: Summary: Tuck Everlasting Review: Tuck Everlasting, by Natalie Babbit, was a book that anyone, any age would and most definetly enjoy. Winnifred Foster, of Treegap is a ten year old girl with a lack of adventure. She is a homegirl that has never gone farther away from her house than the edge of her fence. After many days she got fed up and left her house to venture into the wood. She came across very akward people who were drinking from a weird spring. They kidnapped her unwillingly and brought her back to there house. She was confused about the spring and everything that was happening. The people that kidnapped her were the Tucks and they were hiding a secret of immortality. Over the days that Winnie spent with the Tucks, she learned many lessons and she changed her aspect about life. The secret was safe with Winnie, but was it with a mysterious man that seemed to be lurking them. Tuck Everlasting was an enjoyable book but it was alittle long and got boring from time to time. I would reccomend this book to anybody who enjoys a good novel. This book deserves 4 stars.
Rating: Summary: Reveiw on Tuck Everlasting Review: Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbit has been one of my favorite books since I first read it when I was six. It stars a ten year old girl named Winnie Foster who runs away from home into the wood that her family owns. She sees a young boy named Jesse drinking from a stream and talks to him. When she asks for a drink from the stream he becomes uncomftorable and tries to talk her out of it. When Jesse's mom Mae and his brother Miles come with their old horse, they kidnapp her. I gave this book five stars because it is very well written and very original. I whould recomend this book to everyone over the age of seven. Young children may not understand some parts of the book, or some of the words used. My favorite character in Tuck Everlasting is Winnie Foster. I can relate to Winnie in many ways, she has mostly the same personality as I do and I think age ten is a terrific age to have the main character. In my opinion, Tuck Everlasting is an extraordanary book.
Rating: Summary: Tuck Everlasting Review: Tuck Everlasting is a book about a girl named Winnie Foster. It started out when Winnie ran away from home into the woods because she was tired of living under strict rules. When in the woods, she came across a boy drinking from a spring from the ground. Only a few minutes after she had found him, she was being kidnapped by the boys brother Miles and his mother, Mae. You would think that these people were bad, but they really weren't. They were actually very kind. The only reason they captured her was so that they could make sure she didn't let out their secret, but they would take her home as soon as possible. When the Tuck's(the family that kidnapped Winnie)were about to take her home, a man in a yellow suit came to try and take her away. Luckly, he didn't. I think that this book was fairly good. One thing that I liked was the part when Winnie over came the boy drinking from the ground. This part made me want to finish the book that minute. I wanted to know everything that happened. I would have to say that anyone who likes adventure or a little romance should read this book.
Rating: Summary: Tuck Everlasting Review: I really liked the book Tuck Everlasting By Natalie Babbitt. The author decribed really well about the theme. The setting really fit the story well. I thought the idea of a magical spring that gives everlasting youth was a really neat idea to write a book about. The best part in the book was when Winnie Foster wondered into the woods and Jesse Tuck was drinking from a spring and she became thirsty and went over to to the spring for a drink. Jesse stopped her and said "I can't let you do that". Cause the spring wasn't just any ordinary spring it was magical one. Who ever drank from this spring stayed the same age forever. After Winnie found out the spring was there the Tucks came and took her away. Jesse said he wanted Winnie to wait till she turned 17 then drink from the spring so they can stay the same age and wonder all over the world togetherr. When the Tucks came to take her away to their house. They actually didn't want anyone else to know about the spring. Since she found out the Tucks had to tell her the story about why the spring was magical and what it means. The resolution of the story is the Tucks actually told another person about the spring. Which was very hard to do but were realived when finally did so.

Rating: Summary: The ending stinks!!!!!!!!!! Review: The book Tuck Everlasting was good but the ending stunk!!!!!! I hate it how they write these books with a crummy ending just leaving you hanging. Winnie should have drank the water and married Jesse. But I did like how she went in Maes place in the jail. And at the end , that toad was probably Winnies Toad and it will live forever!!!!!
