Summary: An Everlasting lovely story
Review: Much before the eco-friendly fashion, Natalie Babbitt wrote a novel about the importance of nature for life on earth. 'Tuck Everlasting' tells the story of a family doomed to --or blessed with-- living forever and never getting older. They have been hiding for many years, but end up found by an adolescent who lives nearby. Telling more is spoiling the fun of reading the wonderful novel wrote for kids, but that may please adults alike.

What I liked most is how subtle the writer deals with the ecology preservation is in the novel. The Tucks got eternal life from drinking the water of a pond, and there is a man in yellow suit trying to buy the place where the pond is, so that he can bottle the water and sell it. I think that somehow the writer is showing us how dangerous it is to mess up with Mother Nature. All the time, Babbitt talks about the importance of the forests and the water to life.

This is a book that will sure last forever. In a hundred of years people will still be reading this novel and enjoying it. Kids may grow used to technology, but they will always be touched by such a simple and lovely story. So will adults.

Summary: Winnie Foster
Review: I read the book Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt. This book was extraordinary. I liked it a lot because it had very little down time in the beginning, middle, and ending.

Staring into the forest that had never been in, 10-year-old Winnie foster always wonder what it would be like if she ran away. One day she got up and ran into the forest, which led, her to meet the Tuck family, a family that never aged. They told her about the spring water that kept them from growing old.

Worried aboult his daughter, Winnie's father gets help from a mysterious man in the yellow suit that wants the forest in return for his help. he doesn't care about the forest but wants to make money by selling the water. A conflict arises between the Tucks and this man, which leads to his death. Winnie learns that having something precious isn't always the best thing to have.

I recommend that you read this mysterious adventure book for yourself to find out if Winnie shares the information about the spring. I would recommend this book so you can compare it to the move. If I rate this book on a scale 1-10 I would give it a 10.

Summary: Great Re-Read For Adults
Review: I just finished reading this book last night after being reminded that I read it as a child. I feel that this book is beautifully written and has a fascinating conclusion. This is a very nice evening read (I finished it in about two hours).

However, I can see how the children writing reviews on this novel were bored. I do not see this as a book for a child accustomed to "Harry Potter" and similar action-packed novels would enjoy "Tuck Everlasting." I would only recommend this to a child content with environment (I loved the country and time settings of this when I was a child) and description (I was similarly entertained by the descriptions of the forest, lake, and weather).

Summary: Great Fantasy Book
Review: I liked Tuck Everlasting because it was exciting. It was a good book if you like fantasy. It was fun to read because there is adventure and excitement that you don't want to miss.

This book is about a family who drank from a spring in the woods. They live forever and never get hurt. Winnie Foster was bored of her perfect family. She ran away from home, she ran away in her fathers wood. Walking in the woods, Winnie met Jesse Tuck. She saw him drinking out of a spring. She wanted a drink out of the spring. Jesse wouldn't let her drink out of the spring. Jesse, his mom and brother told Winnie that they will live forever from drinking out of the spring. Without the Tucks and Winnie realizing it, they were being followed by the Man in the Yellow Suit. The Man in the Yellow Suit had heard their secret about living forever. The Tucks brought Winnie back to their house. Winnie stayed there overnight. Winnie has the choice of living forever or living a normal life. What will she choose?

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy and books that take place a long time ago. If you don't like to read long books then you should read this book, it is an easy to read.

Review: I believe Tuck Everlasting is a must read book. Especially if you love fantasy and a good story. I used this book for school and read a chapter a day. The thing that always upset me, was that the chapters were so short! I wanted to find out what happened next each time. I highly suggest this book to anyone who wants to read it.

Summary: Tuck Everlasting
Review: Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt is a sad, suspenseful, mystery about a rich girl Winnie. She finds herself being pressured into being proper by her parents and ends up running away into Treegap (a forest her parents own). The main characters are Winnie, Tuck, Mae, Jesse, Miles, and the man in the yellow suit.
The first thing that happens is that Winnie is being brought up too fancy and she doesn't like it. Then she ends up running away from home into the woods and gets lost. She is walking around and she meets this boy drinking from a spring and wants some too. The boy does not want her to drink from it for some reason so he kidnaps her and they meet up with the boys' family. Will Winnie ever find her way home? Will she want to?
I like this book because it suspenseful like when it made you wait for a long time so the suspense builds up. It is also a sort of sad book later on in the book. It is a mysterious book. I think that the theme of Tuck Everlasting is Be Yourself. I think that because Winnie's mother tries to make Winnie fancy when she doesn't want to be so she runs away. If you read this book then don't watch the movie first , because then the book gets confusing, because there is a lot of changes in the movie. Tuck Everlasting is a very good book. I recommend it to anyone who likes suspense.
