Summary: A Small Disappointment
Review: Influenced by what I've heard about the book over the media, I rushed out to get the book as soon as I could. It was a little disapointing to discover how light the book was. It left me with an small void, a nagging feeling that there should have been more to it than just that.

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: I loved this book! I had seen the movie and wanted to read the book. The book was better than I ever imagined. If you have any thoughts about reading the book after you watched the movie, please read the book you will love morrie and his story even more than you did before.

Summary: Once in a lifetime
Review: Simply put, this book changed my life. It is a rare book that makes you sit back and evaluate your life and your priorities, but Tuesdays with Morrie is that rare book. Everything I have done since reading Mitch Albom's book has been colored in some way by the experience that he shared with the world. It's a wonderful book and a once-in-a-lifetime read.

Summary: Should be assigned reading for the class of life.
Review: This book is a must read. The life philosophy and insight of Morrie is truly omniscient. If everyone could only comply with Morrie's advice 10% of the time the world would be a much better place, and everyone would be much happier.

Summary: the greatest lessons learned
Review: I don't understand how anyone can bash this heartfelt story of a student and the most important teacher of his life. This book brought me to tears and I can honestly say that no other book has had that effect on me. This is definitely a book everyone should read.. We should all become aware of what is really important in this life. Well if I told you the sacred things of this life, I would be giving away the story... Read this one...You wont forget it! Oh yea I just happen to be a freshman at Brandeis this year...I just thought I would add that...I wish I would have had the chance to have had Maurie Schwartz as my teacher and in ways I did eventhough I never spent time with him in a classroom.

Summary: Tuesdays to Avoid
Review: I READ THE BOOK BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN ON THE BEST SELLER LIST FOR QUITE SOMETIME AND HAD BEEN RECOMMENDED TO ME. IN GENERAL, IT WAS A REAL DISAPOINTMENT! ALTHOUGH THE BOOK WAS TOUCHING AT TIMES, IT DID NOTHING BUT SKIM THE SURFACE OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE AUTHOR AND HIS "COACH." EACH CHAPTER WAS SO SHORT THAT NO TOPIC WAS ADAQUATELY COVERED. I FELT LIKE I WAS READING THE OUTLINE OF A NOVEL ABOUT TO BE WRITTEN. I ALSO FELT THAT IT WAS SOMEWHAT INSENSITIVE TO THOSE LESS FINANCIALLY FORTUNATE TO READ ABOUT THESE TWO MEN'S DISCUSSIONS OF GIVING UP THE PERSUIT OF MATERIAL HAPPINESS. NEITHER WILL HAVE TO WORRY WHERE THEIR NEXT MEAL WILL BE COMING FROM IF THEY GIVE IT UP. THE BOOK IS SHORT AND COULD BE READ IN A COUPLE OF HOURS SO DO SO IF ONLY TO KEEP UP WITH THE CULTURE.

Summary: Great Simple Life Lessons for Those Willing to Listen
Review: I have read the reviews of others and while I agree, that this book is certainly not going to win any awards for its literary style, I think that its simple message is one that is to easily forgotten in today's fast paced competitive world. Cynics may dismiss Morrie's advice as simple aphorisms and lacking real depth, but I think if one looks closer, Morrie is able to boil down the complex game of life into a few simple lessons that are important for everyone to read once in a while to gain some perspective. I was very moved by this book and think that anyone who is not too jaded by today's world will too. I thoroughly recommend this book, it is a quick read and can really help you rethink the priorities in your life.

Summary: Couldn't put this book down!
Review: From the first moment I opened this little gem of a book till I put it down on my nightstand I was captivated. It made me rethink my relationships with my loved ones and appreciate simple things I once took for granted. The last two chapters brought me to tears. A must read for anyone looking for a book to cleanse their soul.

Summary: Everyone will be touched deeply
Review: Morrie lived his life fully. He tells the reader valuable lessons of life. A book that everyone, any age can learn from. Live and give unconditionaly every day of your life.

Summary: Buy Morrie's Book
Review: In my opinion, it's mostly hype. It is a very LIGHT book. I wanted more about Morrie instead of the narrator/author. When I discovered that Morrie had written his own book, I wished I had not bought and read Mitch Albom's book about him. Although I have not bought/read Morrie's book yet, I would hope it's better--or at least worth the time you spend to read it, in comparison to Mitch Albom's book that should be about Morrie!
